21/06/2025: Very disappointing food poor and tasteless

11/06/2025: We went to this restaurant for a midweek lunch break and the staff welcomed us in the best way possible. Since it was a weekday it wasn't very crowded, so we were able to find a very fast and attentive service. The quality of the dishes is really excellent, we ordered an assassina with stracciatella, a first course San juannidd style, a swordfish with zucchini alla poverella and San juannidd sauce (my favorite) and two roasted octopus with broad beans and chicory. Everything was delicious. The bill was, in my opinion, adequate for the dishes ordered. We will definitely be back

23/03/2025: If there were 10 stars per review I would give them all 10, or rather 11!! I think it is among the best pizza in Monte Sant'Angelo, panzerotti and also paposcie are delicious, and to conclude as the icing on the cake some clouds that melted in your mouth. Highly recommended indeed.

30/06/2025: Great experience! Elegant, comfortable, quiet place, surrounded by nature, for true relaxation! Architecture maintained in respect of the history of the place. Friendly, professional and attentive staff. Excellent cuisine for the quality of the food and its preparation: light, tasty, varied dishes and also in respect of local tradition. Large, fresh, clean and essential rooms in the furnishings. Abundant breakfasts and care in the choice of products in the name of authenticity. Definitely worth returning to

22/06/2025: Hidden in an olive grove, lies this beautiful country house hotel. Friendly staff,,,very nice swimming pool. Breakfast buffet perfect and certainly the dinner in the evening is recommended. In short,,,top here.!!!!

26/07/2025: The food was good, but nothing special. I had Tagiatella di Monza and octopus. Both were okay. The wine was good.

10/05/2025: Japigiano – The Best Smash Burger in Town! I go to Japigiano regularly, and it never disappoints. The quality is always consistent — perfectly smashed, crispy-edged burgers with incredible flavor every single time. Antonio is a true talent. His passion for what he does shows in every detail, from the food to the service. He’s always welcoming, and the experience he delivers makes Japigiano feel like more than just a burger joint — it’s a place you genuinely look forward to returning to. Easily the best smash burger in town. Highly recommended!

11/02/2025: On the advice of a friend, I tried the smashed burger. I don't think I've ever eaten such a poorly prepared hamburger. Tasteless and very low quality meat. I don't comment on the prices, I find them out of the market based on the service and the product offered. In conclusion, NEVER AGAIN.

01/06/2025: Gelato ottimo, il migliore di Peschici. Certificato AIC senza glutine. Alla nostra richiesta di gelato senza glutine è stata seguita tutta la procedura corretta. Gusti originali e pertinenti con la località. Servizio impeccabile e massima gentilezza. Da provare e riprovare.

06/06/2025: Iniziamo dal servizio: è chiaro che in cucina imprevisti o contrattempi possono accadere, ma far uscire piatti a singhiozzo, costringendo ognuno a mangiare per conto proprio, senza che nessuno dello staff abbia mai cercato di gestire il problema, anticipando semplicemente delle scuse o premurandosi di verificare in cucina lo status dei piatti, non ci è affatto piaciuto. Per quando riguarda il cibo, crudo di mare gustoso (a parte i ricci totalmente senza sapore), antipasti di pesce caldi nulla di che (sushi freddissimo), risotto ai frutti di mare slegato e insipido (buone le vongole). Allo sbarazzo dei piatti, con ancora del cibo, nessuno che si sia preoccupato di chiedere il perché non avessimo gradito, se non altro per dimostrare attenzione verso il cliente e disponibilità a migliorarsi.

21/04/2025: Ancora una volta,oggi giorno di Pasquetta in Famiglia,il titolare con tutto lo staff,erano impegnati nel soddisfare le nostre richieste.Antipasti eccellenti,crudo di mare una bontà unica,due primi aragosta con le linguine,un risotto ai frutti di mare,poi delle verdure crude,due piatti di una croccante frittura di paranza Abbiamo completato il pranzo,con sorbetto,caffè,amaro è un dolce,tutti soddisfatti per la disponibilità,professionalità ma soprattutto per la serietà che il Sig.Donato,dedica a questo lavoro,come sempre grazie di tutto allo staff,quelli in sala è quelli in cucina,arrivederci alla prossima.Un saluto cordiale da Emanuele.

02/07/2025: Simply terrible. The water is so dirty from all the people. They charge the use of showers. There are screaming children everywhere. The average age on premises is around 12. The beach bar that rents out the umbrellas and sunbeds is misserable and completely outdated. If you do not have children and you want clean water I would suggest Porto Nero just 5 minutes from here. The sunbeds are a bit cheaper but the water is clear since there is no seaweed and sand. And much more calm. The food there is also mediocre, but the exterior is much much better.

01/07/2025: We have been through more, but we have become accustomed to coming back here. Nice entrance to the sea, showers, toilets, bar. Very clean and pleasant surroundings
