30/01/2025: A beautiful, characteristic and welcoming location. The cousin is superb! You can feel the quality of the products used and the care and professionalism in preparing the dishes. All very delicious indeed! The bruschetta with burrata and prawns are infinitely good. The service is also excellent.

23/03/2025: Exaggerated prices. We paid around 75 euros ONLY for the 1.5kg Florentine steak (said by them, impossible to verify). This was enough to say that I will never go back again. Too bad because the quality is good.

02/03/2025: Such a special little spot. Daniela is an amazing host. We loved staying in an authentic and charming rural agriturismo complete with cute doggy pack, Shadow the donkey, and two little sheep. Our rooms were simple and clean, amazing beds, quiet and lovely, as well as historical. The standout of course was the food, the space, and the welcoming host, Daniela- she is a true gem. Do yourself a favour and stay here if you’re looking for a charming farm getaway. We traveled with our dogs who loved it too!

07/01/2025: We had dinner in this restaurant after visiting the beautiful village of Acaya, a welcoming environment with a fireplace which on a January evening, even if not very cold, warms the body and mind, we ate a good seafood salad and octopus in pignata , exquisite, a first course with aubergines and sausage, the second course horse meat that melted in the mouth and some fried foods including the typical Salento breasts, all washed down with a good Susumaniello

Piatti cucinati alla perfezione, curati nei minimi dettagli. Nonostante nel locale ci fossero due tavolate, sono stati veloci nel servizio. Prezzi onestissimi. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente❤️

11/02/2025: I go to the Marè restaurant 2 or 3 times a year in July/August. The dishes are good and plentiful and I am very surprised by the negative reviews. If the restaurant is always full, it means the food is good there. The service is fast and the servers are friendly.

The Locanda de Levante is undoubtedly the top in Salento. The novelty of dry-aged fish is an experience that I hope you can share. The attentive dining room staff is professional. Upon arrival, we were greeted with great courtesy by both the staff and the owner, who accompanied us to our table and offered us a delicious welcome taste. The dishes are taken care of down to the smallest detail, and you can perceive the professionalism of the chefs in every course. The quality of the food is excellent, with a selection that ranges from meat and fish dishes, including dishes based on dry-aged fish, a true rarity that demonstrates the care taken in preparation. Furthermore, the wine cellar offers a good choice, perfect to accompany each dish. The prices are very affordable, which makes the restaurant even more interesting. The staff is trained and always attentive to customer needs. Ultimately, it was a wonderful experience that I will certainly repeat. Highly recommended!
