21/12/2024: Best Neapolitan Pizzeria in Pontedera but I'm forced to give only 3 stars due to the service. It's not acceptable with such a large room to have the room full and only 1 person to take orders, it's not good especially on weekends, there are 3 other guys to bring orders but who obviously don't take deliveries. I'm sorry but the service should be improved also because not everyone is willing to sit for 2 hours for a simple pizza.

08/10/2024: We thought about going to the Osteria del Gambero Rosso restaurant in Pinocchio park to be comfortable and well served, but the experience turned out to be a big disappointment. I go with my family to the restaurant shortly after 1pm with three children aged 5, 3 years and 7 months. When I arrive, no one comes to meet me despite the fact that in the large room there are a DOZEN occupied tables and several waiters. After several minutes I decide to go forward, go to meet them and they assign us a table in a fairly secluded area. We immediately decide what to order because the children are not only hungry but also tired from the morning of games so the shop assistant leaves no later than 1.10pm. Given the small crowd, I allow myself to ask if they can let the first of the children out (a pasta with tomato sauce to share) to calm them down and I am told that it will be very difficult... at this point the waiting begins. We wait, we wait, we wait. Apart from water and bread, nothing arrives and no one even pays us a glance for almost an hour. At 2.00pm the children are not only super hungry but also quite tired and I start looking around to nod to some waiter, but I only see heads down, everyone comes in and out of the kitchen like lightning and it is impossible for me to intercept them. Another 5/6 minutes pass and at this point I get up, with the baby in my arms and go to ask. A young waiter tells me he'll check and let me know. He checked, but didn't tell me anything, so much so that I had to get up a few minutes later to ask why he hadn't brought me anything back. At that point the waiter who had taken the order intervenes and tells me that it was his fault, that our order was PAUSED. I look at him quite incredulous and visibly annoyed and go back to my seat. After less than 5 minutes the pasta arrives and I comment that if the children hadn't been there I would have waited more calmly, and in response I hear myself say in a loud tone "I've already told her that it's my fault, that I made a mistake, she wants to bite me arm (and hands it to me) or what should I do should I prostitute myself?" At which point I realized that the person had no intention of doing better, beyond his own admission of the mistake. The adults' dishes arrived around 2.30pm. Here, this is precisely the point why I give ONE STAR and they will never see me again, everyone can make mistakes in their work, but a good professional tries to make up for it, shows empathy and, in such a situation, also offers a coffee, why not! But none of this, in fact, I also paid the cover for the seven-month-old baby... To be honest, I have to correct the part about the discount, as I took the receipt back in my hand after reading the restaurateur's response and had not received a reduction when paying. The discount received is €4.50 (!) out of a total of €74.50. Receipt time, since I have it in front of me, 2.44pm. For the rest, I leave it to the reader to orient himself between the two versions of the story.

27/07/2024: Credevo fosse il solito ristorante acchiappaturisti posto appena fuori un punto dove in genere vanno appunto i turisti, ma in questo ristorante a fianco del Parco Pinocchio a Collodi si mangia davvero bene. E il servizio non è da meno...

06/10/2024: Small, cozy bistro with friendly and motivated service. Delicious pizzas that are bigger than the plate. Large selection of beers, unfortunately I couldn't enjoy them because I was there by car. We'll be back to try the burgers!! Update: Meanwhile, we also enjoyed the burgers...they were delicious. And again the service was first class, very friendly and attentive. My tip: If you are in Castiglione, go to Birroteca Castiglionese and enjoy the service and excellent food at a good price!!!

19/11/2024: small restaurant located in a campsite, so it is structured for a camping holiday clientele, the food is decent, the service was quick and with friendly staff who put you at ease.

29/09/2024: We had dinner for 3 evenings in a row and to say everything was perfect, the pici allo scoglio were delicious (eaten on all 3 evenings) the fried food was excellent as were the starters. The very kind owner immediately makes you feel at home, the waitress was very professional and always with the smile. Trust me, book now, truly superb and more than honest prices

24/12/2024: I attended a birthday dinner last week, unfortunately it wasn't a good experience, very slow and incoherent service, we had brought the birthday cake and when it was time to serve it they didn't know where it was they couldn't find it nor was it portioned when they brought it no dishes... very poor service.

07/12/2024: Pizza buonissima e responsabile gentilissimo, il problema è stato il rider che ha fatto la consegna, il quale mi accolta urlandomi dalla strada appellativi come “scema” “sei una maleducata”, ininterrottamente, solo perché non trovava il mio cognome sul citofono. Il disguido e l’errore da parte mia c’è stato e l’ho ammesso anche scusandomi, ma da qui a utilizzare quei toni e a urlare ce ne passa.. quando gli ho chiuso il cancello in faccia lui è pure sceso dal motorino per continuare ad inveire.

09/09/2024: Yesterday morning a horrible situation happened to me (It should be noted that I was staying with an umbrella and sunbed in another nearby beach not chosen by me but by the bus that accompanied us), since breakfast, lunch and games suitable for small children at our beach were not were there, with friends who had already been there other times, we CHOSE and PREFERRED Lido America because the breakfast is excellent as is the lunch, my friends were happy to introduce me to the specialties of this 'beautiful lido'... Like we arrive, my 4 year old daughter immediately goes on the rides, (perhaps this was our biggest mistake) we don't even enter the room and the owner tells us "you can't come here, you have to stay on your beach" to which I I simply reply "but we would like to have breakfast here, can't we?" And she said "no, you have to do it at your beach"... All with an arrogance and rudeness that I have never seen in my life, in short, even though we wanted to have breakfast there and book lunch with them, she told us to go back to our lido because we weren't her customers and from what we understood she wasn't even interested in having us as customers for breakfast and lunch, given that we would have paid and thanked her anyway, so I had to take and make an unaware 4 year old girl cry who didn't even know what it had happened, he simply wanted to play with his rides (obviously he wouldn't have eaten his rides). Go-go rudeness! I also have a business but I have never allowed myself to be so overbearing with my clients and then I turn a blind eye in front of children... Surely the Lady must have had her reasons, but it is not with arrogance that one addresses oneself to people, there is always a way and a way. Thank you for not giving me the pleasure of trying and tasting your specialties... I went to have breakfast and play in another beach where they served and revered me with extreme kindness and they made my daughter play with the mobiles without saying anything

21/08/2024: Abbiamo festeggiato qui il primo compleanno di mia figlia con tutti i parenti ed il tutto è stato perfetto. Cibo, organizzazione, servizio, location e la straordinaria disponibilità dello staff e della titolare. Consigliatissimo. Un grazie particolare a Francesca e ai ragazzi di sala. A presto!
