24/10/2025: Quiet place. Good pizza. Fair price. Nothing to complain about. It's a great place for an evening with friends. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait.

03/10/2025: Fantastic pizza! Worth a visit. I went back yesterday after six years. The pizza is still delicious. We also tried the carbonara, which was amazing. The house white wine was perfect. Very friendly service. When in Volterra, be sure to stop by for a bite to eat :)

03/09/2025: From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once inside, it more than makes up for it. The pizza was very tasty, but the seafood spaghetti was worth a solid 10 stars. "Grandma" is a very good and flavorful cook. So, I'll go there again to try out the rest. I'm already looking forward to it.

30/11/2025: I ordered five takeout pizzas at 8:45. I had to wait 45 minutes for them to be made. The pizzas were awful, I definitely won't be back.

02/08/2025: For the quality of the sliced meat, I would give it 6 stars going to the checkout, but I can't understand how a green salad can cost 9 euros when a sliced meat costs 18. I repeat, the sliced meat deserved 23 euros too... so it would be more correct to then apply €4 for the salad.

11/11/2025: First time and last. The place was cold. I understand that since it was Monday night, they didn't have reservations, but they should warm up the place at least a little since it's open. The pizza was rightfully cold. There were six of us in the entire place, zero consideration. The coffees were brought with the dishes still on the table, which can happen, for goodness sake, with a packed house. I understand the tiredness; it's Monday, but this job requires kindness, smiles, and a lot of attention to customers. I speak from personal work experience.

11/11/2025: I complimented the pizza chefs myself because the pizza is truly delicious. As are the desserts. Definitely worth trying again!

We particularly enjoyed the location directly by the sea and in the shopping area, which made for a relaxing holiday. The room was always clean, and the food in the hotel restaurant was very delicious. We would especially like to praise the excellent service, from the manager himself to the entire team. We always felt well looked after and were provided with many useful tips for excursions in the surrounding area. The parking in front of the door at a fair price of €8 per day was also very convenient. Overall, we were completely satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit to the Hotel Playa. 15/10/2025: A well-deserved five stars for the quality-price ratio and the constant commitment, even when the place is busy. The pizzas aren't oversized, but they're made with quality ingredients. The whole wheat pizzas are also excellent. Beppe's tiramisu is very good, and the parcel of pasta is excellent.

14/09/2025: A friendly, family-friendly atmosphere, ideal for a quiet evening. The waitresses are very helpful and welcoming. Sometimes I prefer to eat here because, unlike the restaurants in the center and surrounding areas, which are crowded with tourists, here you can find a bit of simplicity and tranquility at fair prices and delicious dishes. I had Appetizer: Coccoli, stracchino cheese, and prosciutto with polenta and mushrooms (recommendation) First course: Incredible spaghetti in foil, highly recommended! Second course: Fruitturina. (The pizza was also delicious) Everything was excellent, we'll be back ❤️
