14/08/2024: On the way back after visiting the wind caves it was time for dinner and on the way we found this pizzeria. It was worth it...well-stuffed thin pizza and good flavor.

26/08/2024: Uns wurde das Restaurant von unserer Vermieterin empfohlen. Dort sollte es die beste Pizza in ganz Lucca geben, und sie hatte Recht! Wir machen keine Experimente und essen dort die Karte rauf und runter. Alles sehr lecker. Service ist sehr professionell und extrem freundlich. Tisch reservieren ist ratsam, immer sehr ausgebucht.

16/08/2024: Diciamo subito che definire pizzeria questo locale può essere considerato senz’altro riduttivo. Infatti, accanto a una infinità di squisitissime pizze, qui vengono proposti anche ottimi primi piatti e deliziosi secondi, senza trascurare, naturalmente gli antipasti e la lista dei dessert che non lasciano indifferenti neppure i più insensibili ai richiami della gola. Il proprietario, Roberto, accoglie i suoi ospiti con gentile cordialità, in un vasto spazio all’aperto con tavoli ben distanziati e di dimensioni adeguate.

02/08/2024: We had a very nice evening with very good food in a nice atmosphere. From the city side it looks very inconspicuous, but has a nice covered terrace. It's probably a family business and even if it isn't - the food is wonderful!!! So if anyone is in the area it's definitely worth a visit. Price-performance is great! Grazie mille! ❤️

31/07/2024: Unfortunately the skin side of the salmon was completely burned, slow service, unfriendly. Food and side dishes came 3 minutes apart

31/08/2024: Really wish we had a better review to write for this place, while the view is incredible it is really not worth the service received... I booked this restaurant for my 30th birthday two months before our visit to Italy and made a point to contact the restaurant via social media to request a table with the view. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were sat in the back corner of the restaurant and were told a table with the view was not possible. It was extremely disappointing as we made a point in our booking to request this and made the reservation TWO months in advance. The team did try to fit an extra chair onto the table in the front however they told us it would obstruct the diners next to us and frankly made us feel like a burden for asking. Having worked in the service industry myself for 5 years, it really didn't appear to be an issue but we did not want to argue about it. We then asked to be moved to a side table towards the back to have some view which they did kindly do for us and gifted us some bubbles as an apology which was appreciated. However, after we sat the service was really slow and we felt like a burden. The irony was that the table in the front that was being held, ended up being for a group who arrived after sunset and after we were nearly finished eating... The food was okay, certainly nothing to shout about. The staff was also unable to provide toilet paper in the bathroom as we left - we waited 10 minutes following our meal to use the restroom then just left. The best part of our evening was the kind caring hostess who had only been working there for 2 weeks. Would suggest you skip it!

29/08/2024: The pizzas were excellent, but the service was atrocious. We ordered three pizzas and one pasta. Each pizza arrived about five minutes apart, and the pasta arrived 30 minutes later. It then took 15 minutes to get the bill.

22/08/2024: Terrible pizza bought from the supermarket already ready and with poor quality ingredients also bought from the supermarket I don't recommend going there to eat for any reason in the world

27/08/2024: Take away is a guarantee 🤣❤️!! I have always been coming to Giglio, the food is excellent, excellent quality and prices accessible to all. It can be consumed on site or to take away. The linguine alla nando is special but everything is good including pizza.. for me it's not a holiday at Giglio if I don't go there ❤️🥰

19/08/2024: We ate a poke', two slices of pizza and a supplì. In the composition of the poke, the guy at the counter (maybe the owner?), seemed to be afraid to take what I had chosen with tongs, at this point he could have taken the tweezers. There were only us there at that time (around 2.30pm), well 2 grams of salmon (maybe!!!), 2 salad leaves, I mean 2! 2 grains of spelled, and the rest...no comment! Dishes with flies on them! My wife's pizza was frozen, as was the supplì! Back at the hotel, she even felt sick! I'm sorry, but you are part of those businesses that aim only at the temporary satisfaction of occasional customers! Total disappointment!!!

28/06/2024: Ogni occasione è buona per andare a trovare Marco ed il suo staff, che sia un compleanno, una reunion di famiglia, una cena con amici per fare quattro chiacchere. Ed andare in un ristorante gestito da amici e molto competenti in quello che fanno da molta soddisfazione per la qualità della cucina e per l'accoglienza. Ma sanno comunque essere piacevoli, accomodanti e molto professionali anche con persone e clienti nuovi che si affacciano al locale per la prima volta. D'estate poi è molto suggestivo mangiare in terrazza per il bel panorama sulla campagna toscana che si vede da lì. Quando posso ci vado sempre volentieri

25/06/2024: Peccato per la distanza(Bergamo) anche questa volta abbiamo cenato in modo stupendo,antipasto, primo e un fantastico filetto..dolce ,la cordialità sempre ottimale e semplicemente naturale alla prossima.

20/08/2024: Given the good reviews I booked at this restaurant. More care would be needed in the dishes, the hot seafood appetizer featured prawns that were not overcooked while the pici with clams were a little too salty. The boy who served us, perhaps given his young age or perhaps his inexperience, seemed a little too awkward. I would like to return to try the pizza which looked very good. Nice atmosphere, average prices.

10/07/2024: Good food, I recommend the pizza🍕. Very friendly staff and very fast service. For me and my family it is very convenient because it is in front of our house. This is why we go there often and the first time we were very satisfied. For birthdays it is the perfect environment because the space is large
