21/08/2025: It's been years since I've found a restaurant that cooked fish this well. Perfect flavors, perfectly cooked. I ordered takeout yesterday, and it was packaged so well that it was still hot after an hour. You can see the attention they give to their customers from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely return. My heartfelt compliments to the entire staff for their friendliness and professionalism.

21/08/2025: Our personal experience: the place is nice and clean, the staff is very kind and helpful. The food isn't bad, just average. We tried a bit of everything, from appetizers to pizzas to pasta dishes. Among these, the best dish was the spaghetti with tomato sauce—simple, perfectly cooked, and plentiful. We were disappointed, however, with the Caprese salad: three slices of tomato and three slices of mozzarella (regular mozzarella, not buffalo mozzarella) for €14 each. A macchiato is €3, a regular coffee is €2.50. €3 per person for a cover charge (knife, fork, and paper napkin). In our opinion, these prices are high for the quality-price ratio. To be fair, the receipt showing the prices paid is attached. We won't be returning.

02/09/2025: I went to the restaurant on Saturday evening to celebrate a birthday. We were greeted with no warm welcome, and the staff was sullen. We sat down at a table (the table and atmosphere were like a festival). We ordered two platters with four portions, which were truly ridiculous and not very good. The next table had the same platter with a larger selection. We went around the place and they all arrived at once, and they weren't great. Afterwards, we each ordered a pizza; those weren't good either and were burnt. Finally, we went for dessert, and that was the worst of all. Have a good evening.

01/09/2025: Neapolitan pizzeria, also certified gluten-free. The garden is lovely and relaxing, and you can also eat indoors under large gazebos. Excellent pizza, and they were kind enough to welcome us with a last-minute reservation. Overall, a positive experience. I recommend the pizza. Thank you.

23/08/2025: Ordered two pizzas... more than 30 minutes late and placed in unsuitable boxes... Always like this... pizza aside, avoid. The place is run with a lack of enthusiasm.

13/06/2025: Einfacht typisch Italienische Küche. Sehr ruhig gelegen im der Toskana. Einfache gute Küche. Mit Bilder schön beschrieben wie die Gerichte aussehen. Nonna macht die Pasta selber.

18/05/2025: In posizione defilata, lungo la strada che da Castel porta a San Gimignano, la Locanda del Borgo è un ambiente tranquillo dove si mangia toscano e bene. Ottimi i pici al ragú bianco di cinta senese così come le caramelle ripiene con la pera e il formaggio versato a cascata. Gustosissimo il tagliere con affettati toscani (coppa, finocchiona e salame) accompagnato da crostoni e salsine, il tagliere di formaggi e…senz’altro la famosa fiorentina che qui è certo di casa. Prezzi non economici, ma ormai nello standard. Cena consigliata a chi si trova da queste parti.

02/09/2025: The "large" pizza is only a reference to the price. A Margherita costs €5.50. It's tiny, as big as your hand, and the pizza has no flavor. It's made in a wood-fired oven, but it tasted like it was made in an electric oven. It was edible. The place is a pizzeria, so I would have expected a better pizza, and for it to be the highlight. edit: I tried the pie. One of the best I've ever had, go for that alone. But since the pizza sucks, I can't go above 3 stars...

30/06/2025: Quiet B&B away from traffic surrounded by greenery among olive trees, vineyards and flowers...while being in a strategic position close to Siena and the most beautiful villages in the area... Beautiful garden, simple but clean rooms managed by Mrs. Marisa and her husband Aldo. Very kind and helpful people. Good breakfast in the garden in complete relaxation. You feel at home!👍🌞🥰

02/06/2025: A unique experience to share. The restaurant is located on the ridge of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines that divides the rainwater between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Adriatic Sea, and is also 6 km from the sources of the Reno River. This watershed runs for many km in the Tuscan territory, with the possibility of countless excursions. Near the restaurant there is a fountain made by Dalla Martini to celebrate the passage of the Giro d'Italia. It is up to you visitors to discover the rest of the story.

20/08/2025: It was probably a bad night in the kitchen, but waiting an hour to eat two inedible hamburgers with meat that had the consistency of cardboard, pici with charred meat and salty and burnt potatoes also no thanks.... if you want to eat decently go somewhere else

18/07/2025: Personally, I liked the pizza (even if it was a little burned), but the price was absolutely exorbitant, to say the least. We paid €37 for three pizzas: one with fries (€9), one with gorgonzola, walnuts, and prosciutto (€14), and another with the same thing, but with stracciatella instead of gorgonzola (€13). I'm sorry, because the delivery guy was very kind, and knowing the drive was long and uphill, I wanted to leave a small tip. I thought the pizzas would cost around €20-25, and I would have left €30, but the money I had prepared wasn't enough, so I had to use all the rest of my wallet. I'm sorry, but the prices are truly exorbitant.

23/08/2025: It's been a long time since I've been to David 2. We decided to stop for dinner on a warm summer evening. Air conditioning, few people, perfect food, and very friendly staff! We had our dog with us, and he was welcomed without a problem. Recommended!

03/07/2025: Excellent pizza, light and well-leavened dough, fresh and tasty ingredients. Welcoming place, friendly staff and fast service. The pizzas are a real surprise, with original combinations. Good value for money. Ideal for a dinner with friends or for a quiet evening. Tonight there was also karaoke with Micky Song. Many people wanted to sing. Highly recommended!

07/06/2025: We went for the first time tonight...a nice place with kind, friendly staff and quick to serve....the pizzas are fabulous and the focaccias are too....I highly recommend going.

17/08/2025: I discovered it thanks to some colleagues in Impruneta and loved it so much that I've taken family and friends there several times. The tagliata on a bed of lamb's lettuce and porcini mushrooms is amazing, the best I've ever had. The view is splendid, the location enchanting.

14/08/2025: Booked online, everything perfect. A table on the terrace, and despite the sweltering heat these days, it was comfortable. The mushroom pizza and marinara pizza were really good (the dough was exceptional). The staff, made up of very young men and women, were well-coordinated and served tables quickly and kindly. Excellent.
