01/06/2025: Beautiful rustic place, welcoming and spacious when I entered I had a good impression and I was not wrong, I celebrated the communion everything was good as agreed, I recommend it for quality price and service.

02/01/2026: Please note NEVER EAT here, rude and boring staff and bland food, very expensive beer and cola and then there is some strange service charge of 5 euros that no one knows what it is. NEVER again. The waiter wears tracksuits, the chef walks around with a baby in his arms, how nice/fresh it is. Cold in the whole restaurant and if the waiter could maybe smile a little and be nicer to the customers. As I said, never again. And then we have been told that they know who we are who have complained, don't know if it is a threat.

02/01/2026: Poor food and terrible cooking... I'm giving it one star just to write a review, otherwise I wouldn't even give it one. For €90 per person for New Year's Eve, everything should be impeccable!! From appetizers to dessert, they're unspeakable!!! It's a shame you ruined our New Year's Eve! If you hadn't booked, you'd have to cancel the event. We paid full price, even though one guest left everything because it was inedible! I advise tourists, especially those who are visiting, not to stop by and ask for information before booking! I've never had such a bad meal! I really hope they have the honesty to close the restaurant when they don't have the skills to feed their customers well! I strongly advise against it so you don't get ripped off! €90 per person for a traumatic experience!

20/12/2025: I recently ordered 4 pizzas for delivery. The pizzas arrived 1 hour and 15 minutes late. My pizza, which I'd carefully ordered and repeatedly phoned, was told to add deviled chips... and it ended up being just deviled... Needless to say, I've become the deviled one. A SERIOUS pizzeria... but there's nothing serious about it. I'm giving one star because I can't give any less.

08/03/2026: This evening I ordered 2.50 of three-flavor focaccia, 2 arancini and half a beer for 46 euros. The focaccia was really awful, especially the tomato puree used as a base.

27/02/2026: Terrible place! Terrible service! Absolutely! We had ordered rustici for 8:30 PM, it's a birthday. The rustici only arrived at 9:45 PM, despite numerous calls telling us "it's not our fault, we can't guarantee the time," "let's wait for the guy to come back," and other nonsense. More than an hour's delay is unacceptable! But it doesn't end there: they completely messed up the order. I repeated the order several times during the call so as not to cause any misunderstandings. Guess what? Completely wrong! Instead of 16 San Danieli, they brought us 20 pitoni, plus another 16 pitoni already on the order, for a total of 26 pitoni! And some arancini. What were we supposed to do with all those pitoni? I called and they told me there was a miscommunication between them...even though I repeated the order several times so as not to make any mistakes!!! I invited people for a birthday party and made a terrible impression. Never again Absolutely not recommended, terrible service and zero respect for the customer.

01/01/2026: Still, pretty good atmosphere and food, but if you meet the spectacled snake (one of the employees), just give up your expectations of any kind of service.

15/02/2026: Horrible, inedible pizzas....we order a Nutella pizza and they bring a pizza with gianduia or something similar that they pass off as Nutella...I point this out and am told that this product is better than Nutella...speechless...to avoid, I will never set foot in there again.....

01/02/2026: After canceling a pizza out of town due to adverse weather, we decided to head to this place as a group. After booking, I checked the reviews and found they were mostly negative. The space is spacious with a wooden structure and roof, and there are few customers (I think because of the cold and rain). There's a hot appetizer for everyone (there are nine of us) and a variety of pizzas with drinks, and a small pastry with coffee to finish. Overall, the appetizer is good, nothing to complain about, the pizzas are also average, especially the dough, topped with excellent and standard notes, while the pastry is truly superb. Last but not least, the prices are very affordable. Bottom line: never be biased; many reviews don't really reflect the experience.

27/08/2025: Five of us ate on the terrace near the statue in the square. The atmosphere was as you'd imagine, "bella vita" style. Only two tables were still free. We ate very, very well. Of all the meat dishes I've eaten in different countries, this was one of the best I've had, and for Sicily, it was the best so far. We had a large and small starter of fried potatoes with Parmigiano salsa, a mixed meat dish, a white pizza with four cheeses, a rib-eye steak, a vegetarian pizza, and a small Sicilian pizza, as well as five beers (three Moretti and two Stella Artois), a bottle of water, three Cokes, two cocktails, one Stretto coffee, and one Limoncello. It cost us €140, or €28 per person. If you're spending the evening in the center of old Racalmuto, I recommend this restaurant. The meat comes from their own butchery. It's an old-fashioned butchery where they choose the animals and cut them themselves. There's no pre-prepared meat, everything is done as needed, and the meat is always freshly prepared.

13/01/2026: Even though it's in a remote location, close to Mount Etna, it offers breathtaking panoramic views. Excellent traditional Sicilian food.

20/02/2026: For me, it's one of the best pizzas I've ever had... the price is very decent for the quality, the amount of toppings on the pizza is so large it was hard to lift it; the ingredients are fresh and tasty; the service is friendly and very efficient; we waited maybe 6 minutes for the pizza. It's a typical takeaway, so if you want a tasty, quick meal without having to settle for a glass of wine, this place is definitely for you. Best regards, Marco!

24/01/2026: I ordered a marinara and a Roman pizza to take out. When I got home, I unpacked the pizzas and found two burnt pizzas, and the marinara was without garlic. When an ingredient is missing, you shouldn't pretend it's not happening; all you had to do was mention it and I would have ordered something else. As for the rest, burnt pizzas aren't delivered to customers; they're set aside and remade from scratch. A lapse in concentration can happen, but you can't just turn your head away; a true professional wouldn't do that. Absolutely no attention to the customer. I don't think I'll be back, at least not on a Saturday night!

16/10/2025: Overall the room could be in better condition, things are not maintained enough therefore it's a bit disappointing when you look at the room, the price you pay, and the potential of the place. Indeed, the place is overall nice, people are welcoming and breakfast is good...

15/10/2025: This hotel is very pleasant, quiet, and the staff is good and friendly. Chef Jerry is super talented; the food is excellent, and the desserts for breakfast are delicious, homemade. 😋 I recommend staying here. Betty, Ketty, Carlo, Daniele

21/12/2025: Finally, fair prices and really good food. Excellent pizza, a must-order for anyone who lives nearby—in my opinion, the best!

14/12/2025: During our city tour, we had 90 minutes of free time. We stopped here because our meeting point was only a few meters away. We had delicious pasta and a very good salad. Service was relatively quick, but with so many people, another server would have been helpful. This is how pasta should taste!

04/11/2025: Wonderful location, with a view of the Ortigia Cathedral next door. But the food was awful: pasta cooked incorrectly, and the toppings were frozen and not properly defrosted (the pasta arrived cold). It's a shame because the place is so worth it.
