09/06/2026: Nothing to say about the food, everything was very good, we didn't get along well with the staff, we paid and as soon as we left there, looking at the receipt given the high price paid we noticed that the drinks were written X2 times

Limited drink selection...they don't have Coke Zero or even lemon wedges for the panelle, but the sandwich is delicious.

05/07/2026: I've given second chances too many times, but what can I say? We're always there; pizzas 🍕 that taste of oil and remind me of the kebab pizzas at Thor Pignatta in Rome. Any pizzeria is better than this one in Caltagirone. Choose something else and you won't go wrong.
12/06/2026: When my local pizzeria is closed, I go wherever I can, but I've often gone to HappyDays! I have to say, the pizza used to be good, but now it's a little less so! The prices, however, are good compared to other pizzerias!

25/04/2026: We've been coming to Nuova Quercia for many years, and the food is always delicious. We usually order the pizza, which is delicious. Tonight we ordered the fillet steak and mushrooms, and everything was truly delicious.

14/02/2026: I arrive at 8:55 PM, and they come to the table to order at 9:45 PM after I've called them repeatedly. I order a pizzolo with chicken at 9:45 PM, but they arrive while the pizzas are being served at 11 PM, saying the chicken is out of stock. I quickly choose another one, which still hasn't arrived after half an hour. Everyone's finished eating, and I'm not even hungry anymore. Shame on you. Don't go.

The food was damn bad
I could have done better
Lousy mussels, filled with stones and sand
Pasta not al dente, but rock hard
Beef steak was impossible to chew, impossible to swallow, really badly made
Service as if they were robots
No idea about waiters
The chef has no idea about cooking
Simply terrible, never again and I advise everyone not to go there. Find something on the main street instead. You won't be happy in this place.

20/08/2026: Frozen chips placed on the pizza and baked (and left raw), same in the marinara... Frozen fish on the pizza, which doesn't even get cooked... It leaks and makes a mess that not even the worst pizza chef would make. The dough is nothing like pizza, neither soft nor fragrant. Luckily we were just passing through and we'll never be back...
10/08/2026: We ordered two Neapolitan Marinara pizzas, very simple tomato, garlic, and basil pizzas. They turned out to be frozen pizza from a discount store, and on top of that, we were sick for two days. The tomato sauce was very sweet, the dough was dry and overcooked, with not even a hint of crust, and the basil was torn to make less. The worst part was the garlic powder instead of fresh, 7 euros each.
It's a shame, because then you'll never go back.

26/08/2026: A very disappointing experience. We ordered pasta with mussels and fried calamari: the pasta was clearly made with frozen mussels, which was quite disappointing considering we were in a seaside town, while the fried calamari was truly awful, heavy, and poorly made—one of the worst we've ever had.
The service was average, even though we were practically the only customers and the dishes still arrived several minutes apart. Prices were average, but honestly, given the quality of the food, it wasn't worth it. I wouldn't go back.
26/08/2026: A disgrace to Italian cuisine! Even supermarket pizza is better. The deli meats are practically hanging out of their packaging. In short, it's disgusting! I was drawn in by the ambiance, don't make that mistake!

04/04/2026: The prices on the menu didn't match those on the receipt, resulting in a significant increase. The drink prices weren't listed; you had to guess, as were the pizza prices. Frozen items, well, that's fine.

15/05/2026: The bakery offers delicious food, excellent quality, but I had an unpleasant experience because I had specifically asked for a sandwich without oil and salt. When the woman at the counter gave it to me, it was clear it had been seasoned. When I asked if it had been seasoned, she replied, "I don't know, I didn't do it," without giving me any positive feedback. I've already bought the sandwich for lunch because it would have been a waste to have it remade, but I have an intolerance and had to go elsewhere for lunch.

15/06/2026: After almost two hours of waiting, we're still waiting for our second course. We're really ... The staff isn't up to the task of managing the two dining rooms, one of which is indoors. Some people sitting near our table stayed away, annoyed that they hadn't even had an appetizer. We left after three hours. We ordered a set menu for two, €35.
When we went to pay, the cashier added a €2 cover charge since we'd only ordered one menu.
I'm completely dissatisfied.

08/06/2026: Now called Terraferma, it offers excellent pizzas and attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. The outdoor garden is welcoming and well-maintained.
We'll be back!
20/05/2026: Unfortunately, we didn't make it. We had a reservation. They seated us between two First Communions 🤦♀️ and forgot about us. We probably waited about 20 minutes for anyone to even pay attention to us, but the First Communions were more important. I don't recommend it! I can't rate the food because we didn't get a chance to try it. We left. The atmosphere wasn't exactly Sicilian either.

14/08/2026: On the doorstep: open only for lunch from August 12th to 23rd. Friday, August 14th, 1 pm, restaurant closed... It's impossible to eat anywhere else in town for lunch. We fled the village.
