11/07/2026: The owner is friendly and occasionally charming. Very attentive and serious about his work. He does everything himself; I don't see many people who work alone...rolls out the dough, bakes it, and adds the seasoning. For example, he always fries the pizzas and fries himself. I'm the one who prefers to always work with someone, which, all things considered, isn't bad.

12/08/2026: Pizzeria/restaurant immersed in a magical atmosphere. Very friendly waiters, fast service (despite the limited seating), and delicious seafood. We recommend trying the off-menu dishes, like the Tonnina pizza—it's amazing! P.S.: Reservations are highly recommended.

29/05/2026: We had dinner this evening at La Trota, and overall, the experience was excellent. Starting with the food, both my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the tagliolini and carbonara. We also had the opportunity to try three appetizers (bruschetta with dried and grated trout, trout carpaccio, and hot-smoked trout with mayonnaise). The appetizers were excellent. The gin and juniper-marinated carpaccio is highly recommended. We finished with trout in Saor, which was slightly too salty (personal opinion), but the combination of trout, onion, raisins, and pine nuts really impressed me. The dessert was also good, as was the carob and persimmon combination. The location is charming; you eat in a cave. A special thanks to Corrado for his kindness and exceptional attention to service, and, of course, for the appetizer samples. Unfortunately, we live quite far away, but we'll try to return. Considering the quality of the ingredients and the sophisticated pairings, the price for dinner was very fair.

21/07/2026: We ordered three pizzas through Glovo: a Margherita, a Bufalina, and a Bomba. Instead of the Bomba, we actually received a pizza with different ingredients than those listed on the menu. This may seem like a trivial matter, but it's not, because unfortunately, some people suffer from food allergies, and a small mistake could cause serious problems. Furthermore, we had selected the cutlery option, a request that was naturally ignored. Two portions of terrible French fries. In short, a huge disappointment.

20/07/2026: The food was absolutely amazing! We got a pizza and a focaccia...they were both delicious! The atmosphere is basically the locals sitting around a few tables which is great if you want to experience something different to all the touristic stuff. The prices were super cheap, the food along with a beer were 15 euros and we couldn't finish the food!! All in all perfect!

21/04/2026: We’ve been to this restaurant four times in a row for dinner, and it’s been the best decision. The ingredients are always fresh, there’s a different daily special every day, and the waiter who served us could answer all our questions and even recommend places to visit as a tourist. If we ever go back to Sicily I’m sure we’re gonna visit this place again.

11/08/2026: A quick stop at this bar up on the hill with a beautiful view of Tormine and the little square of Castellmola. The waitress was very friendly and pleasant. We ordered granitas and they were absolutely amazing. Special mention for the peach granita – a real treat!
