23/08/2026: Good pizza. For a takeout pizzeria, the location was quite basic, but overall everything was fine. The ingredients were excellent!

12/08/2026: Good food - we had the pizza. The price-to-quality ratio was okay. A very atmospheric place. We tried the desserts and wouldn't recommend them. They were okay, but nothing extraordinary. You can get much tastier parfait or tiramisu anywhere in Modica or Noto. The waiters were polite but busy. We waited about 20 minutes for the pizza. Like almost everywhere, the English was a 2 on a scale of 1 to 5, so it's best to use a translator :-) or learn Italian.

11/08/2026: For having brought us Manirico Poidofede, also known as Manipoido Ricofede or even Piedipoido Fedepiedi, is very very Sicilian good.

25/08/2026: I had a fantastic pizza. It was delicious. Cooked just the way I like it, without burning. I'll be back again. I gave it three stars for the service, not because of the extremely friendly staff, but simply because I don't really like placemats. I find them unhygienic. I also hate seeing my glass upside down. Luckily, that hasn't happened at this place because they use glasses. If they used disposable tablecloths, it would be perfect.

18/08/2026: I chose Pizzoleria because I was hoping for the best. I just made a bad impression on the guests. The pizzas arrived cold, as did the fried foods. And the fries were really poor quality. I'm sorry, but never again 😤😡🙁

28/06/2026: The fries served with the burgers were worth throwing away: they tasted stale. I ordered a sfincione pizza, and for the modest sum of €12, I got the equivalent of half a pizza: I was left hungry. No one asked us how the dinner went. Could it be a coincidence that there were only four tables occupied? It's a shame because I've always advertised you, but now I wouldn't recommend you to anyone.

21/08/2026: Calamarata was frankly terrible for 22 euros; it looked like an apprentice cooking in a fancy, expensive seaside restaurant—a total tourist trap.

14/08/2026: The pizza was good and the wait time was excellent, but the service definitely needs improvement. The waitress came to take our order while straightening her shirt and chewing gum, which I found unprofessional. We had to ask for wine glasses, and they brought us plastic ones: I wasn't necessarily asking for a stem glass, but at least glass glasses would have been more appropriate. I also didn't find the "bianchina" pairing with mozzarella and mussels particularly good; in my opinion, it would have been better served with a pizza pane. Finally, they don't serve coffee; they only offer one type of amaro, which is served piping hot. Overall, the pizza was good and the wait time was excellent, but there are several aspects of the service and menu that could be improved.

10/07/2026: Everyone has different expectations, but I always find exactly what I expect after a day on the beach: easily accessible parking, clean restrooms, and exceptional food (we take always Bianchina and cozze - if I ever eat mussels, it's only here). The place has a minimalist style, but the fact that I’ve been coming back with my family for years—whenever we’re in the area—speaks for itself.

05/05/2026: A truly enjoyable evening at Giarra. A welcoming and informal place, friendly staff, and fast service. I had the pizza with prosciutto, arugula, and shaved parmesan: light, well-leavened dough, a soft, crispy crust. The focaccia with spleen was also a pleasant surprise: flavorful, soft, and well-seasoned. Fair prices and generous portions. I recommend it for a dinner with friends, pizza, and local specialties. I'll gladly return next time I'm in Alessandria della Rocca.

28/08/2026: Welcoming place, excellent and very helpful service, and exceptionally cooked food. Today I had lunch with delicious vegetable couscous and lasagna alla bolognese, everything delicious.

27/08/2026: I'm giving it two stars because the pizza is the best thing they make there. The rest of the food is all from days ago, frozen, and cooked terribly to the point of finding raw food... so not worth going back to. A little tip: try it before you leave... And put it on sale... I'll be back to try it if you listened. 😊

30/03/2026: The pesto gnocchi and lasagna were excellent. Fun atmosphere, can sit inside or out. The servers were fast abd friendly.

19/02/2026: Negative home delivery service, I waited an hour for half a chicken, and took the order when there was still no one there, you have lost a customer, it is not the first time they have been late, and if I had not called, I would still have waited, NEVER AGAIN

09/06/2026: The food is good, but unfortunately the location suffers from its labyrinthine layout. To eat the pizza (which is excellent, by the way) you need to be incredibly patient, as it takes a long time, given the amount of work they have to do. The fact that the place was packed (and they also do a lot of takeout) confirmed to us that it was worth the wait. They also accommodated us by delivering the pasta dish with the pizzas (I assure you, this isn't always a given in very crowded places on a Saturday night). Overall, the feedback was positive. I recommend it.

25/05/2026: Food was great. Had the mussels, pasta with sardines and fennel, seared tuna. Each was perfectly cooked and well plated. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Spoke perfect English. Prices were very reasonable. Would recommend

31/05/2026: Was here with a big group to celebrate a birthday party. The pizza's we ordered was amazing, we had a large selection. The service was super! And our waitress was so nice and friendly. She also told some nice stories which made the atmosphere very homey. This is a great restaurant to visit for a special day celebrate! Thanks for great food and amazing service!
