31/03/2025: We stayed in central Sicily for a couple of days and drove Valguarnera Caropepe. We wanted to try the local pizza for dinner and Il Peperoncino was the most top rated on Google Maps. At first we were hesitant about entering the restaurant because it doesn’t look appealing from the outside. But it was TOTALLY worth it! We had 2 pizzas, a glass of red wine, one beer and one large still bottle of still water for a total of €27. We will definitely visit again! 👏👏

22/07/2025: The location is certainly privileged because it's adjacent to a busy beach, and the prices are certainly not in line with local standards. Therefore, they could afford to use excellent ingredients. But no, even if cooked properly, the inadequacy of the ingredients is evident.

18/07/2025: We had dinner at this lovely restaurant near the sea, but it's in the parking lot, with constant traffic, which wasn't pleasant for us since we were outside on the road. Excellent value for money and generous portions. The only downside was the service, which, despite the restaurant being half empty, made us wait over 75 minutes for spaghetti allo scoglio.

21/06/2025: To say excellent is to say the least!!! Too bad you can't give more than 5 stars. I would start with the people and the owners...excellent service, fast and friendly. I had a medium-rare cut of meat, truly exceptional, as they say "it melted in your mouth". The pizza and fish were also exceptional, which I had the pleasure of tasting on several occasions. Would I recommend it to you? With my eyes closed.

19/06/2025: Unfortunately, we didn't feel so comfortable at dinner. The terrace is super nice, but the service was a bit chaotic, and the food unfortunately fell short of expectations. It wasn't a big deal, but the bacon was soft, not crispy as advertised; the steak had many inedible pieces on it, and the pasta was very al dente. Dessert was supposed to be ice cream for the kids, but the employee unfortunately made no effort to explain what was in the flavor, which we couldn't imagine (our Italian is good enough to understand it in Italian – if someone explained it...). Unfortunately, we wouldn't come back.

23/04/2025: Locale accogliente Personale molto gentile. Il ristorante fa parte dei circuito airc per cui c’è estrema attenzione e sicurezza per i celiaci: la pizza gluten free è impastata a mano e cotta in forno a parte e servita su piatto di colore diverso rispetto agli altri. Pizza buona.

05/06/2025: I have often taken take-away pizzas, average quality but the already high prices were further raised from one day to the next And not a little with a "touch-up" as I was told. These are commercial choices that influence and not a little on the future of a business. Wishing them "good luck" I will opt for other pizzerias from now on. A REGULAR CUSTOMER "LOST"!

01/08/2025: Etablissement met gevarieerde kaart met lekkere, verzorgde gerechten, met uitzicht op het centrale plein van Marina Di Modica. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Wij gingen er meerdere keren
