09/08/2026: The quality-price ratio is excellent, the pizza dough is good (a little soft for my taste) with a wide selection of flours, including gluten-free. The staff is fast and friendly.

15/08/2026: Today, on Ferragosto, we had a special menu. Everything was absolutely delicious. It couldn't have been better. There were antipasti with local mushrooms, two different pasta dishes (a dream!), the beef was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the dessert was divine. The waiters were incredibly friendly. The best restaurant I've visited in Sicily. A+! Even the welcome was so warm that I immediately felt at ease. A perfect day! 😍

19/07/2026: One of the best restaurants I've ever visited. The service is very professional and attentive. The view of Mount Etna is simply breathtaking, and the location is truly stunning. The quality of the food is excellent, with high-quality ingredients and dishes prepared with great care. The only downside is the value for money: the prices are a bit high, and the portions could be slightly larger. What I didn't quite understand, however, was the presence of aroma diffusers practically every few meters. The entire restaurant is filled with a very intense fragrance that completely covers the aroma of the dishes. In a restaurant of this caliber, I think you should be able to smell the wonderful aroma of the food, not that of an artificial perfume. Otherwise, everything was truly excellent. I would gladly return.

27/08/2026: A truly fantastic experience at Pesciolino d’Oro! 🐟✨ We ate fish, and what can I say about the quality? Simply top-notch! Super fresh fish, carefully prepared, and truly excellent. The service was superb, attentive, and professional. Even the desserts were top-notch! 😍 You can see that every detail is meticulously cared for, from the ambiance to the tables. And above all, you can sense one important thing: the customer is truly at the center, their true focus. If you're passing through, you absolutely must stop by! A restaurant truly worth a visit. Kudos to the entire staff! 👏

25/08/2026: The food quality was poor for the listed prices. The worst octopus I've ever had (which is my favorite food), hard, dry, and with a terrible bitter taste. No one asked if everything was okay, not even when I got the bill at the cashier, where I explained that the octopus was truly inedible and had in fact been left on my plate. Eventually, it was removed from the bill (€18) after a few attempts to convince me that local octopus has that consistency, but fortunately, that's not the case. I'm giving it 3 stars and not 2 only because they let us sit at 10 PM anyway, and the staff, despite being visibly exhausted, were friendly.

01/08/2026: Gluten free pizzas and pasta available - to start I had a gluten free focaccia loaded with fresh tomatoes; for main I had a gluten free spaghetti carbonara - the food was delicious! 4 stars given as we had to wait a little while for a table and when we did get one it was very cramped - in fairness we were a group of 6 and we didn’t pre book so in future we would book ahead. Lots of veggie options too and everyone in our group really enjoyed the food. I recommend the Etna Rosso red wine - very smooth and drinkable! We had complementary prosecco on arrival and I was given a separately packaged GF roll whilst the remainder of my group had fresh bread. Service was great and we would definitely recommend this place for coeliacs and those who are also dairy free and veggie / vegan!

22/07/2026: Simple but sincere place...the owner is wonderful and welcoming, always attentive to satisfy all requests. The dishes, from appetizers to desserts, are all authentic dishes with flavors of the past...the photos speak for themselves, the taste of the dishes is explosive.

03/08/2026: Unfortunately, our experience wasn't a positive one. The pasta was definitely overcooked, and the fried calamari was very tough, making it difficult to eat. The service was courteous, but the quality of the food didn't meet our expectations. I hope it was just an unfortunate evening and that the restaurant can improve these aspects.

14/08/2026: Located in the center of Catania, the restaurant is curious for its specialty meatballs of all flavors and even more, we have the meatballs in sauce in a composition of 5 excellent also fried in particular with citrus fruits were excellent if you want to eat something new I recommend it, the manager of the room very knowledgeable about the product

27/08/2026: I had lunch a few years ago at a graduation party, the menu and service were excellent. Tonight we had dinner outside for pizza with friends. The pizzas were very well presented, everyone enjoyed their pizzas. My wife and I had a Davide, a white pizza. I don't like sauce, so I chose a white pizza. It was really tasty, full of prosciutto and porcini mushrooms, excellent mozzarella. The waiter was very nice and cheerful, and the price was reasonable. The staff was excellent, drinks and table service were quite quick. Kudos to everyone. 👏👏👏👏

26/08/2026: NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE We literally waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for six pizzas!!! The service was terrible; we asked for drinks or napkins and were ignored. The pizzas arrived first for three of us, and then a quarter of an hour later for the other three! We ate half of our meal without drinks because the waiter forgot to bring them! Terrible service, terrible customer service! I wouldn't go back.

20/07/2026: We ordered two pizzas for €17.00, not even if they were complicated pizzas. Two simple pizzas that were pitiful, as thin as a piadina that didn't even reach your toenail. The only good thing was that the flavor was decent.

20/07/2026: 17 euros for two thin and burnt pizzas, rude and aggressive pizza chef with the staff, not recommended. I advise the owner to change pizza chef, unfortunately the pizzas were awful.
