15/03/2026: A truly delicious pizza by the slice! One thing we really liked is that they also make round pizzas (they also make oval and larger ones) for takeout, and they're delicious, with a crispy crust similar to that of pizza by the slice. We had a diavola and a salsiccia e friarelli, both truly excellent and flavorful. Fair prices, and very friendly and professional staff. We'll definitely be back!

02/04/2026: A place I'll definitely return to! I was here for lunch on Sunday and it was a truly excellent experience. I immediately appreciated the freshness of the ingredients: from the appetizer of seafood salad, crostini, and anchovies, to the first courses, such as spaghetti with mussels and spaghetti with octopus sauce, all prepared with great care and flavor. To finish, a simply delicious homemade tiramisu. The service was impeccable: Claudia and Simone make you feel welcomed and valued at every moment, with attention and professionalism. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and feel at home. I'll definitely be back to try the pizza too... I've been told it's unmissable!

19/03/2026: Unfortunately, our experience at La Stazione pizzeria wasn't exactly a great one. Four of us went on Saturday for dinner with a reservation. We arrived and immediately found a spot in the large parking lot right outside the pizzeria, directly adjacent to the train station. We entered the restaurant and were greeted by the waiter, a kind young man, who showed us to our table. I immediately noticed that in the middle of the entrance hall there was a small table where I believe the owner was keeping accounts and writing something down. However, I found the place welcoming with the heating on, since it was a bit chilly outside. We looked at the menu both a la carte and online, placed our order for appetizers, fried foods, and pizzas, and waited. Shortly afterward, the appetizers began to arrive, along with the fried foods and beers—unfortunately, I must say, the beer was of questionable quality, and the fried foods were completely greasy. The pizzas were nothing special; the dough was good but a bit heavy, and it was difficult to finish. The spicy pizza arrived with an EXTREME level of spiciness and a slightly chemical flavor, making it impossible to eat more than a slice. The evening ended with a VERY steep bill (about €33 per person for a pizza, a beer, and a few appetizers), which you can see from the photos. On the other hand, I found the bathrooms clean, albeit very retro, and the entire staff was friendly and helpful.

03/05/2026: Last night I had dinner with my husband and son. It wasn't the first time; the previous ones had always been good. Last night, however, my husband and I had the tagliata: aside from the meat, which for €29 was a paltry portion (but that's okay), the side dishes arrived after a quarter of an hour and after we asked for them. Upon leaving the restaurant, my husband had stomach pains, and during the night I had them too, making repeated trips to the bathroom. Luckily, our son had the pizza and is fine so far. We didn't eat anything else, so I can't help but think it's due to the food we ate.

13/06/2026: Regarding the food, I can say that the products are excellent: fried foods, bruschetta, and pizzas are of excellent quality. Another aspect that left us dissatisfied was another: twice, on two different evenings, we specifically requested that certain foods not be included. Despite the reassurances we received, these instructions were not respected. I believe it's important for the kitchen to pay more attention to the requests made by the dining room staff, because changes requested by guests almost always have a concrete reason and are rarely simply a whim. I should point out that these comments in no way concern the gluten-free management. Indeed, since the restaurant is certified for this service, I feel it's my duty to emphasize that this aspect is handled impeccably and deserves sincere praise. We will definitely be returning a third time. However, after two identical incidents, we hope the famous proverb "there's no two without three" doesn't come true this time.

02/06/2026: This restaurant is located in the center of Subiaco. I think it's really difficult to define it in just a few words. The vintage English-style atmosphere in the first room feels like being in the living room of a truly beautiful home. There are two other rooms, one large and very beautiful with bright colors and a smaller one also decorated in a vintage style. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the owner is very kind, and the food is excellent, with dishes revisited in a harmonious and exquisite way. The bill is reasonable. My compliments, truly. I could feel the passion for their work.

Fast service, friendly and always smiling staff, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Excellent value for money and generous portions. I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants a truly well-made pizza!
