25/09/2025: A welcoming restaurant in the heart of the historic center. Refined and intimate atmosphere. Delicious food where the chef's skill meets quality ingredients. The Russian salad served as a welcome appetizer is nothing short of a masterpiece! Highly recommended!

The presentation of the dishes is impeccable, and the menu is thoughtful without being excessively expensive. However, I found the food a bit overly flavorful, which undermines the quality and flavors of the individual ingredients. The wine list is varied.

12/10/2025: A gem among the rice fields of Vercelli. At Locanda dell'Orso, you come for the food, but you stay for the atmosphere: familiar, well-kept, authentic. The kind of place that makes you feel like a guest, not a customer. The fried porcini mushrooms are exceptional: crispy on the outside, plump on the inside, served with a simplicity that leaves room for flavor. The breading is tasty but not overpowering, respecting and enhancing the mushrooms. The risotto is perfectly creamed, cooked al dente, and has a fragrance that anticipates the flavor. The staff is kind and attentive, with the courtesy born from a love for their work. The outdoor terrace is a little corner of rustic paradise, with a small herb garden that fills the air with fragrant scents. We found the mint and sage that enhanced our sorbets here. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone passing through the area.

06/10/2025: Saturday family lunch, we had a large table. I didn't have time to take photos of all the courses because there were so many at such a fast pace. It felt like we were eating a wedding banquet in two and a half hours—far too fast, one course after another. I really enjoyed some things, like the appetizers, the boiled meat, and the white lasagna. The desserts were also varied, and the staff were friendly, but unfortunately, in the rush, something slipped up, like not clearing away the dirty plate or putting out new silverware. The price was competitive; all that food and drinks were €30 per person. The place could use a complete overhaul.

14/09/2025: A beautiful place to relax in the mountains, whether you're hiking or simply taking a cable car that takes you to the refuge in about 10 minutes. You can also book tents and cabins.

02/10/2025: We had dinner there this summer and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service impeccable, and the quality of the food and wine was excellent. A delightful experience that will have us returning soon!

30/10/2025: An Irish-style pub that exudes warmth as soon as you enter. Every corner is decorated with extreme originality, inviting you to browse and appreciate the historical and cultural references, including Italian ones. The food is amazing—the best barbecue I've ever had—and we relax whenever we can. Very reasonable prices. As for the beers, there's a wide selection, as befits a real pub. The staff is very friendly.

30/09/2025: A unique atmosphere, it feels like being up north! The staff is extremely kind and attentive to what they serve and what their customers prefer. They remember their customers and offer their preferences; this, in my opinion, is the difference between this great pub! 😉 I love pie!!! .....even when it's hot! Highly recommended! Well done.
