24/08/2024: We had lunch in this refuge located in a beautiful Walser village above Alagna after a walk of an hour and a quarter. Very friendly and smiling staff, fast service, excellent dishes, reasonable prices. We had a polenta concia, a polenta with stew, half a liter of red wine, 2 strudels and two coffees, 46 euros. I recommend booking but they will always find a place for you....

14/08/2024: Family atmosphere, clean rooms, beautiful place and the structure is beautiful

10/12/2024: I spent 4 days there, sleeping in their rooms and having dinner at the restaurant. It is a place for truck drivers and therefore you cannot want the luxury of a 5 star but the rooms are functional, spotlessly clean and with a private bathroom, the dinner in relation to the quality and choice (there are really many dishes to choose from) is very cheap (hauler price 🙂), the staff is kind and very efficient. If it were possible I would give them 10 stars, these guys know how to do their job really well.

25/11/2024: We were looking for a place near the motorway exit for a lunch break and we opted for this one due to the location. Excellent choice. Ample parking and as always where there are trucks parked you can eat well. Excellent hospitality and service with fixed menus with a wide choice of meat and fish with water and wine. More than excellent and plentiful food served quickly and with kindness. Too bad I'm not from the area. I recommend trying it.

28/10/2024: Sono venuto qui a fare una pranzo di famiglia di domenica, che dire.. Locale semplice e menu che varai da portate tradizionali locali al classico composto da carne e pesce. Si è mangiato bene con buoni risotti, però nulla che mi faccia dire: “ci vorrei ritornare”. Ci sarebbe anche la possibilità di fare la scelta di mangiare con un menu fisso. Prezzi abbastanza nella media.

25/07/2024: I'm talking about the restaurant What can I say, they managed our table of 20 people with correct manners and timing and without making mistakes. It's not for everyone although it seems obvious. The ragù was excellent and plentiful. Portions statistically perhaps too generous. Good coffee too, I would go back. Spacious parking. I didn't understand the double style of table setting

04/12/2024: Locale molto accogliente anche se un po' nascosto. Carina la veranda esterna e servizio curato con camerieri preparati. Piatti tipicamente piemontesi cucinati con molta attenzione e ingredienti di altissima qualità. Ampia scelta di carne da tutto il mondo,anche se bisogna fare attenzione ai piatti incandescenti che però aiutano a mantenere le pietanze calde. Vasta scelta di vini piemontesi e non. Ideale a chi vuol mangiar bene senza curarsi troppo del conto. Prezzi comunque in linea per il servizio reso. Consigliato soprattutto per le occasioni speciali.

25/02/2024: C'è molto di meglio a pochi metri. Prezzi decisamente troppo alti data la location. Se non avete niente di meglio da fare da visitare e avete voglia di spendere un capitale per ciò che mangiate è il posto per voi. Enjoy ;) !

10/08/2024: Typical and very welcoming place, with friendly and efficient staff and a very interesting menu to be enjoyed, in a family and typically mountain environment. We come to Carcoforo in a camper 1/2 times a year and Fragalla is a fixed stop.

02/08/2024: We were there last year and returned last week July 26th 24th. I tried the good shot but personally I prefer the crunchiness of the excellent miacce. Polenta with ragù and cheese perfect!!!. The homemade desserts are also good but when it's very hot if there was space to keep ice creams and semifreddos.....Congratulations for the service: fast and very kind!!! We didn't save on eating and drinking and spent 31 euros each. We will definitely be back

14/12/2024: Ho avuto il piacere di cenare presso il ristorante Giardinetto di Vercelli, e non posso che consigliarlo caldamente. Il locale è un gioiello: elegante, accogliente e con un’atmosfera che fa sentire subito a casa. Il personale è cortese, attento e contribuisce a rendere l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Per quanto riguarda il menù, ogni piatto è curato nei minimi dettagli. Ho iniziato con un vitello tonnato accompagnato da una deliziosa insalata russa, un abbinamento che ha saputo conquistarmi. Come secondo, ho optato per un tonno fresco scottato, scelto fuori menù, che si è rivelato una scelta vincente: sapore delicato e cottura perfetta. Per concludere in bellezza, ho gustato una bavarese alla banana con cioccolato, un dessert semplicemente spettacolare, capace di soddisfare anche i palati più esigenti. Un’esperienza culinaria eccellente, in un ambiente che sa come coccolare i suoi ospiti. Tornerò sicuramente!

09/09/2024: Let's start from the fact that my husband and I had already been to the Convent in 2015 and it was love at first sight, we were engaged and we immediately dreamed of getting married there. And so, almost 10 years later, it was. Wonderful place a few km from home, it feels like being on a hill while still being close to the city. In fact, for our wedding all the guests were surprised and very happy to have had a wonderful party, thanks to all the staff, in particular Giulietta who was at my side throughout the year and complied with all my requests for the organization of the wedding. most important day of my life. People so unique and rare. Aperitif in the garden (cozy and with great attention to detail) delicious, dinner excellent and finally cutting of the cake in the wonderful garden lit up at night. A special thank you also to Fabio for his kindness and professionalism. I would like to do it all again, as a place I recommend it not only for the food (excellent and prepared with first choice ingredients) but also for the feeling of tranquility and joy it transmits, you will feel like you are with family.
