14/12/2025: Probably one of the worst experiences I've had in Italy. Mediocre food: we received burnt flan and Bunet. The panna cotta was disappointing, with a thick, hard gelatin layer. Terrible service and total disorganization. Too expensive for what you get. The chair was too uncomfortable for a service that lasted 2:30 hours. Avoid.

14/12/2025: I went to Trattoria Montonero with friends for a pre-Christmas dinner and was truly satisfied. The atmosphere was welcoming, perfect for an evening with friends. The menu offered several traditional local dishes. I particularly enjoyed the panissa, which I found truly excellent. The other dishes my friends ordered were also very popular, a sign of authentic and well-prepared cuisine. The staff was friendly and helpful, helping make the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely return to Trattoria Montonero and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic place to enjoy excellent local food.

02/11/2025: The restaurant is very tastefully decorated, with branches hanging on the walls and cutwork curtains. The food is delicious and very well presented. I recommend the pumpkin tart with toma fondue and primrose bread, lasagna with porcini mushrooms and toma, and tagliolini with black truffle.

15/01/2026: The meat was exquisite and perfectly grilled. We had two Angus fillets, one Irish and one Argentinian. Excellent. The Irish one in particular was delicious, very tender, with very fine fiber, good marbling, and very tasty. The wine list was very extensive. The service was efficient, the staff were helpful and friendly. The dessert was also good. The facilities were neat and clean. The quality/price ratio was also good. I absolutely recommend it to meat lovers.

01/03/2026: I ONLY HAD LUNCH "ON SUNDAY" AND THEY ALSO OFFERED ME THE MENU. VERY APPRECIATED PLACE, SOMEONE REMEMBERS THAT THERE ARE SOME WORKERS ON THE ROAD. VERY KIND STAFF. 06/03/2026: Review of the new management at the beginning of 2026. I think you can just as well close down, and I think if you continue like this, it will happen soon. The place was occupied only at our table: 2 out of 7 pizzas were wrong with missing ingredients (specified when ordering). For seven people, almost 15 minutes passed between the arrival of the first and the last pizza. Mediocre pizza, high prices for both the restaurant and the pizzeria (plus the €3 cover charge). Even the table that arrived after us had a lot of pizzas wrong, and they kept coming back. Bad, bad. Never again.

16/12/2025: Best meat in the area, excellent beers, and delicious sandwiches. The tiramisu is top notch.

09/03/2026: Italian Sports Naturist Association... On Saturday, March 7th, we went to the Ai Galli restaurant. There were 30 of us. We were hosted like a real family. We ate very well, everything was delicious, home-made food, excellent service, and the price was fair. I'd like to point out that I've already spoken to the owner about hosting other events with our association at the Ai Galli restaurant. I thank the chefs, waiters, and all the restaurant staff for making us feel at home. President Fabio Pizzato

05/02/2026: Amazing dinner. A menu that showcases Gattinara with beautiful food and wine. The waiter really looked after us, and was incredibly welcoming and hospitable.

06/02/2026: We went to this restaurant after booking a birthday aperitif well in advance. When we arrived (6:30 PM), the table was ready but not set, and it remained that way all evening. Nineteen of us shared an aperitif, eating directly from the platters with our hands... And it wasn't finger food, but fried foods and cured meats. At the end of the aperitif, we were supposed to bring a cake, which we had already communicated when booking. The cake was brought to us but then left on the table for over 40 minutes. After calling several times, we were first asked if we could cut it ourselves, and when we said "yes," it was taken to the kitchen and served several more minutes later (it was a fresh tart with custard and fruit). The price was normal, €297 for 19 people... The aperitif was good, but the service and staff needed to be reviewed, especially if you specify that it was a birthday.

02/02/2026: A colleague's birthday party, a lavish aperitif and everything was delicious, a nice place but poor service, a cocktail was served without knowing whether it was alcoholic or non-alcoholic, the waitress asked to taste it so if it was alcoholic she would take it away from the pregnant woman, who had already been served.

15/03/2026: A wonderful family evening at SOS Risto Pizza. We were impressed by the warm welcome and the impeccable cleanliness of the place. The service was very fast and very professional. Mauro, the owner, prepares truly delicious pizzas with an attention to detail that makes all the difference: the dough is light and the ingredients are top-quality. It's the ideal place for those looking for a pizza made with love by those who truly love leavened products.

05/03/2026: I recently moved to the province of Vercelli, and I've tried pizzas nearby that didn't satisfy me. Searching TripAdvisor, I noticed good reviews for SOS Risto Pizza. I wanted to confirm, and I can confirm, that I received a warm welcome in a functional, modern, and clean place, and a great pizza, well-leavened and easy to digest. Next week, I'll bring my friends. Fair prices, and I didn't pay a cover charge. Super satisfied. I've finally found my trusted pizzeria. Kudos to the waitress, Ana, and the master pizza chef, Mauro.
