We've been to Locanda del Bue Rosso in Vercelli several times, both with family and friends, and each time has been a confirmation. Coming from Varese, it's not a "passing" choice, but one of those places you'll gladly return to because you already know you'll have a great time. It's a restaurant where you immediately sense warmth, care, and passion. The owner is attentive and present in the right way, and the service is professional and precise. The quality of the products is high and it shows in the dishes: meticulous preparation, authentic flavors, and great attention to detail, from presentation to the selection of raw materials. The menu is very interesting for meat lovers, with hand-cut steaks and large cuts, but the first courses and appetizers are also worthy of note. The ambiance is one of its strong points. In the winter, the dining room is warm, elegant, and meticulously maintained, even more charming during the Christmas season. In the summer, however, eating outside under the gazebos is truly pleasant: tables set with simplicity and delicacy, in a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. It's a restaurant that has never disappointed us. At Bue Rosso, you eat well, you feel comfortable, and you always want to return, even if you travel a few extra kilometers.

A very characteristic and elegant restaurant with exposed brick walls. The welcome is warm and friendly. You'll immediately notice the large grill, open to the public and just a short distance from the tables, with highly effective extraction that doesn't release any odors into the dining room. A wide selection of select meats from Argentina, Ireland, and France, cooked to perfection. Unparalleled flavor and tenderness. A wide selection of other dishes. The giardiniera is wonderful. Excellent wine list. Meat lovers should stop here.

I dined at Locanda del Bue Rosso and immediately realized this wasn't your typical "passage" restaurant. Here, there's genuine attention to the ingredients, especially the meat, cooked with technique, respect, and top quality. Each dish arrives at your table with meticulous attention to detail, with bold, never boring flavors. The service is one of those details that make the difference: professional, attentive, competent, with the rare ability to make you feel welcome without being intrusive. The wine list is also beautiful, well-designed and perfect for pairing with the food. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and authentic. A place where you go to eat well... and end up wanting to return even before you've left the parking lot. Kudos to the entire staff.

Fabulous meat and excellent wines

I went last night for a last-minute dinner for two. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, even with the wine service, which isn't always easy to find. The appetizers were excellent, the first courses were good, and the hazelnut gelato was very good. We'll be back to try the grilled meat, which looked very inviting.

Colleagues and friends had been telling me about this restaurant for years, and last night I finally went for a romantic dinner with my wife. It exceeded all expectations! They welcomed us and served us divinely, and the dishes were exquisite and refined. The buffalo meat I ate melted in my mouth, and the tartare was divine, as was the vitello tonnato. The wines were excellent; we ordered a truly delicious Dolcetto Dogliani DOCG. Reading the wine list and looking at the bottles on display, they have a wide variety of quality wines. The desserts and bitters are exquisite, and at the end of the dinner I sipped a delicious Japanese whisky. It's a shame it's not around the corner; I traveled about 70 km, but it was worth it. Highly recommended.

The meat was exquisite and perfectly grilled. We had two Angus fillets, one Irish and one Argentinian. Excellent. The Irish one in particular was delicious, very tender, with very fine fiber, good marbling, and very tasty. The wine list was very extensive. The service was efficient, the staff were helpful and friendly. The dessert was also good. The facilities were neat and clean. The quality/price ratio was also good. I absolutely recommend it to meat lovers.
