04/07/2025: I've been there twice for dinner, and both times I ate very well. Beautiful setting with Italian music from the 70s and 80s playing in the background, kind and courteous staff, and above all exceptional dishes. In particular, in my opinion, the Argentine Angus fillet, cooked to perfection and very tender. I highly recommend it.

04/08/2025: Ovviamente il piatto forte a nostro giudizio è la gran grigliata di pesce. Porzione abbondante e pesce buono (nella grigliata c’è anche un fritto di pesce buono) sempre affollato conviene prenotare soprattutto nel weekend. Lista dei vini molto valida anche se il prezzo è un po’ alto.

02/08/2025: I knew Ciccio in Novara, but it closed in June of this year. I see Ciccio's in Caresanablot, same sign, same menu, so my husband and I decide to go get our "Cantabrian" pizza in the Vercelli area. As soon as we arrive, we realize it's not the same place. Aside from the much older atmosphere, the welcome is also decidedly different. The restaurant we entered is stuck in the '80s. A huge aquarium without fish or water dominates the entrance. Shelves with bottles for sale everywhere, some of them quite valuable, but not properly stored, complete with colorful fluorescent price tags, don't make the best impression. A style from another era. There are tables occupied, but it's not yet full. There's a person waiting at the empty reception desk. We wait. Waiters pass back and forth, no one asks us. The person I believe to be the owner arrives, greets the person in front of us in a friendly manner, and asks us what we'd like. I say, "I have a reservation for two..." He doesn't even wait for our name and motions for us to sit down. The waitress points to the table and disappears. We stay there looking around for over 15 minutes, with lots of staff milling around, passing us by, with and without dishes, nothing. The tables around it seem to have already all ordered. A waitress comes to bring us our menus. We politely ask if she'll bring us a drink in the meantime, as we're thirsty. We order a sparkling water and two panascés, and she brings us the water right away. After about 5 or 6 minutes, another waitress brings us the two beers and a bottle of water, which was already on the table. She takes the water away. Okay, nothing serious, just a small oversight. The menu, at first glance, is the same as in Novara, but a strange feeling comes over us. The "Cantabrica" we ate in Novara included pizza cooked at the table with a can of Cantabrian anchovies on the side. This was to maintain the quality of the anchovies. The dishes we saw being passed around at the adjacent tables, however, were nothing like what we saw in Novara, and the service was decidedly chaotic and less attentive. Furthermore, the owner rudely reprimanded an employee by raising her voice in the dining room. This was definitely not a pleasant experience. Tension was palpable, even though the staff at the tables tried to hide it. The waitress finally arrives, the third one, to take our orders; we ask if the pizza will be served the way we're used to eating it, and discover that no, here they cook the anchovies. "Yes, the menu is the same, but here they do it differently," was the response. We ask them to think about it for a moment and pick up the menu again. Another waiter arrives, and we order two different pizzas. The second waitress comes back to ask if we've ordered. Meanwhile, time passes, people arrive, and the place fills up. Lots of staff wandering between the tables, but they seem uncoordinated. Everyone's friendly, but they overlap or disappear. Hmm. The pizzas arrive, and they're good. It's a shame we couldn't enjoy the wait. We noticed service issues at the adjacent tables, too; dishes often didn't arrive at the same time, so one was eating while the other watched. We decide to leave. A couple is waiting at the register to pay, the counter still empty. We wait about ten minutes, exchanging jokes with the other couple. A waitress comes by and asks if we want something to pay for; we answer in unison. She says the owner will be arriving. He finally arrives, taking his time. We pay. The price is consistent with the menu. Conclusion: Good pizza, but not exceptional Poorly organized and timid service Ambience... well, in short Eating out is an experience. It's not enough to cook decently; there has to be a warm welcome, attentive service, and a smile. At Ciccio's in Novara, we found this; at Caresanablot, no. Above all, there has to be consistency. Given the same name and menu, I have to find the same things. Too bad, this experience wasn't satisfying.

29/04/2025: I came to eat with my family and I can say that I had a good time. The quality of the raw materials is excellent, in addition to the fixed menu you can also choose a menu of the day with the freshest seasonal products. The portions are generous so I suggest choosing an appetizer and a first course or an appetizer and a second course which are sufficient. The price of each course is around an average of 15 euros. I recommend.

25/04/2025: For my group of friends a very valid point of reference for an evening snack. Excellent beers, wonderful stuffed focaccias and an ice cream that you absolutely must try. Very kind and always available managers. A classic for the Vercelli area....! Highly recommended.

29/07/2025: Eravamo in 10 e, nonostante la sala fosse vuota, ci hanno messi in uno spazio scomodo e stretto. Nessuna carta dei vini, quindi si ordina alla cieca. Personale poco cordiale (forse giornata no) e tempi d’attesa assurdi: un’ora e mezza per un tagliere. Peccato.

22/06/2025: Ottimi prodotti, piatti curati e ben consigliati dal personale gentile e preparato. Posizione centrale ma in un angolo riservato e tranquillo.

16/06/2025: Domenica a pranzo, locale ben arredato, facile parcheggio, location tranquilla e silenziosa. Ottima scelta dal menù, con prodotti tipici ed impiattamento fine e ricercato. Personale accogliente e simpatico. Da ripetere sicuramente.

04/06/2025: Vado in genere una volta all'anno con un amico o compagnia. Il posto offre una bella vista sulla vallata e si mangia benissimo.

03/08/2025: We had two delicious meals at this charming, cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere. They serve a delicious hamburger with fresh fries, and the homemade tortello was also a hit. For dessert, we enjoyed a delicious tiramisu. In short, a must-try in Capalbio.

27/07/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant almost by chance during a trip to Capalbio, intrigued by the fact it was under new management. What can I say... what a wonderful surprise! The menu is simple yet thoughtful, with particular attention to the quality of the ingredients. We tried several dishes: tender and flavorful tagliata, generous and well-filled meat sandwiches, and a mixed antipasto that deserves a special mention—among the many options, the homemade sauces stood out, all delicious and unique. The restaurant is welcoming, informal, yet tasteful, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable: they passionately explained the origins of the meats and the various preparations. Highly recommended, whether for a dinner with friends or a gourmet stop on a trip. Finally, a new place in Capalbio we'll happily return to!

24/06/2025: Cozy and clean place. Lots of pizzas also at reasonable prices. The only flaw was the fried fish which was too salty. Quick and very courteous service. I was pleased to see that the cover charge is offered by the house.

Sempre buona la cucina in generale dove l'esperienza della chef Simonesi fa notare. Ottima tagliata e il galletto allo spiedo.. tra i dessert la meringata con zabaione un punto in più. Servizio preciso e cordiale. Prezzi in linea. CONSIGLIATO.....ma prenotate x tempo

17/06/2025: If you are looking for a lot of substance and few frills this is the right place. I was there for a Sunday lunch and I must say that we were super satisfied. It starts with a generous round of appetizers to continue with 3 first courses, lasagna panissa vercellese and ravioli, various second courses lemon sorbet to degrease, before the mixed fried Piedmontese and 3 desserts ... Red and white wine of the house limoncello and grappa at the end on the table as per tradition ... Very attentive service, punctual precise and professional. What can I say: a winning menu is not changed.

24/07/2025: We booked thanks to the advice of Mrs. Belvedere of Giardino Belvedere (highly recommended). And it lived up to the description. The food was excellent. Beautiful location. For adults and children alike. A playground where you can spend the afternoon with the kids. Dogs are also welcome. Excellent.

08/08/2025: Very good pizzeria and restaurant. Very competitive prices. Wood-fired pizza, which I personally love, generous first courses, and very good second courses. For lunch, there's a set menu during the week for €12, which I think is a great deal, thanks in part to the quality of the ingredients they use. Don't expect fresh fish, because at this price it wouldn't be possible. But it's very well cooked, so it's worth it anyway. Highly recommended.
