The food is superb: incredibly tender octopus, perfect cuttlefish. Several gluten-free dishes are available. I highly recommend it. Wow!

15/02/2026: February 14, 2024 More than a month has passed since our dinner. It was a lovely evening: excellent food, well-served, friendly and competent service, and a pleasant conversation with the chef at the end of the evening. The dinner had a fixed fish menu, which, from aperitif to appetizer to dessert, was impeccable with a fantastic balance of flavors. The request for a second main course was also greatly appreciated. I gave it 4 stars because, given the quality of the food, the impressive wine list, and the prices typical of a high-end restaurant, the location is stuck in the 1990s. At the very least, the bathrooms should be redone and the plastic doors replaced. Recommended. February 14, 2026 I can confirm the previous review to the letter.

08/05/2026: No stars, very poor reception at the hotel. Breakfast consisted of two bags of rusks for five guests and coffee in a poorly furnished room. The manager kept our suitcases until 11 pm without contacting anyone to retrieve them, even though he was supposed to arrange a taxi for our luggage. No welcome gift as promised in the response. And upon our arrival around 3 or 4 pm, there was no one at the hotel; we had to open the door remotely. Deplorable reception.

26/04/2026: We stayed here for a week during the Salone del Mobile and had a truly wonderful time. The place is beautiful, well-kept, and has a pleasant internal garden that makes the atmosphere even more welcoming. Special thanks to Matteo and Irene, the two waiters, who are extremely knowledgeable, especially about local wines and dishes, and are always ready to offer the best recommendations. Compliments to the chef, who every evening offered a limited number of dishes per course (2/3), but always carefully prepared, authentic, and truly excellent. Thanks also to Mario, the owner, for his warm welcome and hospitality. A truly positive experience, we will gladly return.

05/07/2026: 3 stars, no more. Despite the lovely place and location, the service needs updating: it takes at least 20 minutes to get a beer (even when there's very few people in the place). It's a shame, because the appetizer platter is also excellent, and, as mentioned, the location with the outdoor terrace is very nice!

05/07/2026: Excellent lunch, excellent service, very kind and knowledgeable staff. We signed up for the Vigneto Experience, and also had another pizza, two desserts, and a beer recommended for the pizza on the menu. We saw other meat and fish dishes and some really tasty burgers.

14/06/2026: I've been going for Saturday dinner at least once a month for years. Lately, I've noticed a price increase...which is understandable, and a reduction in portions. The place is adequate and clean. I must say, the pizza is a bit chewy in my opinion...never happened before. They'll definitely do it again.

09/06/2026: Welcoming, bright place, friendly, and fast staff. Excellent food; the carbonara pasta was delicious and well-cooked (I had water to drink). The coffee they make here is also excellent (without burning it, as I often get at other places). During the week, in addition to the à la carte dishes, you can choose from the daily menu (I haven't checked whether this menu is only available on weekdays). Very good value. Recommended.

We often combine our visits to Borgosesia with a dinner at “Moro,” where traditional Piedmontese dishes meet modern creations. Simply fantastic!

04/07/2026: I went to this restaurant for lunch today for the first time. I had a great time. The staff was friendly, fast, and professional. I tried the vegan pizza out of curiosity (and to try something different), and it was amazing! 😍 The tiramisu was also very good 😋 A place I recommend 🙂

The Interior: 1920s Charm What strikes you from the first moment is the extraordinary attention to detail in the interiors, in perfect 1920s style. The main hall features splendid decorated coffered ceilings, a large rustic fireplace that dominates the room, and period details meticulously crafted, such as the large vases of fresh flowers at the entrance and the decorative branches adorning the vaulted ceilings. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and imbued with a nostalgic sense of history. The gastronomic offering celebrates tradition with excellent dishes prepared with homemade ingredients. Among the dishes we tried, the following stand out: Homemade gnocchi, rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned. A second course of incredibly tender meat accompanied by golden, herb-scented baked potatoes. The dishes are simple yet carefully crafted, showcasing the freshness and authenticity of the local ingredients. The courtesy of the staff is undoubtedly noteworthy. The welcome is warm, attentive but never intrusive, a timeless service that perfectly complements the style of the establishment. Prices are absolutely average for the type of cuisine offered. A few euros more than usual are amply justified by the exceptional location and the unique atmosphere within the dining room. The verdict: Highly recommended for a Sunday lunch, a romantic dinner, or to escape the chaos of the city and retreat to an oasis of flavor and history. We'll definitely be back!

19/05/2026: A small restaurant in a quiet village. They offer a variety of tasting menus or à la carte. We ordered a trio of appetizers, the excellent and plentiful panissa vercellese, and finally the stewed rabbit. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful, and the wine was good. Reasonable prices, and parking was nearby.
