09/11/2025: We stopped here on Saturday evening on our way home from the Verona Horse Fair.
The owners welcomed us with kindness and friendliness. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent.
We'll be back soon.

12/11/2025: Dinner in a setting perfect for a pleasant chat with friends. The outside setting is romantic, with lots of fairy lights creating a blur amidst the darkness of the surrounding fields. Truly excellent food!

20/10/2025: After many years, we finally managed to taste a panissa like our grandmothers used to make, but not only that, many other traditional dishes, accompanied by good wines and the courtesy and friendliness of the owner (assisted by his mother in the dining room). Excellent value, definitely worth a try.

18/10/2025: A small but very cute place. The coffee is good. The custard-filled cannolini are delicious, filled on the spot. The rack where they hold the cannolini one by one, warm, before filling them, is quite unique.
A must-try.

I come to Vercelli once a year for the match, but they've already made me want to come more often. It will definitely be my regular stop to try other dishes that inspire me. Thanks to all the staff for their kindness.

18/10/2025: Beautiful mountain venue. Excellent cuisine, tasty, varied and well prepared dishes. The service is also good. Fair price. Book well in advance as it is always full.
16/10/2025: Excellent weekday lunch, a welcoming place, excellent and affordable (€14) for the lunch menu, which includes a first course, second course, side dish, coffee, and water or a quarter of wine.
Dessert +€4.
Definitely a lunch to repeat!!!!
Of course, the price will be different in the evening, but the quality is guaranteed.
Highly recommended.

13/09/2025: Adorable!!! And absolutely delicious food. I was on a driving from trip from Paris to Milan. An hour before reaching Milan we decided to find a place to have dinner. What good fortune that we came across this place. It’s a family operation from the cooking to the serving. Everything was delicious.
09/06/2025: There is nothing to say about this place, it goes beyond.
The customer is carried in the palm of a hand by all the staff, as well as welcomed and guided with delicacy and professionalism.
A fine menu, quality/price ratio above all expectations and an elegant location that does not make you feel uncomfortable.
In the Michelin guide for several years, but it has nothing less than many starred.

28/09/2025: A typical mountain restaurant, an elegant restaurant in a RIGHTLY rustic setting—we're in the mountains! The food was excellent, the service very professional and fast.
We ordered risotto, and it arrived in 15-20 minutes, although rice isn't quick to cook. Spectacular appetizers and a wide selection of wines, especially reds.

We just had lunch here, but it was great. Good soup and a very nice cheese/meat platter.
13/09/2025: The Barba Ferrero Refuge was a pleasant surprise, especially from its manager.
A helpfulness and kindness I've never encountered in the many refuges I've visited. We only stopped for lunch, but next time we'll try to stay a night. Highly recommended.

Perhaps I would have preferred the labels to be more relevant to what was on offer, but it was a truly enjoyable experience and one I'll definitely do again. Kudos to the owner who made us the sauce, as it was truly delicious and went well with everything.
04/10/2025: I celebrated my birthday here yesterday: the staff were super friendly and helpful, and they explained everything carefully. A new addition to Vercelli, highly recommended!

Upon entering, you'll see all the wines on display and other products for sale, then you'll reach the dining room, which is very well-maintained and welcoming. The food was truly excellent and high-quality, and the person who looked after us was very kind and helpful. The prices were in line with the quality of the products. Highly recommend!
