09/02/2025: After booking a few days before, today I went to this restaurant for the first time, me and my family. I would say the first one was good!!! Very pleasant and well organized place Excellent welcome, courteous and professional staff Delicious dishes, right portions, perfect combinations and truly expertly cooked, a joy for the palate. The raw products are truly something indescribable, the quality is very high. The place is easy to reach as it is very easy to find parking. What's more, it really deserves to be had for lunch or dinner. Highly recommended!

20/02/2025: By now, for our group, Balin has become a fixed stop and think... it manages to attract friends who come from Liguria, Lombardy and Piedmont "Saluzzo, Chieri" and all this can only happen for the chef's special risottos, in addition to the exceptional variety of sulumi ... We will definitely see each other again soon.

09/01/2025: Tried it after various recommendations, for a dinner with colleagues. Pleasantly impressed by the quality of the cuisine and service. Although it is in a difficult location to reach, it is absolutely worth going there. Highly recommended.

01/02/2025: For me, it's impossible to eat better in the area than here, simply complete from A to Z, everything taken care of down to the smallest detail, and well-educated staff. 05/01/2025: Locale molto bello, ci si immerge subito in un’atmosfera che trasuda montagna. Personale e servizio molto cortese e professionale. Cibo molto buono , l’unica pecca sono le porzioni di alcuni piatti a mio parere un po’ scarse. Consigliatissimo comunque 💫

04/01/2025: Un must per mangiare in Valsesia. Piatti semplici ma buonissimi con carni di lrima qualità. Persino il fritto misto merita un assaggio seppur siamo in mezzo alle montagne! Locale tipico e molto accogliente (soprattutto la sala superiore). Consigliata la prenotazione perchè nei weekend è quasi impossibile trovare posto.

28/01/2025: January 2025 Before starting the review I read other people's reviews, I start with the worst and then the best as usual, what can I say, there are some great characters. I've been going to the place occasionally for years, today I decided to write a review, it more than rightly deserves it. Fabio is a person who is not a restaurateur for work, but for passion and he behaves as such. He admits if he makes mistakes and is always open to discussion, unfortunately he has the misfortune that in an attempt to be a cook I bother him about some recipe. He has chosen a local cuisine that he interprets and cooks with passion, he is keen to drink well and therefore offers his customers a very varied wine list. When he has the time he willingly passes between the tables for a chat, with the risk of my harassment.

26/01/2025: We had never been here but it seemed like a nice place so we thought (badly) of organizing a birthday dinner with ten people. Fairly good food, not very generous portions, exaggerated prices. Example: a plate of panissa 17 euros (plus a three euro supplement because we asked to divide it into two plates) 4 euros per person, 30 euros to cut the cake that we brought (the cutting of the cake itself cost more), without asking us they made us find water on the table and charged it to us. When it was time to pay we were presented with a hand-scrawled invoice with the total and told us to make do on our own to divide the amount between us. After half an hour with the menu in hand trying to understand who had to pay what, we asked for separate accounts so they took the total and divided it by ten (so we were capable too) so we found ourselves with a bill of 45 euros each and someone had only consumed a first course and a glass of water. Some of us didn't have enough cash but the manager informed us that they had already deactivated the POS They definitely won't see us again, people like that deserve to close.

08/02/2025: Ristorantino piccolo ma meraviglioso. L'oste è una signora simpatica, ironica e competente, e il servizio è attentissimo. Menù vario e ottima varietà e qualità dei cibi. Pane e grissini vengono serviti caldi, il tutto rinfrescato da un'ottima bottiglia consigliata dalla padrona di casa. Consigliatissimo

15/09/2024: From the street it seemed smaller, but the place is nice and spacious and clean, the girl behind the counter is definitely very friendly and nice. I also drank excellent coffee, a good assortment of sweet and savory products.

29/01/2025: Il ristorante si trova in centro, a pochi passi dalla piazza principale di Crescentino. Pochi tavoli e servizio cordiale ed efficiente. C'è una ampia scelta di vini, essendo il locale anche una fornita enoteca. I piatti proposti sono molto buoni, curati e con una certa ricercatezza che riesce ad esaltare la bontà della materia prima utilizzata. Ottima la panissa al salto.
