13/09/2025: Adorable!!! And absolutely delicious food. I was on a driving from trip from Paris to Milan. An hour before reaching Milan we decided to find a place to have dinner. What good fortune that we came across this place. It’s a family operation from the cooking to the serving. Everything was delicious.

09/06/2025: There is nothing to say about this place, it goes beyond. The customer is carried in the palm of a hand by all the staff, as well as welcomed and guided with delicacy and professionalism. A fine menu, quality/price ratio above all expectations and an elegant location that does not make you feel uncomfortable. In the Michelin guide for several years, but it has nothing less than many starred.

28/09/2025: A typical mountain restaurant, an elegant restaurant in a RIGHTLY rustic setting—we're in the mountains! The food was excellent, the service very professional and fast. We ordered risotto, and it arrived in 15-20 minutes, although rice isn't quick to cook. Spectacular appetizers and a wide selection of wines, especially reds. FIVE STARS!

12/10/2025: A lovely restaurant. As soon as you enter, you pass a corridor filled with wines, jars of produce, and desserts. The ceiling and walls are decorated with care and imagination, perfectly in keeping with a wine bar. Good food, reasonable prices, and the owner is well-versed in wine, friendly, as are the rest of the staff. I recommend it.

13/09/2025: The Barba Ferrero Refuge was a pleasant surprise, especially from its manager. A helpfulness and kindness I've never encountered in the many refuges I've visited. We only stopped for lunch, but next time we'll try to stay a night. Highly recommended.

Perhaps I would have preferred the labels to be more relevant to what was on offer, but it was a truly enjoyable experience and one I'll definitely do again. 02/11/2025: A superb culinary experience, especially recommended for rice lovers. The venue is the former restaurant of the Hotel Cinzia in Vercelli. The location is rather unassuming, with a dining room that isn't particularly modern, but the atmosphere is decidedly relaxed and ideal for a lunch or dinner for two or with a few friends. The menu is varied and interesting, but needless to say, the specialty here is risotto in all its variations, crafted and cooked with extreme skill and respect for the ingredients. The menu is truly extensive and interesting. We opted for the three-course tasting menu, which fully satisfied our appetite, but for those with a sweet tooth, there's also the seven-course menu or the option of à la carte. I recommend trying at least one of the four canned risottos, each more exquisite than the last, with a special mention for the tailored coffee and parmesan cream risotto. The service is very attentive, although not particularly fast due to the lengthy preparation times (not suitable for those in a hurry). The bill is absolutely fair and in line with the quality of the dishes offered. The small pastries served with coffee are also highly appreciated. In short, the Costardi brothers confirm their position as masters of rice, in an area where excellence is the rule.

13/10/2025: We booked this restaurant on the recommendation of a local, as we were passing through and unfamiliar with the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff; our waiter in particular was delightful. The place was very busy, but managed in an orderly and non-chaotic manner, with fast service and delicious food. We chose the ham and cheese menu, not the pizza, and I must say that everything was perfect, cooked to perfection and with generous portions. A vast selection of desserts at a very reasonable price. The restaurant accepts small dogs, which may or may not be welcome. Recommended!
