06/12/2025: Food was delicious when we were there in May - we had pizza, pasta and some of the veggie specials. We ate here 4 times on our stay in Pallanza and felt lucky to have found a genuine, non touristy trattoria. Would recommend. Worth booking ahead.

Medium-large pizzas, crispy and thin crust, generous toppings with any ingredients you want. Always fresh ingredients, especially freshly sliced ​​cured meats and fresh mozzarella. I love you! 13/12/2025: November '25 We've been back many times this year, and I can confirm the positive comments I made in previous years, regarding the kindness, helpfulness, and speed of service from the owner Cinzia, her daughter Martina, and the waitress Larissa. The quality and price of the weekday lunch menu and the pizza... and the excellent cooking by the owner Stefano... BRAVI 👏👏 January '22 We happened to be in Suna-Verbania, and in the large lakefront square, we were drawn to this restaurant-bar with plenty of outdoor seating and tables. In the warm afternoon sun on a very breezy winter's day in January, we had a delicious pizza margherita made in an electric oven, a glass of Arneis white wine, a decaf coffee, and a vanilla-flavored tea for a total of €11.00, served outside by a kind young woman...Larissa. We returned several times in the following months and enjoyed other delicious dishes in addition to the pizzas, shown in the added photos. The fixed-price lunch menu was €11 (now €15.00 in 2025) and included a choice of two first courses and two second courses, along with a small bottle of mineral water. Everything was very well cooked, with excellent home cooking, especially the first courses and the Abruzzo lamb arrosticini. 😋😋 Fair prices and good quality in a quiet outdoor setting with a lake view. 👍 The restrooms need improvement.

09/12/2025: Located in the central Piazza Garibaldi, directly on the lake. Excellent for an aperitif, a pizza, or a lunch menu. Friendly service; plenty of outdoor seating, both under the trees and in the sun (with an umbrella), and indoors. Very good value.

18/10/2025: My experience at this place was terrible. I didn't like the place; it smells so old, with dirty mirrors, tables too high for the seating, the lady serving was rather unfriendly, but above all, the food I ordered: lasagna alla bolognese. I thought that since it was an osteria, they'd cook the lasagna well, with lots of béchamel and ragù, as is traditional. Instead, I received a plate that looked completely unappealing; it seemed covered in a dull film. When I cut the pasta with a fork, I realized that the bottom layer was hard, dry, and almost burnt. The lasagna was just pasta, without its trademark ingredients. I tried to eat some despite everything, but after a few forkfuls, I couldn't stand it anymore. The lady asked me if everything was okay, but I was honest and said I didn't like it at all. She saw the plate was almost full. Finally, my husband gets his coffee. It wasn't possible to have it diluted with hot milk because we had a milk frother. All we had to do was heat the milk in a saucepan. At the cashier, I expected not to have to pay for my dish in full; if she had been a lady, she wouldn't have charged for it at all. Instead, my uneaten lasagna cost me 16 euros!

18/09/2025: We had a 25 square meter room with a lake view. It was amazing. The furniture was a bit worn, but everything was super clean. We've rarely had such a clean room. We were there with our golden retriever. Breakfast was decent. The location is fantastic.

02/09/2025: Very pleasant and clean rooms ✅✅✅✅✅ with a breathtaking view. ✅✅✅ The bed was very comfortable ✅✅✅ (A small note: I would really appreciate a toilet paper holder and a shelf for shower amenities next time ;) .) Otherwise, I would highly recommend the Europalace. The staff were all very nice, extremely friendly, and accommodating. I would be happy to come back on my next visit to Lake Maggiore.
