21/06/2025: The food was amazing! Unfortunately we had the worst table and it was basically used as a service table. The empty plates and the bottles of all the other tables were constantly put on our table, while the other tables were served. So we had half eaten seafood plates on our table while we ate our courses.. delicious food, but when i pay 500 Euros for 2 people i expect something better.

15/08/2025: We ate here twice during our week stay in Verbania. With three people, the food and service was excellent. Fresh ingredients and tasty and good price. With large group, the service was not so great. Many in our party were done eating while others were still waiting for their plates. They cannot really accommodate a large group. Food is good for price.

27/06/2025: Eccellenti piadine artigianali, piadine fatte a mano. Con un piccolissimo sovrapprezzo di 50 centesimi c'è anche l'opzione con olio d'oliva, l'opzione sfogliata e l'opzione multicereali. Il titolare gentilissimo, prezzi molto onesti. Ogni volta che andiamo a Verbania o quelle zone diciamo che la sua piadina è d’obbligo!

05/08/2025: A well-deserved five stars. Don't expect anyone to speak a word of English, don't expect menus, but grab a presso fisso and enjoy. Delicious food, great atmosphere, easy parking, only Italian families, a singing waiter, and by far the best tiramisu in recent weeks: top-notch! And good to know: you can pay by card.

29/07/2025: Non è certo un ristorante da 5 stelle, ma non posso nemmeno dire di aver mangiato male. Le pietanze cinesi erano buone, la carne sulla spada anche, ho evitato il pesce e sopratutto il sushi, perché il pesce crudo o cotto che sia non mi fido a mangiarlo dove spendi poco. L’ananas ottimo! Non ci mangerei tutti i giorni, ma ogni tanto valutando bene cosa si mette nel piatto, si può fare…il personale è stato gentile e continuava a passare tra i tavoli con la carne sulla spada a chiedere se ne volevamo ancora.

19/07/2025: Classic Asian all-you-can-eat restaurant. Good value for money. Sushi was delicious. Everything else was average (not bad, actually). The highlight was the staff who walked from table to table with various games. All in all, quite okay.

18/07/2025: I've been going to them for five years. Every time I have a birthday, I get a tray of pastries to take to work, and I often get them on Saturday mornings, too. This morning, I went for breakfast. I ordered two pastries, and while they were preparing them, I asked for a latte macchiato at the counter. They asked me for a green pass, which I didn't have. I was asked to wait outside while they prepared them, otherwise I risked a €400 fine (though I could have gone inside to order the pastries to go). I politely left, waited for my pastries, latte macchiato, and the rest of the cash, and had breakfast outside in the 1°C temperature, but no problem. Dear Mr. Pinton, I understand that you want to respect the law and avoid fines, but this morning you treated me like a dog. I want to point out that your front door says "Green pass required for table service." Nowhere does it say it's also required at the counter. If when I return I don't see that this is also required at the counter, I will be sure to call the police and request a full review of the SARS-CoV-2 containment measures and procedures, as per your business's protocol. I don't watch TV, so how am I supposed to know what's prohibited and what's not if you don't indicate it anywhere? Obviously, you won't see me again; you're the only ones who lose out.

15/08/2025: Small restaurant/pizzeria with a lovely garden. We were very satisfied, with fair prices and unobtrusive service.

10/08/2025: We came to Pizzeria Sombreros on the recommendation of the owner of our vacation home, and we were not disappointed! The meal was delicious, the waitresses were very friendly, and the value for money was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend this restaurant! Remember to make a reservation, though, as it can be difficult to get a table during busy periods.

30/07/2025: La pizza veramente buona, location particolare, in una corte con giardino nel centro fi Pallanza, anche il dolce squisito. Ci torneremo.

19/07/2025: Abbiamo pranzato ieri, all aperto, tortiglioni alla norma e frittata di cipolle prezzo assolutamente ottimo per un pranzo veloce e un buonissimo tiramisù il tutto per€25 in due.
