20/02/2026: My wife and I visited this place during the week for dinner. Every aspect was taken care of, from the welcome to the farewell. The restaurant stands out for its attention to detail, and the cuisine clearly demonstrates a quest for balance. The quiet atmosphere, with discreet and pleasant musical accompaniment, helped make our dinner a relaxing experience. Highly recommended if you're looking for tranquility and quality. Finally, the prices are definitely commensurate with the quality of the food.

16/02/2026: We went out for dinner on a Sunday evening as a group of three, and it was good but not outstanding. Around €160 was a bit steep. The waiter was friendly but not professional, and the owner was rather underdressed in jeans and not particularly friendly either. The food seemed pre-prepared, which I don't expect at this price point. The antipasti was plentiful and tasty, but the main course with marinated raw prawns took some getting used to. You don't want to eat a large quantity of raw prawns as a main course. The dessert was definitely not a highlight and was just standard fare. I did appreciate the connection to the Valle d'Ossola. There were subtle references to the lake and the mountains in the menu.

23/02/2026: The two of us went there on a Saturday afternoon. We had a reservation for 12:30 at this unfamiliar place for a casual lunch. We arrived 10 minutes early, no problem, we were greeted and seated immediately. Excellent welcome, excellent food. Simple dishes, but the menu also offers more elaborate options, including traditional Ossola dishes, and even a few off-menu ones. What can I say? Generous portions, a very quiet place, and excellent food. The restaurant is an old renovated farmhouse away from the busy streets, with that old-world feel that I find magnificent. We ate really well, we were warmly welcomed. Everything was almost perfect. The only flaw, if I had to find one, was the service, which, while friendly, punctual, and pleasant, was a bit slow. Lunch took almost an hour and a half. Maybe it was a fluke, an unlucky day, but if it's always like this, it's good to know. You can relax and enjoy a good meal in peace. I'll definitely be back as soon as I can. Recommended.

03/03/2026: A must to go go place when in Verbania, better call for a reservation especially over the weekend. The menu offers a variety of well crafted dishes for all tastes and a wide selection of wine. The interior is decorated with personalized touches from the friendly owners and the outside patio is in a beautiful small piazza. Good for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner.

Spent some honey moon days after our wedding at Lago Maggiore and made this our „place to be“ for cozy moments just the two of us and also for laughing and joking with the staff.
