25/02/2024: Cucina tipica un po’ piemontese ma anche romana e lombarda, sempre con un gusto tradizionale, come a casa della nonna. Un piatto top? L’ottimo bollito portato in tavola direttamente in padella per mantenerlo caldo e morbido. Gustosi gli gnocchi alla valdostana, originali e delicati gli gnocchi con 5 pomodori diversi; da riprovare i plin con il sugo del brasato. Un luogo trovato per caso ma in cui ci ritorneremo per scelta! Da consigliare.

23/03/2024: We had a wonderful view of the small harbor and Isola Madre. The meal was excellent; the cuisine is extremely creative without being over-the-top. We ate soft potato gnocchi with a cheese sauce made with Aosta Valley cheese and black truffles. The trio from the lake, trout tartare with mountain blueberry sauce, corregone with lemony grated fruit puree and eel with sashimi and chutney was a real treat. The squab in a great sauce was excellent, as was the turbot with kale and truffle sauce. The sage sorbet and the meringue with rosemary extract - delicious, to put in. The same applies to the sorbet with meringue, a mousse made from American strawberries from a 100-year-old plant. An exceptional meal in a very pleasant atmosphere. The price is not cheap, but reasonable.

24/10/2023: Abbiamo pranzato in una bella giornata autunnale ancora tiepida sulla riva del lago prima di visitare Villa Taranto. Siamo riusciti a mangiare piatti semplici ma gustosi pur avendo dei limiti alimentari causati da intolleranza a ogni tipo di spezia. I tagliolini limone e code di gamberi erano veramente buoni, come pure gli altri piatti seguenti. La torta di mele appena sfornata aveva il gusto di quelle di una volta...veramente indimenticabile... una menzione speciale per il giovanissimo cameriere che ci ha guidato nella scelta dei piatti possibili per noi. Un ragazzo innamorato del suo lavoro! Molto gentile anche la proprietaria che ci ha rivelato l’origine della sua torta di mele.. una sosta davvero piacevole.

06/10/2023: Thankfully we discovered this restaurant on our last night It has a lovely outdoor area beside the lake and an inside restaurant and a beautiful terrace upstairs Service was the best ! Fantastic waitress who was friendly and helpful and her English was excellent The menu is great and the 6 of us were very happy with our pasta dishes , meat and fish dishes The starter board of meat and the cheese one were suberb Desserts are homemade and absolutely delicious Tiramisu and the hazelnut nut cake were divine Fantastic wine selection It is a 5 star restaurant in a 5 star location with 5 star food and 5 star staff
