A beautiful atmosphere in a remote place with a spartan but charming location. But ultimately, a place like any other with a sea view... Standard dishes at out-of-the-ordinary prices, with a generous surcharge for the location. I can't say I had a bad meal, but nothing special: sardine and polenta appetizer, scallops, prawns, three types of cod, boiled octopus, sardines in saor, stewed cuttlefish, water, wine (1L for 16 people), coffee -> €35

Everything was delicious, from the "saor" appetizer to the grilled fish. Well done. UPDATE: I'm back. The appetizer was excellent, and the spaghetti with clams was top-notch! Doubly good!! (And courteous!)

Interesting, it's very crowded, so it's recommended to reserve a table before coming. For this reason, service will inevitably be slow; you'll have to wait a bit longer. The mixed fried fish dish was good. (It's the first time I've tasted that kind of thin green asparagus.) An excellent restaurant after cycling a bit along the route.

We only stopped for a coffee break, but the place is definitely worth it! You can get there by bike to fully appreciate it all.

After a marvelous journey through the Venetian lagoon, amidst the magical contrasts of a blue sky reflected in the shallow water and the flight of herons, you arrive at this traditional and welcoming restaurant. The outdoor space is ideal for an aperitif or a quick stop, while inside you can enjoy the restaurant service. Simple yet delicious seafood appetizers, the freshness of which is truly unforgettable. The first courses are also delicious, as is the stewed cuttlefish for the main course. The location is nestled in a stunning setting, and a stroll around, after savoring the culinary delights, is a refreshing experience. Highly recommended.

Good, good, good! I loved it! Booked easily, we arrived, and the table was ready. Delicious and light fried food! Excellent cuttlefish! Excellent value for money! (Prosecco by the glass, very drinkable 😋)

We returned on Monday to eat at this beautiful little restaurant, and as always, we had a wonderful meal. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and cheerful...everything needed to make this place truly enjoyable. We highly recommend it.

03/02/2026: Very friendly and welcoming staff, with exquisite food. Their daily specials are particularly noteworthy, and they specialize in fish, although the noodles with ragu were delicious. You absolutely must try the tiramisu; it's a true delicacy, the best I've ever had. It has a unique creaminess (I didn't have time to take a picture).
25/01/2026: Huge recommendation for this family run restaurant. The mother is a chef, the son runs the service. Food is avsolutely fantastic. Italian but with little twists here and there. Lovely. Nice selection of wines. Fresh seafood. We had oysters to start with, flwd by selection of seafood plate, them we had this absolute star of the menu brilliant crab dumplings with botarga in miso soup and a classic homemade gnocchi with shrimps. If there is one suggestion how to get better, i would only say that the light in the restaurant is too bright for my taste. i would turn it down 25% because it would be more cozy atmosphere, but everything else is a 10 out of 10, and I rarely give 10. Well done!

18/04/2026: Update April 2026: Just back from another wonderful lunch at Do Torri. I've eaten there four times this trip. The baked fish with potatoes and tomatoes; gnocchi with crab; spaghetti with mussels and cherry tomatoes; and fried mixed seafood with polenta. The food is always good; the staff are friendly; the owner is kind; and I love Campo Santa Margherita. I hope to be in Venice again in October. If I am, I will be eating here.. Update, April 2025: I ate a late lunch here four times during my recent visit to Venice. With each of the meals, I started with the bruschetta. It's such a simple dish, but it's delicious. I had pasta with some sort of seafood every day. I love their house-made gnocchi. I've had it with scallops before, this year it was crab. I also had house-made pappardelle with shrimp and mushrooms; paccheri with crab and tomatoes; and tortelloni stuffed with seabass and tomatoes. Because I ate late (usually around 3 or 3:3), it was easy to get a table. I think there is indoor seating, but I've always eaten outside. Campo Santa Margherita is one of my favorite squares in Venice. I had the same waiter every time. By the third day, he knew that I'd be ordering a Cynar spritz, bruschetta and a bottle of still water. He and the rest of the staff were very friendly. I hope to be in Venice again in the fall, and this is where I'll be eating most of my meals. Original posting: I ate lunch twice at Do Torri. Both times I had the bruschetta--simple but delicious. The first day I had the "bigoli in salsa", bigoli (rather like thick spaghetti) with a sauce made of anchovies and onions. Although I've been to Venice many times, I'd never had this very typical dish before. Although I might not order it again, because I'm not crazy about anchovies, I did enjoy the meal. The second day I had a chef's special. It was potato gnocchi with scallops and some sort of light sauce. It was delicious. I would certainly have that again. I hope to be in Venice again next year. If so, I will want to sample more chef's specials from this restaurant.
