15/10/2025: TL;DR: It's fine for a night or two. Very convenient location by the sea and parking available. The rooms are a bit dated, but for the price (50 a night for two), it's more than adequate. The only downside is the shower in front of the toilet, but for the price, you're happy with it. Also, the breakfast buffet (included) was plentiful and of much higher quality than we expected given the price per night.

17/09/2025: The hotel is dated but clean. The breakfast is plentiful, both sweet and savory. The staff is very attentive to your every need. The price is fair considering that parking and the beach are included. It is also located near the square, and there are plenty of restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, and shops of all kinds to choose from.

18/02/2026: One of the most wonderful culinary experiences of our trip to Europe. Italian cuisine is incomparable, and enjoying it in an authentic Venetian restaurant is indescribable. They offer a multi-course menu with delicious dishes and wine included. Trying the seafood pasta, fish, and tiramisu was a delight. A truly enjoyable experience.

18/02/2026: Terrible service; the lady and the waiter had a very bad attitude towards the customers. Small portions, dirty bathrooms, and they seemed eager for you to eat and leave.

03/01/2026: The male Asian waiter was extremely rude, and surprisingly problematic and racist since he is also foreigner in Venice, I won’t waste any more time writing down what happened but I got up and left which I never in my life did before at any restaurant. It was just bizarre.

27/12/2025: When we entered, the place was empty, and there was an unpleasant fishy smell, and these were the first warning signs. We also noticed that the tiramisu and desserts were together in the fridge with the meat. We ordered two eggplant parmigiana and received two eggplants cut in half that had nothing to do with parmigiana: not even a hint of mozzarella, bland and watery, for €18 each. So after the appetizer, we ran away as fast as we could. The only positive note was the professional waiter, but the cuisine needs a complete overhaul!!!! (I've attached a photo of the "parmigiana")

30/12/2025: Very nice, intimate, and welcoming place! The owner is truly friendly and generous with advice. The fish appetizer was delicious, followed by squid in ink on a bed of excellent white polenta. Well done, we'll definitely remember and return!

20/11/2025: An intimate atmosphere, almost a secret treat, with traditional cuisine but with a contemporary feel. Family-run. The atmosphere makes for a serene yet elegant yet unpretentious treat. Even the staff are part of this special place, a hidden gem.

16/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. Be sure to order the sea bass, which is cut with your order and marinated in Champagne. Excellent service and delicious food. We'll definitely be back!

13/10/2025: Hostaria ai Do Farai doesn't live up to the descriptions in previous reviews. It was a real disappointment! They've probably changed management... Terrible service and food, poor quality and quantity. We ordered seafood, but there was very little shellfish and it was flavorless, and the spaghetti tasted like it was seasoned with butter! They even tried to cheat us by charging us for what we hadn't eaten! They quickly changed the bill when this was pointed out, without apology. I don't recommend it!

02/08/2025: Perfect location with a view. Delicate dishes and very cosy setting. Good wine also: pinot Grigio. Would surely come back !

30/07/2025: Porzioni minuscole e prezzi esorbitanti! Siamo andati via affamati. Come antipasto ci hanno servito due capesante e tre canestrelli, il tutto a 22 euro — e con la sabbia! I primi: spaghetti alle vongole, forse meno di 80 grammi di pasta. Esperienza deludente, assolutamente non consigliato

05/03/2026: Cappuccino and brioche 🥐 €7 at the counter, we're in one of the most beautiful squares in the world in a historic café. I think the brioche is the best I've ever eaten. At the service station you don't spend much less eating the frozen ones.

25/02/2026: Hot chocolate was good but classic (it wasn't thick), traditional decor, but minimal service: no explanation or smile, drinks were placed on the serving tray which was left on the table... for 4 times less the price, you can get a chocolate at the bar!

22/07/2025: Helt gjennomsiktig turistfelle.. Grei service, maten smakte godt, men entrecôten var 5mm tykk og godt gjennomstekt. En god entrecôte er 3 fingre tykk, og servere entrecôte under 2 fingre i tykkelse skulle være forbudt. Det er også helt unødvendig å spørre om du vil ha den medium stekt, når den er 5mm tykk. Den er uansett gjennomstekt når den treffer grillen.

20/07/2025: Sono stata nel 2022 pagato una follia 90€ antipasto due granseole e un filetto di branzino con una bottiglia di acqua naturale. Servizio lento e mal curato.

01/03/2026: One of the few restaurants run by Italians in Venice. They offer an à la carte menu and a set menu, which we ordered for €18 each. The dishes are well-cooked, and the owners are very friendly. It's just a few minutes' walk from St. Mark's Square.

08/02/2026: We went on the recommendation of the Marina guidebook. It's a bar where gondoliers, tour guides, and other locals eat. It has a very homey atmosphere, so you don't feel out of place. We went two days and ordered the set menu. It includes a starter, first and second courses, potatoes and salad, dessert, and a small glass of wine. Drinks and coffee are extra. We ordered spaghetti with clams and seafood rice as starters, and fried fish for our main courses. Everything is very good, but the portions are a bit small. Keep in mind that it's very well located, and you pay for that. The owner speaks Spanish, which makes things much easier.

21/06/2025: Location molto deludente e ci sono tantissimi moscerini. Si mangia da dio!! É tutto buono!! I gelati non buoni soprattutto il sorbetto che é amaro!!!!

13/06/2025: This is the kind of restaurant where the locals eat. It appeared the staff knew their diners and treated all guests respectfully. It was recommended to us by numerous locals for its truly great Italian food. We walked in when it opened and it was full within a half of an hour. It's off the beaten path in an alley but well worth it. The food was fantastic and the service was great.

07/09/2025: We've been to Bibione over 25 times now... For us, there are actually only three restaurants! Da Renzo is definitely one of them! Service is great! Prices are very reasonable! The quality of the food is consistently very good! Highly recommended!

04/09/2025: Child-friendly - off-limits. Children aren't allowed to touch anything. My son touched a chain, which caused a stall sign to wobble. It didn't fall over or break. The owner screamed loudly and stood up. She started cursing in Italian. We elves should watch our children and not let them run around. This woman's behavior is incredibly disgusting. Disgusting. To jog the unfriendly lady's memory! We weren't even waiting in her restaurant. We were still standing in front of a CHEAP stop sign, whose chain my child touched. And that's why this cheap sign wobbled. Nothing happened at all! This unfriendly and incompetent lady simply felt disturbed while she was eating. WE WERE NEVER IN THE RESTAURANT! The unfriendly lady's screaming had already taken place outside the restaurant (entrance). Perhaps you should change your own meal times or opening hours. And please stick to the truth and avoid writing lies. Thank you!

22/02/2026: We got to experience this wonderful family owned trattoria in June of 2024. Talking about making you feel at home, toward the end of the meal the son brought out his favorite wine after we had had discussions. Then at the end before we were leaving, nona came out with her favorite bottle of wine and dessert!! What a wonderful evening and we cannot wait to visit again this May !!

13/02/2026: Good, attentive, and discreet service, average dishes, but the Vicenza-style cod and the carefully cooked and presented vegetables are interesting.

01/06/2025: Se volete una vista mozzafiato sulla laguna, se siete amanti del pesce in tutte le sue forme e siete in gita a pellestrina, non potete non andare da celeste. Intanto la Cordialità, disponibilità del personale, oltre al servizio impeccabile. Attenzione ai dettagli, perfetti i tempi di servizio oltre che ai consigli sui piatti e i fuori. Il menù variegato ma non esagerato, attento a valorizzare anche il pesce del territorio. Ho provato la crudite come antipasto (una meraviglia al palato), ed un primo di spaghetti alla granceola, gustosissimo. Per finire un'ottima frittura, delicata, perfetta nella panatura, il tutto accompagnato da un buon vino. Il zuccotto come dessert ha chiuso in modo ineccepibile la cena. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottima, considerando che si mangia pesce di alto livello. lasciate perdere le persone che scrivono recensioni negative perché non hanno capito proprio niente di questo ristorante e tantomeno della qualità del cibo. Ci torneremo presto sicuramente ! Fantastici!!

18/01/2026: I may have visited at a bad time or on the wrong day, but although Google Maps showed this place as open, the restaurant was completely closed when I arrived. The interior also looked abandoned, with objects scattered around in an empty space, and it did not seem like the business would be reopening anytime soon. The location is not particularly convenient either. It is tucked away in a residential area along the coast of Lido, so making the trip only to find it closed is a waste of valuable sightseeing time. I would not recommend visiting based on my experience. If you still plan to go, I strongly suggest checking official sources for up-to-date information in advance.
