31/01/2026: Our first time in Chioggia, and while wandering through the many alleys, we stumbled upon this small restaurant for lunch. The interior is a bit dated, but the staff is welcoming and professional. The menu features interesting dishes, such as creamed cod served with squid ink polenta.
31/12/2025: The place is a bit dated. We ordered two grilled fish dishes: they weren't bad, but honestly, we expected better. Overall, the experience wasn't convincing. I wouldn't recommend it, and I don't think we'll be back.

However, the prices are decidedly high for what's on offer, making the value for money unconvincing. The food is good, but the bill is truly exorbitant.”
04/09/2025: After not being able to get a table for one person at a competitor with 4.4 stars during rush hour, I received a very warm welcome, excellent service, and excellent food here. The pizza Quattro Stagioni was truly outstanding, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely fair. I'd be happy to come back – I definitely recommend it! 😀

28/02/2026: I returned with my family with pleasure after a few years. The ingredients were high-quality and the portions generous. The only downside was the waitress, whose demeanor transformed a refined establishment into a Trastevere osteria. Kudos to the rest of the staff, the professional and knowledgeable waiters. I hope it was just an off day.

13/10/2025: Hostaria ai Do Farai doesn't live up to the descriptions in previous reviews. It was a real disappointment! They've probably changed management... Terrible service and food, poor quality and quantity. We ordered seafood, but there was very little shellfish and it was flavorless, and the spaghetti tasted like it was seasoned with butter! They even tried to cheat us by charging us for what we hadn't eaten! They quickly changed the bill when this was pointed out, without apology. I don't recommend it!

Pizza with fries: Fries undercooked and soggy.
Carbonara: The "bacon" was pure fat and not even a bit crispy.
Service seemed strained.
02/10/2025: The food is mediocre to good and of varying quality. The service tries to be friendly, but often seems fake and not heartfelt. A no-go is the €3 per person caperto, which is charged even for small children. Many neighboring restaurants don't charge this. I consider charging caperto to be outdated, even for Italy.

We stumbled upon it by chance while passing by on January 1st and had a wonderful meal. Highly recommended!

20/01/2026: Excellent Venetian cuisine with consistently fresh, top-quality ingredients. I love the mashed potatoes with creamed cod, and the trio of raw fish that varies depending on what's available. Their Guazzetto is exquisite... and I must say they make the best fried fish in Jesolo. The price is fair for the ingredients, the service, and the location. The wine list is worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. My favorite in Jesolo!

04/10/2025: Delicious Italian food at the Lido. From pasta to pizza and Bellini, everything is available at reasonable prices and tastes great! Highly recommended!

29/01/2026: A few years ago my dad cooked me salmon that was gross and i stoped eating it ....this restaurant changed it! Their salmon is amazing, tender and sides and salads are super fresh🐟🥗We always stop here for dinner when returning home

01/03/2026: We went in February 2026, on a weekday, for a business lunch. I noticed the interior was nice; we sat outside on the veranda. The food was good (we ordered a starter, main course, a drink, and a coffee) with a decent selection, and the price was more than fair. I recommend it.
08/02/2026: Terrible, dirty, food that's almost like canteen food, and way too expensive for the service. They sat us in a large veranda with paper placemats, sticky tables, chairs, and menus, all for €2.50. Spaghetti (broken 😲) with clams and some kind of thick sauce was €20.00.
Chosen only out of desperation, as Sottomarina has nothing to offer in the winter, and everything is closed. A disgrace for both the restaurant and the city.
