22/06/2024: Non ho inserito terribile soltanto perché mi spiacerebbe non valorizzare il lavoro di qualcuno che effettivamente magari l’impegno ce lo mette…Però non posso dire di aver passato una buona serata. C’è stato un fraintendimento nell’ordine e il cameriere si è completamente dimenticato di chiedere cosa prendessi io , segnando addirittura la seconda portata per uno dei miei amici. Poco male , accorgendomi del fatto che il cameriere non si fosse accorto di dover aggiungere il mio piatto di spaghetti alle vongole , ho subito dopo avvertito un altro cameriere di aggiungerne uno in più . Il tempo di far arrivare i piatti a tutti (primo e secondo) , e pure il tempo di finirli , dopo circa una mezz’ora abbondante arriva anche il mio , quando gli altri sono già pronti a chiedere il caffè . Personale poco simpatico , non si sono accorti nemmeno del malinteso e hanno fatto completamente finta di nulla ; il piatto mi è arrivato sporco e poco abbondante . La qualità del cibo non è male , ma del resto , non abbastanza di qualità per farmi ricredere sulla cena poco entusiasmante. Detto ciò , spero sia stato un caso più unico che raro il mio , ma a seconda della mia esperienza non potrei dire altrimenti.

We ordered the Pasta Vongole, the Pasta Alnero and Seafood Spaghetti for the ladies.The servings were big,bigger than the other places we have been.The guys ordered the steaks, and they were big and juicy,they cooked then perfectly!! We are back tomorrow 😎. And the staff…excellente!

17/08/2024: Terrible service. There was a very arrogant boy who served, the wait for the second course was endless, forced to ask the waitress to cancel all the second courses and since we were there for the sea not to stay all day waiting to eat. I remembered it much better!

01/09/2024: Personale cordiale e disponibile ,il titolare supervisiona il locale prestano attenzione che tutto vada bene. Se uno è alla ricerca di un posto informale dove si mangia del buon pesce questo è il locale perfetto! Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Consigliatissimo !!!

13/06/2024: Our final evening in Venice and choose to go to a local restaurant. Very happy with the meal and wine overall. Price was reasonable. The only problem was sharing a room with two families who had very hyperactive children who were totally ignored by their parents. We moved to a table outside for our desert and to get some peace and quiet. The staff were apologetic regarding the issues with noise. It amazes me how oblivious the parents were considering the children looked to be over 7yrs upwards!

09/07/2024: Ottimo tutto, un solo appunto, quando il cameriere propone piatti che non sono nel menù dovrebbe anche dire quanto costano. Ho preso una porzione di seppioline fritte, buonissime, ma costavano 50 euro! Avvisarmi no?

01/07/2024: Bellissimo il posto, servizio veloce professionale e cortese. Piatti della tradizione fatti con materia prima superlativa. Sapori schietti tipici della tradizione Veneta : baccalà mantecato da manuale, granceola squisita, sarde in saor ( buone come poche) . Bussolai tipici...ne mangeresti un vagone! Carta dei vini interessantissima con ricarichi onesti! Un posto dove ritornare sempre, ed uscire soddisfatti! Bravi!!

14/12/2023: We had visited on a number of occasions under the previous management and enjoyed eating there. This time the atmosphere seemed a little changed and subdued. The food was good and priced ok…we didn’t have any drinks (apart from water). The waiting staff seemed slightly highly strung but pleasant to us. It just seemed a bit low key on this occasion but of course it was November so much quieter than normal.

22/11/2023: So good, we went twice. You know somewhere is good when it is filled with the locals. Super helpful staff and delicious food. Great house wine as well.

30/06/2024: We stayed in Venice May 25-28 and enjoyed 2 dinners during our stay. Our waiter Marwin gave us excellent service both nights. One night we enjoyed the sea bass which completely encrusted in salt then baked and then Marwin broke off the salt at the table and filleted the fish. Absolutely delicious! Both evenings we were seated at the end of the floating dock and enjoyed the beautiful views.

11/06/2024: Bien sûr il y a l’emplacement : avec vue. Le service est aimable. Les plats sont de qualité correcte avec des portions suffisantes. Très bon rapport qualité/prix du Spritz + cicchettis. Terrasse très agréable.

17/08/2024: I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years, and even hosted dinner parties there in the past, because of its delicious food, but this summer was unexpectedly and exceptionally awful. All my food had almost zero taste, and I had to constantly ask for salt which was in heavy rotation at other tables! From my starter, which was a raw tuna dish, to my main which was a kind of”sea bass” from the region and artichokes. I also wanted a pasta but they refused to do half portion which is not unusual in Italy. I was still hungry and decided to see if it was just the fish that was bad on this particular visit, and wanted to relive my previous memories of really delicious food so I ordered a pasta which was sadly also so tasteless so much so that I had to ask my neighboring table for the salt as my pasta was getting cold. The only upside is I befriended my neighboring table (turns out we had two mutual friends!) and we commiserated on the exceptionally bland and tasteless food which is not what you expect at the hidden but expensive Corte Sconta. They also said had been coming for a few years from Switzerland and they said their food was also so bad and they wouldn’t come back again. They told me a funny saying that when a chef is in love, he puts salt in his dishes. And when they are depressed, then put none. They wondered if the chef was going through a divorce! It was supposed to be a highlight of my visit but I had a sore disappointment!

13/07/2024: Les serveurs et serveuses étaient extrêmement sympathiques et professionnels. Les conseils pour le vin étaient également bon. Cependant la qualité des repas n était pas au rendez vous . Nous avons opté pour un menu et celui ci était très décevant , pas cuisiné. De plus nous avons été malade toute la nuit suite à une mauvaise gestion de la chaîne du froid ( notre carpaccio de thon rouge est arrivé tiède ) . Nous n étions pas les seuls à être déçus, à côté une personne a renvoyé son plat .
