26/08/2025: An excellent experience! We were welcomed like royalty by Sam! No service charge here, the food was delicious, and we came back for happy hour a few days later! A huge thank you to Sam and the entire team for their service and kindness!! We will be back again!!

23/08/2025: We were here for dinner at the beginning of August 2025. After sunset, we went looking for a cozy yet affordable restaurant for dinner. By Venetian standards, we found what we were looking for at "Osteria alla bandiera." If there's one thing we can highlight here, it's the impressively friendly and cheerful service staff. The food was good and it was a lovely end to an exciting day in Venice!

18/08/2025: drinks were good but adding another 10.- for “coperto” is disgusting.

18/08/2025: This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in Venice. When I tried to pay, the staff told me the first transaction didn’t go through and pressured me to pay again. Trusting them, I did – only to later discover that BOTH payments went through. When I contacted the restaurant and asked for my money back, they completely ignored me. I called, I emailed – no response, no refund. This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. Tourists, please be careful – this place takes advantage of people and does not act honestly. I would strongly advise avoiding this restaurant altogether.

21/06/2025: Location molto deludente e ci sono tantissimi moscerini. Si mangia da dio!! É tutto buono!! I gelati non buoni soprattutto il sorbetto che é amaro!!!!

13/06/2025: This is the kind of restaurant where the locals eat. It appeared the staff knew their diners and treated all guests respectfully. It was recommended to us by numerous locals for its truly great Italian food. We walked in when it opened and it was full within a half of an hour. It's off the beaten path in an alley but well worth it. The food was fantastic and the service was great.

23/04/2025: Los camareros eran groseros e inútiles. El servicio tomó mucho tiempo. La comida no valía la pena el precio. Tuvimos que llamar a los camareros para todo dos veces, servilletas, menús, factura.

20/04/2025: Ci siamo finiti per caso grazie a un suggerimento dell'hotel, appena arrivati siamo accorti che ci aspettavano una serata speciale. Locale splendido, cucina ottima, ricercata e anche un po' avveniristica. Servizio top, con grande simpatia. 🔝

Abbiamo gustato piatti squisiti, preparati con passione e cura, con porzioni abbondanti e ricche di sapore che hanno conquistato il nostro palato. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è stato eccellente, rendendo la serata ancora più piacevole e memorabile. Nonostante il ristorante fosse molto frequentato, il tempo di attesa è stato gestito in modo impeccabile, e l’atmosfera, ricca di sorrisi e di una simpatia contagiosa, ha reso tutto ancora più speciale. Vogliamo ringraziare di cuore Giurgia, Savino e il direttore Davide:per il loro atteggiamento attento, professionale e accogliente che ci ha fatto sentire ospiti come a casa propria. La passione che mettono nella preparazione dei piatti si percepisce in ogni boccone, e l’ambiente, impeccabilmente pulito, contribuisce a creare un’atmosfera calda e invitante. Per dovere di informazione agli amici che leggeranno questa recensione abbiamo cenato con un delicato e profumato risotto con scampi e asparagi, con un imperiale branzino pescato del giorno e con delle croccanti e fragranti fritture di pesce con verdure pastellate il tutto innaffiato da un ottimo prosecco servito in caraffa. Abbiamo chiuso con il famoso "sgroppino" a base di gelato al limone con vodka. Consigliamo caldamente questo locale. Una serata da ripetere senza dubbio! 02/05/2025: Ci siamo lasciati consigliare dal cameriere sul "pescato del giorno": branzino al forno con patate, sicuramente buono, ma il costo è stato un'amara sorpresa : 70€. Non era di sicuro un pesce da un kg, e non eravamo stati preventivamente informati sul peso, né ci era stato mostrato il pesce prima di cuocerlo. Certo, potevamo chiedere noi, ma è una questione di trasparenza e professionalità.

08/06/2025: We are sitting with friends, the waiter took our order. He served my friends, but not me. After several reminders about where my dish is, the waiter is just starting to pass the order on to the kitchen. Thank you, but I don't like sitting and eating last when all my friends have already eaten. It's a pity that none of the staff speaks English.

24/08/2025: “Unbelievable! A tavern near Caorle had nothing interesting among the typical sandwiches, like crostini, etc. Really rude. While we were sitting down to have a drink, they ordered pizza for delivery 😂😂 Where are we at with service in Italy?”

20/08/2025: Hospitality is the calling card of any place, and in this case, the lady's welcome was so unwelcoming and unnecessarily rude, considering it was 1:15 PM and I was extremely polite, that I lost the desire to stay. I preferred to leave immediately! Not good enough! One star just out of obligation.

29/08/2025: We had lunch there at noon, the pizza was good but nothing special, the price was a little high for my taste but I recommend it.

21/08/2025: Average food...truthfully...but the service is quite discriminatory...they have a menu for tourists...but if you are Italian it is special for them...my husband ordered a "Milanese" for the 2nd course, which was a chicken breast as thin as a slice of ham...but it just so happens that the table next to us who were Italian had a normal-sized Milanese...so if you don't want to be taken for a ride at all, I recommend eating here.

12/08/2025: This is a tourist trap, as most of the restaurants in Venice, especially close to the train station. I had a lunch here because i wasn’t able to move too far at that time. The prices are quite high but compared with other restaurants is okay. I had a lasagna, nothing special but okay. Maybe the portion could had be bigger.

02/09/2025: If Venice is a dream, this little pasta restaurant is its best-kept secret. Tucked away on a quiet side street close to the theatre where the atmosphere is warm, intimate, and filled with comforting aromas. The menu celebrates authenticity with it's carefully crafted dishes. The highlight for me was the fresh pasta with truffles; delicate ribbons of pasta coated in earthy richness that melted on the tongue, perfectly cooked and flavoured. Unforgettable!! The staff embody Venetian hospitality at it's best, kind, attentive and passionate about their restaurant. Prices are fair, especially considering the quality. It is truly a must-visit for anyone who believes pasta is more than just food, but an experience. I look forward to my next visit. Grazie mille! 😊

25/07/2025: Tempi di attesa lunghi, servizio precario, pressoché assente come la cordialità. 4€ per un coperto che non prevede alcun servizio a giustificazione del prezzo, dal momento che con l’ordinazione, giunta sbagliata, non è stato portato alcun tipo di sostituto del pane o pane, se non si vuole fare accenno a quello scongelato e riscaldato all’ultimo momento. Prezzi alti senza alcuna giustificazione. Da evitare.

30/06/2025: Large terrace with a view, even if very distant, of Venice. Professional waiters. More than good food. Worth a try if only because the place is scenic.

29/08/2025: I don't recommend going to this place. They grab you in the middle of the (very small) street and offer you a very comprehensive menu for €18, service included in the price. Once you enter, you realize the food is very limited and everything is pre-cooked. Furthermore, the owner's manners leave much to be desired. Once we entered her bar, her expression changed, and her initial politeness became almost contemptuous. Furthermore, the bar/trattoria was empty (the one across the street was full, which is symptomatic... a mistake on our part, too, for not looking more closely). In short, it's best to pass this B-list trattoria by.

10/03/2025: Riunione conviviale x il compleanno di una parente. Bel locale con vista sulla foce del Piave di Cortellazzo. Bel menu concordato x l'occasione ma con alcuni piatti decisamente non riusciti. Buon Gilera sfuso.
