22/08/2025: An evening snack, passing through before catching the train. We had four "cicchetti" and a glass of wine...delicious! We were impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of the owners ❤ I hope to return and enjoy their dishes more slowly 😍

19/08/2025: Be careful, this is a tourist trap, don't trust the signs in front of the restaurant. We paid €55 for 2 spritzes, 2 tiramisu, and 2 bruschetta (4 small pieces of bread with tomato...) I don't recommend it.

21/08/2025: At the end of our vacation, we chose this restaurant and unfortunately regretted it. We ordered pizza and pasta for our main course. The pizza Frutti di Mare was completely drenched in oil, and the crust was very hard. It tasted more like a baked pizza. They charge an additional €2 for the cheese on the pizza. The pasta was also rather tasteless. When we paid, the bill was placed on the table and we were ignored. When we got up after some time, the manager came over to us and looked in the bill holder. Our conclusion: One of the worst restaurants in Bardolino and not recommended.

25/05/2025: I entrusted my wedding to Elisa and Salvo. What can I say - a GUARANTEE. The level of attention, attention to detail and heart that they dedicate to us is priceless. Food and selection of wines excellent as always.

12/05/2025: Definitely a place to recommend! I had dinner in this place last Saturday for a communion and I was very amazed by the quality of the products and the non-trivial culinary offering. In particular, being vegan, I was the only person with a different menu and the dishes were good and "thought out", which is not to be taken for granted. Another thing that is not to be taken for granted when you are vegan is receiving the same number of courses as the other diners and here for every fish-based course I received a vegan one. The only dish I would suggest doing differently is the second course, as there was no plant-based protein source present. A quick idea could also be simple tempeh blended with white wine.

09/08/2025: The key word to describe the culinary experience at Da Ruggero is: Wonderful! The chef delighted us with delicious dishes prepared with expert skill. The fish was so fresh it felt like a piece of the sea in our mouths. A welcoming location and excellent service. A special thanks to Luca, Mirco, and Silvia who pampered us with their expertise.

18/07/2025: They were very friendly and funny, yet very professional, even with my golden retriever. As an appetizer, I had the best scallops I've ever had. The main course was very generously filled.

29/07/2025: You can get there by all private means including water, excellent quality food, trained and smiling staff and above all the cleanliness is 10 just look at the kitchen when you enter the room ... Obviously I have not mentioned the view, a picture.

17/08/2025: We had two appetizers and two first courses. The appetizers were good but poor. Tagliatelle with lobster was flavorless. Spaghetti with clams was dry, lacking oil, and tasteless. The pasta was overcooked. The price was in line with a Michelin-starred restaurant... We won't be back. We won't be back.

15/08/2025: A very refined and clean atmosphere, immersed in the greenery of the Villa Margherita park. Excellent service, always available and with a smile for guests. Flavorful seafood menu: delicious steamed mixed appetizer, tender seared tuna fillet with an unforgettable flavor. We'll definitely be back.

29/06/2025: A wonderful discovery! We found the place, looking for one before a show in Villa Guidini We found a welcoming, prepared and kind staff. The dishes were one better than the other. Fresh and quality products. You absolutely have to try them! I give 4 stars to the environment for the only reason that, having large windows, it is necessary to install curtains, even just for inside, to avoid having customers have lunch/dinner with the sun beating down on them. For the rest they deserve more than 5 stars!

The magical atmosphere of each room has been curated with great skill and elegance for decades, which make it a trattoria / pizzeria very well set in the history of yesterday and today of this enchanting town, full of greenery and parking near the city center. Giulia and Leo, two authentic actors in the restaurant industry, children of art, are very good at typical Venetian and Italian cuisine. With long years of history behind them, according to the elders of the village, as well as the old managers still alive, about 280 years old, and it is always advisable to book in advance to enjoy a wide range of unique pizzas, also made with various types of dough, where the skill and expertise of the Master Pizza Chef, Mr. Daniele De Santis, (a nationally recognized title), with his magical hands, is said by all to be a true magician of Neapolitan and Venetian pizza. Both the very pleasant and spacious outdoor area and the well-conditioned interior, encourage everyone to return, to satisfy all the desires, both regressive and nascent, at any time of the evening. Well done to all the staff, who together with the very kind Giulia and her brother Leo, always ready to invent a magical drink to brighten the evening. 19/07/2025: I went for a graduation! Super delicious food!!!! Not recommended for those on a diet...😂😂!!

22/08/2025: A small but fine restaurant in a somewhat quiet location. The food was very, very tasty. The wait time for orders to be taken and for the bill to arrive was a bit long... but that was probably due to the high volume of guests. And in peak season, you can certainly show some understanding for the waiters ;) We'll be happy to come back.
