11/09/2025: I'm only talking about the restaurant because we didn't stay at the hotel. We tried stopping for lunch, drawn by the reviews and also because almost everything in the area was closed. Overall, everything was pretty good, but the food was the problem: the dishes were truly disappointing; we didn't even eat half of what we ordered. The staff was friendly, the prices moderate, but that's not enough to make us want to return.

09/10/2025: A decent cafe, good for lunch. Delicious coffee. Large selection of pizza. Small portion of mussels.

26/09/2025: The food was delicious, but realizing that the foreigners were trying to rip us off, they brought us more expensive wine than we ordered, and then they just said "sorry" and nothing, such establishments are immediately banned - we won't come back.

16/09/2025: Good pizza, too bad they put too much oil and it gets disgusting after a while! Margherita pizza.

15/09/2025: We dined with a nice group of relatives at this restaurant. The venue is lovely and has been pleasantly updated. We were there with small children, who certainly appreciated the play area adjacent to the dining room. Let's just say that, aside from the squat toilets, which aren't the most convenient with children, we didn't encounter any particular problems. The pizza was thin and overall good, but not very filling for the price. The 75cl water was perhaps a bit pricey. Personally, I had higher expectations after seeing many positive reviews, but the chaos of the large group we were with probably didn't help.

12/10/2025: Naturally, I'm wary of pizzerias that serve food. "At a pizzeria, you eat pizza..." This, however, is a restaurant with refined, unintentionally pretentious dishes that also offers pizza. Excellent value for money. I haven't tried the pizza, but the food is very well-prepared, with excellent ingredients, cooked simply and without fuss. They also offer expert wine recommendations. Excellent experience. Well done.

19/07/2025: Since I was little, I've been coming to this Osteria in Ponzano for seafood. The elegant atmosphere, with an outdoor porch, offers well-prepared dishes with meticulous attention to detail and top-quality ingredients. Today, we each ordered an appetizer and a first course, choosing different dishes to sample from the menu: for starters, a trio of saor and calamari salad; for main courses, scallop ravioli and fish scialatielli. I then ordered dessert, especially the liqueurs and dessert menu is particularly good value (€3 for liqueurs and grappa, €4 for house desserts). The house wine, a good sparkling white, is also excellent.

09/10/2025: We've been coming here to eat at least once a year for years. The restaurant has continually improved over the years. The staff were always friendly and quick. The food and its presentation have also become more and more appealing. We were there again yesterday. It was very good. The food was very good. The air conditioning made us feel even more at home. However, nothing works without a reservation. Many thanks to the team there. It was a lovely evening... so, today, September 16, 2025, we were in the restaurant again. The food was once again perfect. Tuna and Filetto di Manzo, as well as the starter, were all very fine. Prosecco was very fair at €19. It was really good. So again, top value for money. Plus, the restrooms are completely renovated. Everything is modern. We'd love to come back. We'll be back on September 17, 2025. We went again at the end of our stay in Caorle. The tuna was just as good as the day before. Top quality at a fair price of €24 per person. See you next year. I've also raised the rating accordingly.😉

07/10/2025: When making a reservation, we were not informed that there was a charge for booking a table, as we left an extra 10 euros for the waiter when paying the bill and there was another 10 euros for the reservation on the bill for the food. This is not done and customers should be informed.

11/10/2025: A pleasant welcome and professional staff. We were seated on the outdoor terrace, but the experience quickly soured: invaded by mosquitoes, we had to cut our meal short before dessert. The dishes remain beautifully presented, but the portions have significantly shrunk. The €25 plate of fried seafood lacked flavor and accompaniments, and the €6 grilled vegetables were limited to a few pieces. In short, pleasant service but disappointing value for money. The establishment has lost its generosity and quality compared to previous years.

13/10/2025: The only question to ask yourself before eating at Venissa is: am I ready? Venissa isn't a culinary experience, but much more. Before beginning the tasting experience, you need to understand and appreciate the restaurant's concept: respect for local cuisine, respect for the local area, and for raw materials in all their forms, the use of uncommon ingredients, and the ability to see beyond. That said, Venissa offers two tasting experiences that change frequently depending on what the local area has to offer at any given time. The cuisine is primarily fish and vegetable-based. Homemade produce is the estate's strong point. The ingredients aren't necessarily high-quality, but they're treated with respect and creativity, minimizing waste. The staff is young and highly trained, each capable of engaging you emotionally in the experience. The beverage pairings are highly refined, and the evolution of the food is emphasized by the diverse products offered, not just wine but also drinks, kombucha, beer, cider, and more. An elegant location that reflects the concept of respect for materials and nature, everything in harmony, nothing left to chance. We will never stop thanking you for the wonderful experience. 13/10/2025: Food was very unique but not tasty at all. I can’t think of a single dish I really enjoyed and a lot of it was plain unpleasant. The venue was beautiful. No one offered us a drinks list and the sommelier who was meant to come over never did so we didn’t get drinks. They make you tell them two courses in advance if you want to use the toilet which is overkill in my opinion.

14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

10/10/2025: We had a very good meal here—not for the first time. Grilled trout and Fritzi the Mare. It was reasonably priced.

04/10/2025: The food is delicious, the grilled fish mix and the pizza are delicious, I recommend this atmospheric place.

12/10/2025: We're served bottled tap water, treated with the Culligan system, at the "modest" price of €3.20! The bottle is clearly dirty inside. We ask for sealed bottled water and are told they only have that type of water. This alone would deserve a lower rating. The veranda overlooking the lake has a central iron band that effectively blocks the view. The male staff isn't friendly, and a few more smiles wouldn't hurt. The pizza (Neapolitan style) is good, and the food, overall, is good (which is what matters!).
