16/03/2025: February 16, 2025, first of all the location is a little dated, with the upholstery for the chairs looking a bit 70's wedding style, raw the only thing that is absolutely good and recommended, but only that! according to them the flagship with the lobster was inedible, primarily because the lobster was not whole but broken down, but on the menu the price of the dish amounted to €80 so they expected at least the whole lobster because half in pieces and "reconstructed" on the plate gave the idea of ​​"leftovers". the taste was not homogeneous because the cooking of the lobster was not mixed with the sauce and consequently it felt like eating pasta with tomato and the lobster separately, for the equivalent of the dish costing €80. also extremely unspeakable is the fact that the manager specified that the supplier does not supply 0.75 bottles of wine but prefers to supply 0.33 of any wine, moreover charging for it as if it were a 0.75 bottle. according to the owner, the restaurant has been the subject of many positive reviews in the newspaper but in my personal opinion there are many better restaurants in the area! with 1/3 of the price. The bill for 2 people is €270….

12/03/2025: Young, friendly and very helpful staff. Possibility to have lunch inside by choosing between the dining room or sitting around the fireplace. Possibility of having lunch outdoors at the various tables present. Very characteristic place immersed in the lagoon. Dishes with the right amount of food. Everything is cooked at the moment, even the risottos (you have to wait a bit for the rice, so it is recommended to take an appetizer while you wait). Average prices for restaurants with fish menus.

10/03/2025: On 9/3/25 I went to eat something around 1pm the waitress told us that they had been open for a day so they were a bit unprepared I understand them because we have always had a very good time with them, however they forgot about us never mind, it's not a criticism of them. We'll definitely see you again later.

24/03/2025: Pleasant quiet place, very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast and very comfortable rooms. We didn't use the restaurant but from what I saw and the menus it's definitely worth it. Although the structure is in the middle of the countryside, it is still convenient for Mira station from where after a quarter of an hour by train you can reach Venice

23/03/2025: Genuinely some of the most helpful staff I've ever encountered when traveling. The rustic atmosphere will appeal to those looking to enjoy a peaceful stay and the hotel is incredibly charming itself. Plus, fans of cats will appreciate Pepe and Mal, who are also considered part of the staff 😉 One recommendation for foreign visitors that might not have transportion is to rent a car. The train stations are within a couple miles. However, it isn't necessarily walkable due to narrow country roads without sidewalks and taxis/Uber are overpriced. Venice is a 20 minute train ride from the Mira-Mirano station. There's parking at the train station. The accompanying restaurant is fantastic as well. An absolutely fantastic place to say, if you're looking for quiet, simplicity, and incredibly helpful staff.

29/03/2025: Almost embarrassing. Portions just below average, they don't go well with risotto, fish too small in size for grilling. In fact the meat was too dry due to the little pulp. A person had to eat meat, due to allergies. Practically a children's menu and not even good according to him. Millefeuille clumsily placed on plates. I didn't pay, so if a maximum of 35 per person was spent, then ok. I'm definitely not going back.

Unfortunately, since we don't speak Italian and only one person on the staff speaks fragments of English and there is no physical menu, ordering was a bit adventurous. However, with prepared pictures and a bit of back and forth, we managed to order a meal. We were a bit disappointed that we only wanted one main meal, the locals around us had several courses, but the food was perfect. I had the best Fritzo Misto I've ever eaten and my partner had a wonderful pasta dish. The wine that came with it (bottles only!) was very good and cheap and overall we were more than satisfied.

14/04/2025: Dopo aver girata tutta Burano, per le 13.30 abbiamo deciso di fermarci a mangiare in questo locale. Locale molto carino, semplice di per sé, ma i piccoli dettagli dell'arredamento e nella mise en place fanno la differenza, rendendo tutto più accogliente e romantico. Trattoria a conduzione familiare, accoglienza eccezionale dall'inizio del pranzo fino alla fine. Personale quindi gentilissimo, disponibile e professionale. Menu vario, per dare più scelta, sia ai turisti che le persone del posto. Si passa dal pesce di laguna freschissimo, cucinato veramente bene, alla carbonara o alla caprese servita con stile. Ovviamente essendo in un posto turistico bisogna accontentare tutte le persone ma non per questo è tutto dato per scontato, anche nell'impiattamento, che vuole il suo occhio. La materia prima ottima. Fegato alla veneziana buonissimo, soddisfatta. Anche le cozze veramente buone e fresche, come le vongole. Penso che i dolci siano buoni, anche se non l'abbiamo preso, vedevo che erano invitanti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo corretto, avendo mangiato la tradizione e il pesce. Ovviamente bisogna ricordarsi dove ci si trova.
