23/08/2025: The best restaurant in the area with delicious, high-quality dishes. A special mention goes to the sommelier (Daniele), who is very knowledgeable and appreciated. The cellar is well-stocked with both local and international wines. The staff are friendly and provide efficient and fast service despite the unusual preparation of the dishes.

16/08/2025: Papaveri e Papere is a guarantee. The atmosphere is relaxing and elegant, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, even when it comes to wine selection. We had the seafood tasting, and every course was a harmony of flavors, everything was delicious; we were completely satisfied. I recommend reserving a table; it's very easy, even online.

05/08/2025: An authentic trattoria, with the pros and cons (very few) that entails. Family-run, the owners are wonderful people, still working with passion and always smiling. Good food, delicious homemade desserts, all in a family-friendly and always welcoming atmosphere.

26/06/2025: As soon as we entered, in addition to the warm welcome from the owners, we were pleasantly delighted by the excellent aroma coming from the kitchen. We opted for fish but there is also an excellent choice in the land menu. Very fresh fish, cooked to perfection and with passion! I highly recommend it! Congratulations indeed!

22/08/2025: Stumbled on this place on our way to the leaning tower. Would not have found it without a sign placed on the sidewalk. Worth the detour! Old school charm with a waiter in his 30s teamed up with the owner and chef well into their 60s at a guess. Felt a bit crowded with too many decor touches and bottles literally everywhere. But the food was amazing! Highlight was a sea bass ravioli which was super fine pasta perfectly cooked. Excellent seafood spaghetti. The reviews don’t lie. It’s far better than you’d expect when you walk in.

Each dish tells a story: a perfect balance of creativity, technique, and flavor. The attention to detail is evident and palpable, both in the food and in the elegant yet distinctive ambiance. The chefs are young, passionate, and talented. It's wonderful to see so much energy and vision in the kitchen. A place worth discovering (and rediscovering). I'll definitely be back!

12/07/2025: Going to La Polveriera is an experience. We had been there during the day and returned in the evening. What can I say? A magical atmosphere. Quality, refinement, thoughtfulness, so much kindness. They really deserve only compliments. Well done guys. See you next time... magic!

07/08/2025: We stayed in Italy for about a week. From Rome, to Venice, and to Pisa. This is one of the best restaurants we ate at. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was accommodating. The food was out of this world. If I am ever in Italy again, I will be eating here.

02/07/2025: One of the best meals we had during our trip. The seafood here is incredibly fresh and full of flavour, you can really taste the quality in every bite. Every dish we ordered was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. If you’re in Pisa and love seafood, this place is a must. We left completely satisfied and would happily come back again.

07/08/2025: We organized a blind dinner with a couple of friends and I must say that it exceeded expectations. A really nice and welcoming place. Large motorcycle parking. Nice outdoor area for summer dining. Staff always smiling, polite and ready to smile. And what can I say about the food... excellent, I would say we ate for 10 and even the wine did its part! We'll be back soon!

10/08/2025: A fantastic place! For the atmosphere, the service, the wine, the punch!!!! My favorite thing? After a plate of clam pasta and fried sardines washed down with a good organic white wine, enjoying a punch on a deckchair by the river... what more could you ask for?

27/07/2025: We were able to spend a wonderful week with Lora and Marco. Lora conjures up a delicious, lovingly prepared breakfast every morning. The pizza evening at sunset in the olive trees was also wonderful. The pool was great, and we would love to come back.

29/08/2025: I'm just giving my opinion on the appetizer platters: the bruschetta listed on the menu was never served. The Tuscan specialty platter consists of three small verrines.

24/08/2025: Friendly, with excellent Tuscan cuisine. Despite being just steps from the Leaning Tower of Pisa, this isn't your typical "tourist trap" restaurant, but a true osteria.

23/07/2025: A beautiful place to eat. We sat in the garden, which had a wonderful atmosphere. We received a delicious glass of champagne upon arrival. We expected a bit more from the food. There was a mistake with our second course (it happens). It's a shame that my dish was served as it was, and my husband's was remade. That's not how you eat together, which isn't really appropriate in such an (expensive) restaurant. There were many different waiters at the table, which made it less personal. Our expectations were perhaps a bit too high. Otherwise, we had a great meal, a pleasant experience.

14/07/2025: Bellissima location per un ristorante: nelle stagioni calde si mangia su un elegante prato inglese nella corte di una casa colonica sulle cui pareti cresce una fitta vegetazione. L'impatto è di una grande suggestione che accompagna i loro favolosi e ricercati piatti. Gran classe e cucina raffinata.
