13/08/2026: I couldn't rate it. After checking on Google to see if it was open, I arrived and it said in large letters that it was closed that day of the week. I saw other people arriving who thought it was open. Not paying attention.
13/08/2026: We arrived after watching the eclipse on the beach in Vecchiano, already filled with excitement. We were warmly welcomed and seated at a table on the veranda, where it was reasonably cool.
The service was friendly, fast, and efficient.
The food was excellent: flavorful and plentiful fish soup, generous and tasty ravioli alla trabaccolara, and delicious fried fish.
My daughter, who had practically already eaten dinner, grabbed a soup but couldn't finish it. The waiters were very kind and even gave her a doggie bag...today, there's a delicious appetizer ready for her.

The food was very good and the sun loungers on the beach were super comfortable.

A very disappointing experience.
Unfortunately, we didn't like the food: the dishes lacked flavor, and even worse, I found a short, black hair on my plate, which is absolutely unacceptable in a restaurant.
The service was also very disappointing, and the staff didn't make us feel welcome.
The biggest surprise came when we got the bill: we were charged three covers of €2.50 each, for a total of €7.50. We were two adults and a 3-year-old girl, who barely used table service.
Personally, I hadn't seen this charge clearly listed on the menu, and no one had informed us beforehand.
I understand that a cover charge can be applied, but I believe it should be clearly and transparently stated before ordering, especially when it applies to such a young child.
After an experience like that, we won't be returning, and I don't recommend it.

L'Osteria Del Parco

05/08/2026: We arrive for a pizza dinner, and they immediately seat us, without mentioning anything specific about the wait time.
After taking our drinks order, only when it comes to ordering pizzas do they inform us that there will be a 20-minute wait.
We're not locals, and the evening isn't too hot, so we decide to wait.
The 20 minutes become almost an hour!
When it comes to paying the bill, not an excuse... but rather €6 (€3 for two) for a non-existent cover charge (we had also asked for bread or focaccia while waiting for our pizzas, but nothing!)
A rip-off.
The pizza prices aren't exactly popular, and the drinks are also out of the ordinary.
I understand that it could be a bad night, even from an organizational standpoint, but this establishment is a classic example of terrible hospitality and how NOT to run a restaurant.
I love Marina di Vecchiano, but we won't be returning to this place.
