08/03/2026: We're in Livorno for the weekend, and after asking where to eat, they recommended this osteria, which really surprised us. The location is welcoming and clean. The staff is super friendly, and the service is fast. Before they brought our order, they brought us some farinata, which we loved. As appetizers, we had the mixed seafood and the anchovies and burrata, all truly delicious. We continued with the spaghetti with mixed seafood, which was truly amazing; we loved it. Then we tried the fritto misto (this one was good, but perhaps a little greasy) and the pizza alla matriciana, which we all fell in love with! All washed down with the house red wine, which went down really well. The price/quality ratio, I'd say, is more than fair. Truly a great discovery!

18/09/2025: Service was rather inadequate and condescending; compared to other tables, the effort was clearly minimal, even though there were only four other tables occupied. The food was fresh, but apart from being fried, nothing else had happened to the ingredients, nothing had been seasoned, and the portions were nowhere near filling, even if you eat several courses in a row. A secondi piatti, for example, contains the following list of ingredients: one prawn, a squid tube cut in half, and a tablespoon-sized piece of tuna placed on something that, with a lot of concentration, can be identified as a vegetable. Other restaurants in the immediate vicinity serve much larger portions of reasonable quality for less money.

11/01/2026: When we're in Castiglioncello, we happen to stop by this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, as is the owner, who knows how to cater to her customers' every need. The desserts are excellent.

01/01/2026: The watchwords are KINDNESS AND GOOD FOOD We visited this corner of paradise on January 1, 2026. We were passing through Marina di Bibbona, and at 12:30 we called to see if it was open and if there was room. Mr. Andrea answered, and very kindly told us they were open and would gladly welcome us. We were there at 1:00 PM. They immediately welcomed us with a complimentary prosecco and a kindness that is not a given these days (my husband and I work in the public sector and have a keen eye for it). And then, shortly after, they took our order. They were also very kind to our son Leonardo... and another point in their favor is that they accept pets, with special consideration for them as well. But now, let's move on to the food. THE WORD IS... SUBLIME. EVERYTHING EXCELLENT... from the first course, to the fried food, to the desserts, EVERYTHING 10 OUT OF 10 They were a real discovery for us, who are We've been frequenting Marina di Bibbona for years. 15/12/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had dinner at Ristorante Da Oscar to celebrate a truly special occasion: our tenth wedding anniversary, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Da Oscar is undoubtedly one of the most well-known and appreciated seafood restaurants in Livorno, and the experience lived up to its reputation. The restaurant immediately conveys a sense of high quality, both in terms of the ambiance and the impeccable service: attentive, professional, and always friendly, without ever being intrusive. You feel pampered from start to finish. The cuisine is excellent. We started with a trio of seafood appetizers, all of which were of the highest quality, with attention to detail and the freshest ingredients. Before that, we enjoyed a complimentary seafood cream soup, a much-appreciated gesture that demonstrates customer service and a love of hospitality. For my first course, I enjoyed an extraordinary dish: pasta with sea urchin sauce, intense, balanced, and with an authentic seafood flavor, truly memorable. To round out the dinner, desserts: a millefeuille and a cheesecake, both excellent, light, and perfectly balanced. A great added bonus was the option to order everything gluten-free, without sacrificing taste or quality: a fundamental consideration that makes the restaurant even more recommendable. In conclusion, Da Oscar is an absolute guarantee: excellent seafood cuisine, high-level service, attentive customer service, and meticulous attention to detail. A perfect restaurant for both a romantic dinner and special occasions. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended! 👏🍽️🐟

19/09/2025: The food is of excellent quality and, above all, very tasty. The service is truly friendly and professional. The ambiance, right on the beach, leaves nothing to be desired. There's also plenty of parking. The wine list is comparable to that of the area. We will definitely be back next time.
