29/10/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant with a beautiful view of the harbor.
A large restaurant with both indoor and outdoor tables, both on the inner side of the city walls.
A la carte menu.
We opted for two appetizers and two pistachio-crusted tuna. Delicious!

12/04/2026: Dinner in the pre-season, the staff was very attentive, we enjoyed the daily specials (two different fish dishes) and a pizza Margarita and found them to be very good.
07/04/2026: Excellent Easter menu, featuring top-quality ingredients, exquisite preparation, and well-balanced flavors, along with harmonious presentation. The atmosphere is warm and informal. Recommended.

29/08/2025: So, let's start with the positives: a simple atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food. The biggest issue is the portion sizes compared to the prices. In a location as unpretentious as a tennis club bar (and rightly so), if you set the price for squid alla diavola (delicious) at €25, you can't afford to pay just one squid (squid is certainly not expensive). The same goes for the grilled octopus: the sauces are delicious, and the octopus is good, but a tiny little tentacle costs €18. In my opinion, the price/quantity ratio needs to be rebalanced. Let me be clear, I say this with affection, but it just won't do. It doesn't take much to rebalance everything!
01/07/2025: We had dinner here on the advice of acquaintances and we were absolutely happy. Tables overlooking the fields and delicious dishes but the plus of the place is certainly Massimo with his friendliness and availability that makes the evening even more enjoyable.

16/09/2025: Very kind and helpful staff. We went to Sunset on Monday (the day before the season closed). We had a great time. They reserved a table for us with a spectacular sunset view. Even though we'd booked with The Fork, we had a dog and they welcomed her with water. The food was plentiful, delicious, and of high quality.
Highly recommended.

2025: unfortunately still unfriendly, mediocre and overpriced. No wonder, since the incompetent operators were only able to get in there through their connections...
2025: purtroppo ancora poco amichevole, mediocre e troppo costoso. Not that it's stupid, you see that the incompetent operators are just entering the world into contact...

07/09/2025: We sit at the table, and there aren't many people. The wait is long and the food is poor.
Furthermore, they offer us a fish sampler,
of equally poor quality, so much so that at this point one of us leaves.
It wasn't worth the quantity or quality, even though they said fish was their specialty.
By paying and asking for a receipt,
Franco was being a bit crafty and, by adding a fifty, he wanted to secure a nice haul.
This behavior is outrageous. I don't want to insult anyone, I don't dare, but eating that fish was scandalous.

02/08/2025: Cibo ottimo e servizio gentile unica nota negativa è che è un po' nascosto e con poche indicazioni per raggiungerlo ma ugualmente consogliato
01/08/2025: De bediening was nogal onpersoonlijk. Het moest allemaal heel snel gaan. Gezellig tafelen was bijna niet mogelijk: we hadden nog maar 1 slokje van onze wijn genomen en het gerecht werd al geserveerd. We hebben dan de rest van de fles leeggedronken met niets meer erbij. Ze kwamen wel meteen vragen of we dessert willen. Maar wij wilden gewoon even rustig praten en gezellig tafelen. Daar hielden ze weinig rekening mee en dat is heel jammer. Het lijkt alsof je snel weer weg moet omdat ze de tafel nogmaals willen vullen met nieuwe klanten. Wij hadden in elk geval dat gevoel.
Los daarvan wil ik wel benadrukken dat het eten zeer lekker was.
Maar voor gezelligheid en sfeer moet je daar niet zijn.

17/07/2025: Ho cenato con la mia famiglia presso questo ristorante e devo dire che siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti sia dal personale preparato e disponibile che dai piatti. Anche il prezzo congruo con la cena. Peccato averlo scoperto l’ultima sera della ns permanenza sull’isola.
09/07/2025: Tuvimos un día perfecto y decidimos rematarlo con una agradable cena.
Pepenero y su equipo realmente hicieron que nuestra noche fuera maravillosa. La comida estaba muy bien equilibrada y su encantador personal completó toda la experiencia a la perfección.
Elba es genial y volveremos. Una cena en Pepenero será una visita obligada en el futuro.
Al dueño: pague al cocinero y a los camareros lo que piden, ¡se lo merecen! !

24/04/2025: Op basis van de commentaren gekomen niet teleurgesteld . Het meisje van de bediening werkte haar eerste dag maar deed het heel goed en was supervriendelijk . Eerst antipasto czldo di mare en cozze alla marinara , daarna orecchietti alla pescatora en spaghetti alle vongole , daarna een gedeelde suggestie ( vongole , cozze , vis in een heerlijke saus ) . Afgesloten met een amaro van het eiland . Een echte aanrader en absoluut waar voor een zeer democratische prijs . Een aanrader !

13/08/2024: Ho mangiato in questo ristorante a pranzo location molto bella e piatti molto buoni.
Per quanto riguarda i vini si parte da bottiglie da 50 euro a salire.
L'unica nota stonata che ho avuto mangiando il conto maggiorato di 24 euro perché aveva segnato cose in più.
Comunque disponibili a risolvere il malinteso.
