07/07/2025: Well, it's one thing to make a mistake in the dish you ordered, it's another to make fun of the customer. Today I go in alone and they make me sit down. I order the simplest thing in the world, a focaccia with mozzarella, tomato and rocket. They bring me a pizza with raw ham, parmesan, rocket and cherry tomatoes accompanied by an empty focaccia. The waiter, like an old fox, tells me that this is what they mean by focaccia. Ok but that's a pizza with ham too, and the focaccia is empty. So I have the pizza and the focaccia taken back since they obviously got everything wrong. But that's fine, to err is human. After a few seconds the same waiter from before appears and tells me: "They're making it again right away". Not even 30 seconds later another waiter arrives and brings me the same empty focaccia as before but with the toppings from the previous pizza spilled on top. I can't see anymore, I repeat, the mistake is fine but the mockery is not! I got up and left hungry and mocked by strangers. They may make good food, but they are very crafty. Be careful!!

07/07/2025: It was a complete disaster. More than half of our order was forgotten and not served. We were missing a drink, our plate of calamari, and our salad. We only got our two pizzas. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst pizzas we've ever had. The topping was extremely runny and it was more like eating a runny lasagna than a pizza. The taste was just bland. I would have preferred some seasoning and salt. And of course, at the end, we got the bill for all the dishes we didn't get. Honestly, we can't recommend this restaurant, in terms of the food or the service.

15/06/2025: I got a walk in reservation around 6pm for later that night at 8pm on a Saturday in June. The restaurant was almost fully reserved by couples, families and groups. Grilled seafood was fantastic and the service excellent. Highly recommend to call ahead to make a reservation; they have one or two staff that speak English.

22/06/2025: Spectacular restaurant in Livorno, very good food, excellent service, great price for quality and quantity, the waiter Nicola is number 1, friendly but at the same time prepared, we will definitely be back

15/06/2025: We went to eat at this place after reading the positive reviews on various sites including tripadvisor and the fork, but dinner went just the opposite, once seated we ordered from the menu which included a few dishes, but as they say better a few but good, then we asked for a bottle of wine and they replied that they don't have bottled wine but only cask wine, and the first doubt already arose, then we took 4 appetizers from Angelo, and inside there were frozen mussels and stew, crostini with sauce from the jar, and anchovies with onion, which are the exact same ones sold by Lidl, 4 spaghetti allo scoglio, with mussels that smelled, so we left everything on the plate, in short we asked for the bill and we paid 30 euros each, I didn't want to reply and I paid because I'm a gentleman, but I won't set foot in this place again, I got carried away by curiosity and I passed by again after 2 hours and it was always full.....well

11/06/2025: Located on a white sandy beach w beautiful, crystal clear water. Amenities galore, tennis, paddle, golf, water sports, hiking trail…. We tried all 3 restaurants and they were all magnificent ( food quality, service, and amazing views). Looking forward to returning again.

11/06/2025: Spent two amazing nights at Hotel Hermitage in early June with my friends! The hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of white sandy beaches with crystal clear waters and breathtaking. Upon checking in, we were upgraded to the sea-view suites with two full bathrooms each! The rooms are clean and bright, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the authentic vibe and rich history of the island. We were pleasantly surprised to find that beach chaise lounges I reserved my room numbers, so there’s no need to head to the beach early in the morning to reserve your spots and there’s no worry about anyone taking your chairs if you leave the beach and come back later. To our relief, chairs are always assigned to you by your room number. There are four restaurants in the hotel, as well as a beachside lunch menu. We tried all four restaurants and ordered food to the beach, and not once were we disappointed. The food was excellent with some delicious and exquisite local staples, and the breakfast buffet was rich with lots of variety and healthy selections, as well as gluten-free options. The pool bar offers some excellent drinks too with sweeping views of the sea. The staff is extremely professional and courteous, promptly and accommodating, our needs and requests, and offering tips on where to go and what to do. They also have a full service spa should one feel like getting any treatments. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking to spend some relaxing time on the beach in a beautiful laid-back Italian seaside setting with magical sunset views. I’m grateful for the wonderful time we had there and the amazing service and treatment we received. The owner Gian Luca is attentive to his guests, making sure everyone is enjoying their time at the hotel. I would gladly go back there with friends or family.

18/05/2025: Absolutely avoid this restaurant. We were really disappointed. Very poor dishes, tasteless and cooked incorrectly, I won't go into detail because it would be really embarrassing. Many things on the menu were sold out, even the wet wipes. Not to mention the service.....totally non-existent!!!! We spent €180 and they didn't even give us the receipt with the details, they said otherwise we would have spent more!! STUNNED. Never again and never! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

08/05/2025: Very good pizzas! I took Quattro Stagione, ham and other fills were excellent. My wife took Frutti di Mare, she said it was best she has ever eaten so far! The service was pleasant and the atmosphere cozy and relaxed during Saturday evening.

21/06/2025: Always a sure thing, excellent food and wines… It is located in the center. Highly recommended.

07/06/2025: Wow, that was truly amazing. From the service—every dish on the menu and daily specials was explained to us—to the creativity and flavor of the dishes, to the ambiance of the restaurant. There was also a very broad wine selection. The staff also provided patient, detailed advice. The prices are a bit high, but absolutely reasonable considering the service. You get impressive Tuscan cuisine—congratulations!

22/06/2025: I am sorry to have to express a negative opinion, but my experience at Astragalo was disappointing. Despite the place being half empty, we waited more than thirty minutes before being able to order a simple drink, without receiving any explanation or apology from the staff. A slow and inattentive service that compromised our moment of relaxation. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment based on the treatment received.

25/06/2025: Beautiful location by the sea. Very friendly and helpful service staff. We only ate pizza with very good dough... and finished with a good sorbet

24/06/2025: We ordered 2 fettuccine with lobster as the special of the day. Gorgeous. Simple, clean, tasty and abundant recipe. Half a lobster, very fresh cherry tomatoes, excellent creaming, al dente, just the right amount of flavor, umami and creamy. 500g for €44 (for 2 people). With a nice half liter of house white wine and a sea view (I like to say "water the color of Verd'Elba") it was very invigorating. I highly recommend it. The managers and staff were very kind and helpful even for special needs. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

26/06/2025: Trattoria in the historic center of Piombino, well managed, for many years now, with attention and professionalism by Mrs. Patrizia. Typical Piombino cuisine of good quality, with excellent raw materials well prepared. Average prices. I absolutely recommend it.

25/06/2025: Very good and very helpful. The owner is attentive and very nice. The waiters are also very nice. :)

03/07/2025: There were 11 of us. They had room, but they didn't want to push tables together. Some of us had to sit separately inside. The grilled vegetables on one pizza were burnt and uneatable. The server commented: "It happens!" One pizza wasn't cooked through. Disappointing all in all!

01/07/2025: The food was delicious, we had a seafood salad, risotto and pizza. Everything was amazing. The staff was very nice, almost all the tables were occupied, many people booked their seats in advance. We managed to get there without a reservation 🙂

30/04/2025: buono il cibo ma il servizio non top. alle 20 il polpo non era pronto e nel menu c'erano almeno 3 piatti di polpo. quello che abbiamo ordinato molto buono.

24/04/2025: Op basis van de commentaren gekomen niet teleurgesteld . Het meisje van de bediening werkte haar eerste dag maar deed het heel goed en was supervriendelijk . Eerst antipasto czldo di mare en cozze alla marinara , daarna orecchietti alla pescatora en spaghetti alle vongole , daarna een gedeelde suggestie ( vongole , cozze , vis in een heerlijke saus ) . Afgesloten met een amaro van het eiland . Een echte aanrader en absoluut waar voor een zeer democratische prijs . Een aanrader !
