They explained every dish personally, sharing what made each one special and why they thought we’d love it. The space itself is stunning. Art installations and paintings by local artists cover the walls, making it as much a cultural experience as a culinary one. The food will surprise you in a way you won’t expect — one of those bites that takes you somewhere. The dessert was the highlight of the entire meal for me personally and something I’ll forever remember. David is in a category of its own. A permanent place in my heart. 25/03/2026: We booked at the last minute, and when we arrived, we were the only ones there. A little hesitant, we sat down and indulged in a Tuscan appetizer (a classic 1980s appetizer with pickled vegetables), a sliced ​​steak with arugula and parmesan, a squid ink risotto, spaghetti with mussels, and desserts. All very 1980s, but all delicious. I think they pair well with meat dishes. Late in the evening, the place started to fill up. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'll be back.

09/02/2026: We went as a couple this evening and had a divine meal! The fish was incredibly fresh and the staff were very welcoming and attentive to our every need. Excellent value for money! Definitely worth trying again.

05/04/2026: Easter lunch for three, exorbitantly overpriced for flavorless dishes full of parsley. The place was dimly lit, and I saw customers washing their dog's dirty bowl in the bathroom sink. We went for their renowned cacciucco, but there wasn't a trace of it on the menu. We won't be returning.

09/03/2026: Well, let me start by saying that the food is fabulous, the waiters are wonderful, everything is truly perfect... but in 2026, there has to be a POS, and it's not a choice, it's illegal. I don't even understand how they follow this policy, which, in fact, is not a choice, it's illegal. Then, you end up paying large sums in cash that no one has anymore... 3 stars just for this madness, otherwise, really 5 out of 5.

21/03/2026: As soon as you enter, the historic setting literally overwhelms you: there's quality in every picture that demonstrates it, appreciation in every framed compliment, everything is history and passion for what they do here. I love raw fish and I don't think I've ever eaten it as good and fresh as at this place: the amberjack fillets, the tuna marinated in mint and pink pepper, an attention to the raw materials I haven't found in a long time... and I paid far too little for how good it was! The gnocchi with sea bream is truly a treat! And then the service: finally in 2026, a waiter without a tablet, without a notebook, who watches you and advises you, who pampers you like a member of the family would, you can tell he's happy to make you feel good. And that's exactly what happened. My husband and I had a better time this evening than at home, we ate with the care of a "grandmother's lunch" and our hearts were warmed as only a historic restaurant could. We'll definitely be back!

15/03/2026: We went for lunch today. The place is very quaint, but it's a shame it's a bit shabby. It's outdone by the fresh, beautifully cooked fish. The cacciucco was truly excellent. The service was very attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back and recommend it.

13/10/2025: Discovered by chance, at the end of a FAI day that took us to the historic village of Campiglia Marittima. A delightful, well-maintained place, with courteous and professional service. Excellent cuisine and value, with a carefully curated and well-curated wine selection. An original, yet unpretentious menu. Solid cuisine, excellent presentation, a wonderful experience. We'll gladly try it again in the spring.

08/04/2026: I made a reservation by phone 2 days in advance, letting them know that my wife is vegan. "No problem, we're equipped." The result: NOTHING on the menu. The embarrassed waiter said, "I can make a salad without the egg and mozzarella."!!! That's not going to work. You could have told me, we would have stayed at the Agriturismo!

Really tiny dishes and high prices, we all left hungry, even the children... shameful, pasta with clams with 7/8 clams and not even 80 grams of pasta, penne with scampi with 2 scampi, dishes from 17 euros 18 euros.... the fried food was ridiculous given how small it was... they will never see us again

21/03/2026: I went to lunch today with a group of friends at this trattoria I'd heard so much about. The menu is 15 euros for a first course, second course, and side dish. More than the food, you'll remember the experience for the staff, especially Michele, who keeps you on track with his voice and amazes you with his memory. He doesn't write down; he listens, memorizes, and never misses a beat! The fixed price is truly inviting, the portions are generous, the house wine is good, and the punch is very good! We had a great time, even though the wait was long. I recommend booking, otherwise you're out of luck.
