20/07/2025: Se vuoi mangiare dell’ottimo pesce, ma non vuoi andare al ristorante, perché anche da casa mentre mangi si vede il mare, se non vuoi cucinare mentre sei in vacanza a Capoliveri e dintorni… questa gastronomia di pesce fa al caso tuo. Nelle ultime vacanze abbiamo provato praticamente tutto il menù e per gusto personale faccio fatica a scegliere un preferito…forse il risotto di mare, forse le cozze, forse i totani ripieni o forse i calamari alla diavola o forse ancora il polpo alla Luciana. Grazie alla gentilezza dei titolari per la disponibilità e l’ironia elbana! Da provare! Se non trovate posto per la macchina pazientate…l’attesa vale il piatto!

16/07/2025: Sughi più gustosi e saporiti che nei ristoranti! Pesce tutto freschissimo e ben cucinato. Prezzi nella norma, personale super cortese. Da tornarci assolutamente

13/07/2025: Ci siamo fermati al ritorno da un viaggio visto che si trova a 500 metri dall' uscita autostradale spinti dalle buone recensioni. Locale molto grande, porzioni giganti e prezzi medio bassi, servizio rapido e gentile

24/07/2025: A classic establishment with a provincial and backward mentality. I tried to dine at this restaurant, but was rudely and impolitely told there were no tables available (of course they did), but simply because I was alone. In their "emancipated entrepreneurial vision," they still believe that giving a table to just one person is a financial loss. I wasn't offered a chance to return later, much less a reservation for the following day. Therefore, I thank you for your kindness, and I just want to let you know that I'm not a tourist passing through, but a recent move to the city. I work in the largest hotel in Tirrenia (and I'm certainly not a dishwasher), and that I'll certainly be able to provide my customers with adequate feedback about your establishment. Hi, you guys!

08/08/2025: We’ve been coming to Calanova for years, and it’s never once slipped. Sometimes it’s a pleasant, lazy lunch to celebrate something, sometimes a romantic evening when the light’s just right, and sometimes for no reason at all, other than knowing it’s going to be good. It’s hard to beat the setting: tables under old cork trees, the sea right there, and that quiet elegance that doesn’t try too hard. The menu changes with the catch, but there are standouts we always look forward to: the fresh, crisp misticanza, perfectly cooked verdesca, honey-glazed octopus, paccheri with monkfish, pink grapefruit and olive powder, a tiramisù worth guarding with your life, and the caffè gourmand, which is really just permission to have dessert twice. Service is warm, switched-on and never over the top. After so many visits, the only thing that’s changed is how quickly we book the next one.

03/08/2025: Un tempo era quel che sembrava. Un bel ristorante sulla spiaggia. Poi hanno ridotto le porzioni inserito piatti improbabili adottato la ‘r’ moscia e son piu cari di Milano.

21/07/2025: Seafront property with an adjoining beach. The seafront rooms are good, with a wonderful view, but the bathroom is small and the windows are dated. I had chosen half-board but decided against it due to both the food and the location. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and delicious food. The beach is excellent, very well-kept and clean, and the staff is very attentive and always available. A special mention goes to Elena, who is always available and does a great job at the front desk. We'll definitely be back.

18/07/2025: Everything is geared towards speed, not customer service. Kindness and courtesy are completely absent. The quality of the food is extremely low, the fish has never seen the sea, the pizza is a serious insult to even call it that, and the wines are subpar. Not to mention the cover charge, which doesn't even cost €5 per person in a three-Michelin-star restaurant. For this kind of service and the quality of the dishes, leaving aside the cover charge, it shouldn't even be called a restaurant, but a paid feeder.

30/06/2025: What can I say? An oasis on the hottest day as a break on a return journey, I hope to return... too bad that the navigators do not recognize the address and make you waste time...

20/06/2025: For me it's the place of the heart, everything is perfect!!! I would come more often, but I live too far away, I have to settle for once or twice a year. Superlative dishes, top staff!!! 🤩The little church of Santa Lucia was a great comfort to me! 😍

09/08/2025: A pizzeria in the Scandicci area, nothing memorable. The pizza is good but average. The service is friendly, if a bit disorganized, and the place is decidedly dated. Overall, though, I'd call it a decent place, open late, and offering a fair price-quality ratio. If you're hungry and don't have too many expectations, and you're in the area, you certainly won't be disappointed.

25/05/2025: We have been to this place twice, once eating fish and once pizza. We found everything very good, but in particular the pizza is really excellent: thin but crunchy and with quality toppings. The staff is very kind and professional. In the summer there is more space in the garden. We will definitely be back!

31/07/2025: Our family and I stayed at this campsite (tent) for five nights in July. It offers spacious pitches with plenty of shade. The friendly lady at reception let us choose our own. I think the campsite is only half full, which is actually quite remarkable. However, it also offers a wonderful sense of peace and quiet. Lots of families, so the kids had plenty of others to play with. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated but are constantly cleaned by a lady, which is very pleasant and contributes to a "clean experience." The village of Sarteano is worth a walk. There are plenty of other places to visit in the beautiful surrounding area. Three swimming pools: something for everyone, with lifeguards, plenty of sunbeds, and clean! In other reviews, I read complaints about the "rules." I didn't experience that at all; it's short and to the point. I would recommend this campsite if you appreciate the above aspects. If you're looking for a bit more activity and entertainment, I wouldn't choose this campsite.

28/06/2025: Too bad. We had been there two years ago and had eaten a memorable risotto. The same dish, tonight, was something else entirely. Even the so-called cutting board was below average for what you can taste in the area. Too bad, really.

22/06/2025: I stayed here for one night, I can't say much, comfortable rooms, dinner maybe I found it a bad day, I expected more, excellent and abundant breakfast, impeccable service.

15/06/2025: Ci eravamo venuti più volte a cena e siamo stati sempre benissimo. La sala con il camino in inverno è qualcosa di magico. Così abbiamo deciso di festeggiare qua il battesimo di nostro figlio oggi. Il salone grande è stupendo . Prezzi ottimi e soprattutto cibo ottimo e servizio gentilissimo . Solo ieri ci han fatto il piacere di togliere 5 persone all'ultimo . Buonissimo il risotto agli asparagi,i tortelli burrata e pomodorini e tutto il resto . Ottimo il dolce. Staff gentilissimo. 30/05/2025: Great restaurant. I celebrated my birthday here and they reserved a room just for us. Super kind and super attentive staff, the water, wine and bread were replaced every time we needed them without having to call them ourselves. Very good and plentiful food. A beautiful memory of my 25 years.❤️
