28/09/2025: During our trip to Monferraglia, we went to this restaurant for dinner. As soon as we entered, we were a bit perplexed by the quality of the place, given that the chairs and tables were truly old, and the entire decor was dated. That said, two very polite and kind ladies sat us at our table, and they listed and explained the entire menu to us. Once the food arrived, we immediately dug into these delicacies. The classic charcuterie board and the tagliata. Truly excellent food and excellent service. We'll be back.

06/09/2025: The place is lovely, and the surrounding sea is truly beautiful. It's worth returning for the beach. The welcome was minimal, nothing particularly warm, but it was average. We had an average cappuccino (€2) and a breaded cutlet sandwich (€7). Considering that the cutlet was pre-cooked, supermarket-quality, and not freshly prepared, the price seems decidedly excessive, even for August. It's therefore best to bring your own food, or at most, get a coffee—perhaps—for €2.50. Overall, the place is worth it for its natural beauty, but the facilities have a lot of room for improvement and give the impression of being exploited for seasonal prices.

20/08/2025: I don't want to be wrong, but the quality of the dishes seems to have dropped since the old Pollastri moved from Segromigno Monte to Lappato. Furthermore, the service doesn't seem to be as attentive anymore, since on Saturday evening, we were placed in an internal room, when everyone else was seated outside and once dinner was finished, we were abandoned for more than 20 minutes, before getting up and asking the waitress to kindly bring us the dessert menu. In the old place I used to eat risotto alla pescatore, one of my favorite dishes, but it's a shame that since they moved, it's no longer possible to order risotto for just one person (which isn't specified on the menu), a choice that I find absurd, since by doing so, you force people to order different dishes that they might not like at that moment. I don't want to be argumentative, but when I go to dinner I would at least like to be able to order what I want since I'm paying. Last time I opted for spaghetti with clams, which I found to be flavorless and very dry, almost dry. The island-style sea bream was good, I must say, and the baked vegetables were delicious. It's a shame about the risotto and the lackluster service. The price is reasonable.

21/09/2025: Excellent restaurant, truly courteous service, ready to accommodate any request, the fish is very fresh, and the desserts are extraordinary. The price is also very good. I haven't tried the pizza, but the food is amazing. The owners are very attentive and friendly. Definitely worth a try.

10/09/2025: I've never seen fresher fish anywhere. The wine list is outstanding. I've been to many restaurants in my life. We've been vacationing in this area for four years and each time we consider going here only twice a week. We can't manage it because this restaurant is open for lunch and dinner all year round. This is no understatement: it's the best restaurant in the world.

20/09/2025: A family-friendly place with excellent value (excellent) for the price (fair). Everything was delicious, the wine list was adequate, and the dessert was dreamy. We'll be back because it's worth it!!!

15/09/2025: Great place. I went with my boyfriend, who is allergic to shellfish, and they gave us a lot of attention and care (a pot of hot water to cook pasta just for him). The staff were very kind and courteous. We'll definitely be back!

21/09/2025: I won't say how much I spent in total, because I've eaten that amount elsewhere and left satisfied with what I ate. Paying €40 for two risottos where you had to search for the rice grains hidden between a mussel, two shrimp, and four clams seems excessive to me. When you then realize the portion at the next table is larger, you feel cheated. Likewise, €30 for a fried dish that also included cheap vegetables and sardines, considered a low-cost fish, seems excessive. And finally, when I came to pay, I was told they even gave me a discount because they made me wait. I was even too kind to give it two stars.

15/08/2025: It was a wonderful discovery, with dishes worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, showcasing sophisticated combinations and meticulous preparation, all in a waterfront setting and at fair prices. The staff was truly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

13/09/2025: Too many customers for the number of seats. They can't manage orders properly. The pizzas are too thin. There's a crazy line to pay and get out. (There were about twenty of us for a pizza tour on a Saturday night.)

25/09/2025: Exquisite dishes, a traditional menu, and excellent service. The restaurant is very beautiful and quaint, located in an old convent in the upper part of Scarlino. Recommended.

25/09/2025: The location and panoramic view are stunning, but the decor isn't the most refined—you could even find it at a local festival. The fish is very good, both the first courses, appetizers, and main courses... the desserts aren't up to par with the rest of the menu. Prices are slightly on the high side. The staff is young and very friendly.

05/10/2025: We received 8 hamburger sandwiches + 1 salmon (wrong, I never ordered a fish sandwich) ALL COMPLETELY RAW, NOT rare! Since we all eat meat, even tartare or rare. It was absolutely raw. After calling the restaurant to inform them of what happened, Ms. Jessica took the liberty of completely contradicting the 8 customers, without even raising the slightest doubt about the possibility of incorrect cooking. Moreover, these were customers who had already been to the restaurant and found it good. But, after the employee's unprofessional and unsympathetic behavior, I think there is a risk of losing customers, and it's truly a shame. You should reprimand the lady because you don't react to the public by responding rudely, raising your voice on the phone, questioning the customer without proof and with arrogance. Especially after an order of over €90. I feel very sorry for the restaurant.

17/09/2025: Excellent location on the seafront. A quiet setting where you can enjoy lunch or dinner by the sea, very professional and courteous service, and very unique and elaborate dishes, but in my opinion, they don't capture the typical Elban flavors of the area.

31/08/2025: An elegant restaurant in Portoferraio's historic center, complete with a summer terrace. The tuna tartare, the pecorino paccheri with mussels, and the brandy-infused prawns are excellent. The deconstructed millefeuille is a must-try. Friendly and fast service, reasonable prices. Recommended!

09/09/2025: The croissants are excellent, but they sell out quickly! The staff is friendly and smiling. The cappuccino is good. The wine and, above all, the place is frequented by people who are always ready for a chat and a laugh. I stop by whenever I pass by. I recommend it.

14/06/2025: Posto eccezionale!! Si trova proprio dentro le mura di Giglio Castello e mi ha colpito per la professionalità e cordialità del personale, sempre attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Pizze buonissime e location suggestiva, immersa tra i vicoli! Tornerò sicuramente!
