The four of us went to the Osteria Gallo Nero twice to eat, no, enjoy! A warm welcome from the very friendly and knowledgeable maître, as well as the friendly and expert support from the female specialist staff, make the evenings a culinary and cultural highlight! We had a great meal here while staying nearby, dishes are a bit different from the usual fare but all the better for that, very good service, nice wine list, thoroughly recommended. A bit pricier than average, but well worth it

Extensive menu with creative fish dishes but also meat We had. The fish tasting special (for two) and then linguine polpo ragout in tomato sauce (very tasty) and gnocchi with octopus and porcini mushrooms (also nice but not too flavorful) Dessert was mega - torta chocolate and semifredo al pistachio (a dream!!)

Una ottima osteria gourmet, interessanti le reinterpretazioni dei classici Elbani. Consiglio infatti per chi vuole provare diversi assaggi dell’isola il loro antipasto fantasia. Bella anche la Location esterna, complimenti.

Abbiamo passato una piacevole serata degustando ottimi piatti a base di pesce, molto curati nella preparazione e nella presentazione. Abbiamo cenato fuori e l'unica pecca è stata il caldo. Ma di questo non possiamo ritenere responsabile il locale. È un locale che non ho problemi a consigliare. Grazie

02/04/2024: Saturday 30/3/'24. Three of us had lunch (plus our Nove, who was very welcome) in this wonderful place... Wonderful location, very kind staff and chef, with exemplary attention to detail, and I'm not talking about luxury, but rather attention to detail. They made us feel at home... It's been a lifetime since I found the entrée, otherwise the food can only be described in one word: excellent. We will definitely be back as soon as possible. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a different place than usual. Thank you so much. Sincerely, Cristina.

22/10/2023: Very good food at fair prices. Recommended for lunch breaks, for consumption on site or to take away. Right value for money.
17/09/2023: Taking a tour of the shopping center we discovered the rotisserie by chance, attracted by the menu list we entered, I must say that what we tried was excellent and of high quality. It's a shame we discovered the rotisserie too late, they were closing for the week and we were leaving. Honest prices. Compliments!
