11/06/2025: Spent two amazing nights at Hotel Hermitage in early June with my friends! The hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of white sandy beaches with crystal clear waters and breathtaking. Upon checking in, we were upgraded to the sea-view suites with two full bathrooms each! The rooms are clean and bright, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the authentic vibe and rich history of the island. We were pleasantly surprised to find that beach chaise lounges I reserved my room numbers, so there’s no need to head to the beach early in the morning to reserve your spots and there’s no worry about anyone taking your chairs if you leave the beach and come back later. To our relief, chairs are always assigned to you by your room number. There are four restaurants in the hotel, as well as a beachside lunch menu. We tried all four restaurants and ordered food to the beach, and not once were we disappointed. The food was excellent with some delicious and exquisite local staples, and the breakfast buffet was rich with lots of variety and healthy selections, as well as gluten-free options. The pool bar offers some excellent drinks too with sweeping views of the sea. The staff is extremely professional and courteous, promptly and accommodating, our needs and requests, and offering tips on where to go and what to do. They also have a full service spa should one feel like getting any treatments. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking to spend some relaxing time on the beach in a beautiful laid-back Italian seaside setting with magical sunset views. I’m grateful for the wonderful time we had there and the amazing service and treatment we received. The owner Gian Luca is attentive to his guests, making sure everyone is enjoying their time at the hotel. I would gladly go back there with friends or family.

11/06/2025: Located on a white sandy beach w beautiful, crystal clear water. Amenities galore, tennis, paddle, golf, water sports, hiking trail…. We tried all 3 restaurants and they were all magnificent ( food quality, service, and amazing views). Looking forward to returning again.

04/06/2025: Arrivati per pranzo prima di andare in spiaggia, posto carino, mangiare superlativo. Impepata di cozze più buona della mia vita e due primi, scoglio e vongole con colatura di alici veramente supremi. Prezzo giustissimo. ci torneremo sicuramente.

21/04/2025: we went to the restaurant bar. We had a beer. We paid cash with 7 euros and the boy gave us one euro in change and didn't give us a receipt. Then we had two more beers and the guy then asked us to pay for 3 beers because he didn't remember that we had already paid for the first one. We told him we had already paid. After 5 minutes he came back and asked us to pay again. We repeated that we had already paid but not having given us a receipt we couldn't prove it. He went away and then looked at us and muttered "c.... or look" with a threatening expression, as if he wanted to get into a fight. Something I've never seen from a bartender If he has no memory at least print the receipts. bad experience for 3 beers of 33 paid 18 euros.

15/06/2025: Eravamo un grande tavolo di circa 13/14 persone. Abbiamo cercato di ordinare tutti lo stesso piatto per semplificare il lavoro. Risultato? Un primo alle arselle con presenza di pietre nel piatto, la grigliata per fortuna era discreta. Porzioni a mio avviso insufficienti considerando il numero di persone. Infine conto molto salato. Sicuramente non tonero' piu'.

05/04/2025: La location è decisamente scadente (su uno stradone vista capannoni, del mare nessuna traccia), l'arredo e la qualità dei piatti sono discreti, così come il rapporto qualità/prezzo, ma le porzioni sono estremamente ridotte (i nostri spaghetti saranno stati si e no 60 grammi...) e soprattutto ciò che proprio non mi è piaciuto è stata la mancanza di cortesia e professionalità delle titolari. Forse la sera che siamo capitati noi avevano la luna storta...

04/06/2025: Booked on 5/27/25 I arrive at the beach and find it closed. Wednesday, June 4. Speaking to an employee they tell me that the owner tried to call you but you didn't answer, next time you have to answer. I won't say anything else.

26/05/2025: The location is very very beautiful, unfortunately having called 1 day before we managed to find a place but unfortunately not outside. Quality ingredients and really good. The pizza was good, if I have to make some clarifications I would say that in my opinion the artichoke did not feel the presence and taste of artichokes so even though it was good it was a bit unknown. The Campagna Viva was my favorite, very good but even here if I have to make a clarification the nduja could not be felt at all and it almost seemed like just tomato drops. The Norma was good, I asked the waitress if I could do half without the grated sheep cheese at the end and she said no.. it did not seem very elegant or an impossible request. Another clarification as soon as we finished dinner the waiters came IMMEDIATELY after 1 minute to take away our plates. I do not think it is seen well by the customer because it sends the message of "wanting to get him up from the table immediately". Overall a very quiet place and it was a pleasant evening!

08/06/2025: A well-kept and informal place in the center of Marina di Pietrasanta (Tonfano). Very kind staff. Very good and digestible pizzas. I ate a spectacular spaghetti with clams. Excellent quality/price ratio. Highly recommended

17/05/2025: Lunch with friends overlooking the sea. Very good dishes and right quantities. Quality fish and honest price. Excellent scampi and burrata gnocchi, but also the spaghetti with clams really tasty. We had such a good time that we came back!

We enjoyed a perfectly grilled whole fish served with a crisp salad and a side of golden fries. The tuna steak, lightly seared and seasoned just right, was another highlight—tender and full of flavor, complemented by fresh arugula and cherry tomatoes. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The only reason for not giving a full five stars is that while the dishes were excellent, they could benefit from a bit more creativity in presentation or flavor variety to truly stand out in the competitive coastal dining scene. Still, with the quality of ingredients, the welcoming atmosphere, and that stunning view of the sea, Ristorante La Riva is absolutely worth a visit.

24/05/2025: You can't recommend this place... And you can't help but review it as soon as you leave. Sublime welcome from the owner himself, who made us sit down and always made sure everything went well, the food was worth it with very honest prices. Abundant portions. In short, you have your cake and eat it! We were 3 people and we took 3 different main courses, appetizer and drinks and we paid an average of 20 euros per person. We will definitely return, they are worth it, in a city full of places where you can have dinner, they make the difference!!! Congratulations and see you soon!

10/06/2025: Came to the restaurant for a spot of lunch before I took a day trip to lucca, took a seat in the patio area and the service was prompt and my order was taking quickly. That's where things changed. As I waited for over 50 minutes for my order, other tables were seated, and watched as they were handed various breads to eat and I was left unattended. This was most likely due to the fact i was visiting alone.
