01/02/2026: Humiliating: Allergies Treated Like a Fault A terrible experience, from every perspective. We arrived with a reservation at 9:30 PM and were still made to wait outside for about half an hour. Once seated, I immediately told the waitress that I was allergic to milk proteins (casein), a serious allergy, and simply asked if it was possible to have a fried appetizer with sauce only and a marinara pizza, a request I routinely make at many pizzerias without any problem. The response was disconcerting: I was told that the environment was "totally contaminated," that the pizza counter wasn't cleaned, that all the fried foods were cooked in the same vat with the same oil, and that they couldn't afford to waste time looking after me. As if that weren't enough, I was even told that I should have called before coming to inform them of my allergy, as if I were "sick" or as if I were entering a dairy farm and not a pizzeria. An inappropriate and deeply unpleasant statement. No alternative was offered, no availability, no attention: essentially, I was made to understand that I wouldn't be able to eat anything and that the best solution was to leave. I understand that a restaurant may not be equipped to handle allergies, but here the problem wasn't the "we can't guarantee" response, but rather the tone, the attitude, and the admission of questionable practices, even from a hygiene standpoint. Being told that a counter isn't cleaned is frankly unacceptable. I felt treated like an inconvenience, not like a customer. A humiliating and disappointing experience. Not recommended to anyone with allergies or even expecting a modicum of respect.

25/09/2025: Exquisite dishes, a traditional menu, and excellent service. The restaurant is very beautiful and quaint, located in an old convent in the upper part of Scarlino. Recommended.

25/09/2025: The location and panoramic view are stunning, but the decor isn't the most refined—you could even find it at a local festival. The fish is very good, both the first courses, appetizers, and main courses... the desserts aren't up to par with the rest of the menu. Prices are slightly on the high side. The staff is young and very friendly.

15/01/2026: The pizza was missing salt from the dough, the service was slow, the atmosphere was ordinary, parking spaces were a mess finding a spot on the street.

17/12/2025: What can I say... a place where the food is the absolute star! The menu offers a wide variety of fresh, well-prepared dishes. The pappa al pomodoro is exquisite, the cod Livorno-style is delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by the mushroom appetizer... truly mouth-watering! The staff is also very kind, friendly, and charming. There's no doubt we'll be back soon; I'm also curious to try the pizzas, which they say are truly delicious!

26/09/2025: Beautiful restaurant in the winding streets of Capoliveri. Great interior, it's almost like sitting in grandma's kitchen. Dining here is definitely a feast for the eyes. The delicious dishes are prepared and served with love. They also serve excellent wines. In our opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in Capoliveri. Reservations recommended.

27/07/2025: In a very simple setting (but with a cloth tablecloth), the menu offers a few courses that vary throughout the weeks. It's mostly fish, but also features a few meat dishes. I go there about once a year and always enjoy the well-prepared dishes, whether it's the traditional fried fish or the chef's more unusual creations. The informal but always friendly waiters make guests feel at ease.

28/12/2025: There was some confusion around how much of the steak we ordered .5 vs 1.5 kilo they discounted us to .5 We ordered an assortment of dishes, all were delicious. Very reasonably priced.

15/12/2025: It's been a while since I've been there, and I found the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The food was excellent. They don't always make it, but if they have it (and ask beforehand because it requires preparation), definitely try the orange soufflé.
