06/06/2026: Review Idea: Title: Breakfast and Lunch with Friends We started with a delicious dessert. Yes, we'd mistimed an event and were passing by the restaurant around 9:00 AM. Chef Mara welcomed us with extraordinary kindness, offering us a stunning Linzer torte and excellent coffee. She told us about her dishes, the freshest ingredients she uses, and how they bake for up to 54 hours. We couldn't help but return for lunch! We had the roasted amberjack with gin-infused vegetables and green apple: a delight with perfectly balanced flavors. We then indulged in some melt-in-the-mouth donuts. Kindness, professionalism, attention to detail, quality. We'll be back soon!

12/08/2026: We were very disappointed. The bruschetta was extremely small for €12. During our trip through Italy, we ate bruschetta in many restaurants – it was cheaper everywhere, and the portions were significantly larger. In our opinion, the value for money here is completely off. The fish platter was fresh and okay, but it was very bland and under-seasoned. We expected much more for the price. On a positive note, we would like to commend the waiters. They were friendly and tried their best, but they were clearly very busy, so we got the impression that they were completely overwhelmed. Overall, we unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant. We are particularly annoyed that we didn't take any photos out of disappointment. In hindsight, we wish we had, so other guests could see for themselves the quality and portion sizes. For us, the visit was a disappointment. Yes, we were definitely there.

20/08/2026: I'm updating my review to last night August 19, 2026 and... I CONFIRM EVERYTHING!!! Try the spicy chocolate dessert! I could have eaten 10 of them! After 2 years, the pizza with n'duja remains the food of the gods!!! ONCE AGAIN, WE ATE LIKE GODS!!! Pizza n'duja, Stracciatella, Taggiasca olives, and dried tomatoes...Ladies and gentlemen...the food of the gods...we're always on the lookout for good pizza...and here...the pizza is absolute...I also tried the BACCALINI WITH MUSSEL RAGÙ...truly fantastic...Mascarpone cream with biscotti...sublime...impeccable and friendly service...excellent menu...nice, easy-going people...Well done...Well done!! 08-24-2023 We're back here and we reiterate our review......fantastic staff and food of the gods......thank you!!!!

28/07/2026: A fairly positive experience until the bill arrived. Don't order fish and wine that isn't clearly priced on the menu without asking carefully. The price was absurd for the type of restaurant and what we ordered, and completely out of line with the prices of the dishes and wines seen on the menu. We didn't even try to discuss it because the owner who "welcomes" and is at the counter was very cold and unfriendly, and all we needed was the stress of an argument. The only redeeming factor of the evening was the young waitress, who was kind and warm, although perhaps she could have been more transparent about the prices of the wine and fish when ordering. We've been coming to Castiglione every summer for decades, and every now and then we make the mistake of trying a few restaurants in town to change our routine from our longtime favorites in the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, each time we remember why it's worth the half-hour drive to find more refined cuisine, less touristy service, and more honest bills.

24/07/2026: Prices are ok, food was delicious. I can really reccommend the six fish plate as an appettizer. Personally I loved the Gnocchetti with the catch of the day 😍

12/08/2026: The place is welcoming, the outdoor space is lovely, the service is excellent, the pizza could be improved. The ingredients seemed top-quality, but the dough was a bit tough and difficult to cut, the mozzarella on the base was a bit dry, the buffalo mozzarella was excellent, but the leavening and/or cooking could be improved. The price is medium-low.

13/08/2026: The atmosphere is simple but pleasant, and the lady at the front desk was kind. Unfortunately, however, the chef in charge of frying the fish was very rude and unpleasant. As for the food, the fried fish was very greasy and of rather mediocre quality. I honestly don't understand why it's so famous for its fried fish: I definitely expected more.

24/08/2026: I'm halfway satisfied with my experience at this restaurant in Forte dei Marmi. The location is enchanting, beautifully decorated, and welcoming. I was perplexed by what I ate, or rather, I didn't particularly like it in itself. I tried the tuna steak as an appetizer, and it wasn't very tasty. I expected better, but the disappointment was the tagliolini with scampi and truffle. In my opinion, it was overcooked and not homemade. The scampi wasn't very noticeable either, but the truffle "saved" the dish. Both the shrimp carpaccio and the seafood pasta my girlfriend ordered were very good. The staff is very kind, but not always attentive. I waited over 20 minutes for my coffee (which hadn't been marked) and the bill. Prices are in line with the location and the town.

20/08/2026: Disappointing experience. I found the prices very high for what I received. I ordered a fish steak with tomato sauce, but the portion was really small and I left still hungry. The ice cream also seemed overpriced and nothing exceptional. Furthermore, after paying for an already expensive gazebo, I was told to change in the bathroom instead of a changing room. The service was decent, but overall the value for money wasn't up to par. I hope they can improve. The location didn't meet my expectations.

16/05/2026: The drinks menu was interesting, the service was excellent, and the complimentary chips were delicious. I recommend the Lychee cocktail; it's great!

13/04/2026: The cocktails looked interesting from the photos, but when we went there on a Saturday night with a group of friends, hoping for a post-dinner drink, we saw that it was closed even though it was advertised as open. Quite a disappointment.

13/08/2026: Restaurant near the port of Carrara in a very popular area. A modern location suited to a seafood restaurant. Impeccable service. Six of us ordered different dishes. I had the stuffed mussels, which were a bit disappointing compared to other restaurants/osterie in the area. The mixed fried fish was very good. I tried the fried shrimp, calamari, and vegetables...good. I also tried the bavette with gurnard ragù, which was more than excellent; it's a shame I didn't order it. The tiramisu was good, although I thought the portion was a bit small. I also recommend the apple pie. For wine, the Ferrari brut and a Ligurian Pigato. The price is in line with a medium-high quality restaurant.

20/08/2026: If you are looking for a good restaurant in Florence, especially one for meat, but are worried about searching everywhere and having a strange experience, just come here safely. It seems to be part of the same chain as the famous places (including Nutti and 4-5 others), and first of all, the food is delicious and the service is friendly. Also, since more than half of the customers are Asian (Korean), there is absolutely no discrimination; everyone is kind and the food is great.

18/08/2026: Excellent experience, well-organized restaurant, super friendly and professional staff. Wide selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses. They specialize in steak (not cheap, €90 per kg). We had a Chianina steak with roast potatoes on the side. The cheesecake was also good. The food was very good, and despite the high prices, unlike many places in the center that rip off tourists, the quality is high. We're talking about €60 or a little more per person. I would go back and recommend it.
