10/05/2026: Sunday dinner. Not many options in this part of town. This place came up in our search. Close to our hotel. Totally enjoyed our pizza with prosciutto. Spaghetti alo scoglio was superb. Service was fantastic!

19/05/2026: This restaurant was recommended to me by someone who was a local in Florence however when I went in and said at the table I was surprised to find out how very limited the menu was no brada in the middle of Florence. I can signed myself to go ahead and get something anyway because I was so hungry and then I waited and waited and waited and waited and I finally just left someone said I'll be back but they never came back.

The prices are in line with the food.

23/04/2026: Il Rustico is always a guaranteed place, where once a year a group of colleagues and I travel from Milan for lunch. The family-run restaurant, with its typically 1980s decor, serves traditional Tuscan cuisine, dominated by Her Majesty the Florentine steak, cooked to perfection by Chef Cesare, expertly assisted by his wife, who manages the dining room with punctuality and discretion. After the meal, in addition to their homemade desserts, I recommend a stroll through the charming village. The quality/price ratio is excellent, making it worth the trip.

Iβm a little truffle obsessed and since being back in Italy, Iβve been on the search for the perfect truffle pasta. This is the first restaurant who got the balance of flavours just right. Combined with fantastic service and a warm, inviting atmosphere, I cannot recommend it enough π

29/04/2026: I always love going back. I went twice last week. Once alone and the food was divine. The second time with a guest. The fish (pezzogna) didn't satisfy me like the first time. It wasn't very fresh. The restaurant isn't cheap; paying so much for fish that isn't fresh that day isn't acceptable. What a shame! Next time I'm in Marciana, I'll go elsewhere... I'll try other options.

The pizzas are truly fantastic, with a light dough and top-quality ingredients. Special mention goes to the vegetarian option: the "Asymtomatica" pizza is a must, bursting with flavor with its buffalo mozzarella base, broccoli rabe, and delicious sun-dried tomatoes topping it all off. The setting is well-kept and very welcoming, with a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and professional. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended!
