09/05/2026: I've been to Zwooooo Due twice. The first time, I bought a bottle of wine – I only planned to eat half of it and enjoyed the rest the next day! The first evening was supposed to start with mussels, but it was a bit of a linguistic tangle as I was unable to speak Italian. The maestro (Capocuoco) explained this and that to me, and I nodded politely! Then came the amazing meal! Grilled and fried fish and seafood. See the picture! Absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, it was still chilly, as is typical for early May, and I didn't have a jacket with me! So, I brought a jacket! On the second day – mussels! Incredibly good (sautéed). At my request, I also got grilled swordfish and pasta (busati or something similar) with fish! So, I was extremely satisfied. Another reviewer wrote: Simply furnished. I can only agree. BUT SUPER PROPER AND EXTREMELY CLEAN!!!!! I THINK IT WAS VERY GOOD

02/05/2026: Nice place, clean and well-kept. The staff at the tables and the kitchen were excellent. I had a really good meal; the bottarga was excellent, and the stuffed calamari was delicious. I'll definitely be back.

16/04/2026: We had the restaurant recommended to us so we gave it a try. It was disappointing on many fronts. The appetizer that was a sampling of items was poor in many respects, the most import of which was that it just was not the quality and the flavors that we’ve had from other similar dishes at other restaurants in the area. After the appetizer, my husband had a pasta with mixed shellfish, and I had a risotto dish with shrimp. That course was fine, but nothing remarkable. The staff was attentive, they spoke some English, however, were dressed like they came from a casual outing with friends. It was acceptable for our quick casual dinner, but not a place we would return to.

05/05/2026: It's very serious that a restaurant in the center doesn't accept American Express, the pasta was overcooked and we had lunch next to a whining child (the son of the waiter in the dining room) who ate while listening to cartoon songs blasted from his mother's phone... I felt embarrassed for them😅 More than a restaurant, I'd say it's a low-level inn...

18/08/2025: A simply unforgettable dinner in the heart of Ortigia! We started with a breathtaking appetizer: a fresh, flavorful, and top-quality tuna tartare, which immediately raised the bar. Then came the fried fish: crispy, light, perfectly executed, and accompanied by a truly amazing sauce. But the real spectacle came with the first courses: the shrimp and pistachio spaghetti was an explosion of flavor with every bite—sea and land came together in an embrace that was almost touching. And then... the sea urchin carbonara. Words are insane. A dish worthy of UNESCO World Heritage status, a unique and perfectly balanced combination that deserves every possible applause. The staff? Simply exceptional. The chef deserves an award, and the chef's wife was exceptionally kind, always with a sincere and welcoming smile. We left the restaurant so satisfied that we wanted to take up residence nearby, just to return more often. An experience that goes far beyond just eating: here, you can experience a passion for cooking. Highly recommended!

18/08/2025: Elegant atmosphere, very friendly staff, and excellent food. Definitely worth returning. N.B.: They'll soon be changing their name from "Perle d'Ortigia" to "Osteria Illuminata," but the chef will remain the same. Highly recommended.

02/05/2026: When we arrived at the table, we were greeted with peanuts and hard-boiled eggs—excellent! The atmosphere was familiar and welcoming, and the owner and the service were all very attentive to their guests' needs. The meat was high-quality and exquisitely cooked; I loved the horse meat! We ate fillets, horse and donkey meatballs, potatoes, arrosticini, and veal palermitana, along with house wine, for a reasonable bill of €80. We'd definitely return!

21/03/2026: Dinner for two: an appetizer and two fish main courses. The appetizer was a shame: a cold, lackluster, and lackluster mixed fried fish... but it's still a place worth a visit.

15/03/2026: Fishmonger's restaurant: we stopped here for the first time on instinct. The owners were delightful, there was a tank with all kinds of shellfish (including American clams). The place was clean, the staff friendly, and everything from the appetizer to the first and second courses was truly delicious, leaving a scent of the sea. For anyone passing through, I recommend stopping by. We'll be back because we had a truly wonderful lunch.

07/12/2025: We had lunch at the Cozza d’Oro on our visit to Sicily. This is our second trip and again this seafood restaurant gem!! The location atmosphere and food was a 10!! Maurizio Bruno and chef and staple of the Cozza d’Oro Cettina were wonderful! We had a variety of fresh seafood also fried and some delicious pasta and seafood dishes ! Highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta Sicily .

21/03/2026: Sicily is famous not only for its stunning sea and dreamy landscapes, but also for its extraordinary cuisine. During summer vacations, it's almost natural to search for the best restaurants to sample typical local dishes. After trying several places in Noto, Ortigia, Marzamemi, and other towns, I never imagined that my absolute favorite would be La Capannina. It's a family-run trattoria, passed down from generation to generation, where passion and dedication are passed down with it. Every dish we tasted was simply exceptional: authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and a cuisine that truly captivates. Even the pizza is amazing, so much so that it can compete with those of the best Neapolitan pizza makers. And then the cannoli... without a doubt the best I've ever had in Sicily: light, delicate, delicious, or perhaps indescribable, you have to try it!! A place worth the trip. I would return to Sicily just to eat at this extraordinary trattoria again.

04/04/2026: I visited this place recently, and unfortunately, the experience was truly awful in almost every way. The setting is neglected, poorly maintained, and not at all welcoming: old furnishings, questionable cleanliness, and an overall atmosphere that almost makes you feel uncomfortable rather than inviting you to relax. The food was no exception: very low quality, poorly presented, and disappointing flavors. Considering the prices, it's definitely not worth it. The service was also particularly disappointing. One of the waiters, in particular, was extremely rude and unprofessional: curt responses, an annoyed attitude, and a complete lack of customer service. Such behavior completely ruins the experience, even if the rest of the experience were acceptable (which, unfortunately, it isn't). Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place and I'm unlikely to return.

04/04/2026: I go for coffee every morning and sometimes stop for a bite to eat. A historic establishment in Arzignano, reopened and beautifully renovated. Truly excellent service: all the girls at the counter are really kind and fast. The food is good. This place is definitely worth a visit.

11/01/2026: We were invited to a birthday party from Catania and found ourselves guests at this restaurant, and I must say it was truly well-maintained, with a beautifully landscaped garden at the entrance making a striking impression. We were there for dinner, so many details were hard to see, but from what I could see, the impact was positive. The staff was attentive to ensuring everything was provided, attentive, and helpful to the guests. We took part in a pizza round, and I must say the pizzas were truly well-made, well-cooked, full of toppings, and delicious. The bathrooms were well-maintained and clean despite the crowds.

14/05/2026: We had a great day in Siracusa and wanted to end it with a delicious seafood dinner. Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant ruined the whole day. The food itself was great - really very good - but the service was disappointing. The waitresses seemed judgmental and not super warm towards us, tourists. I understand cultural differences, especially when it comes to food. But everyone can make a small effort to adapt to today’s world. Despite that one waitress showed us and explained some seafood (which was nice gesture :) ) in shop next to restaurant; We felt kinda uncomfortable there.

13/05/2026: A place that deserves top marks. Extremely kind and professional staff. Idyllic atmosphere; definitely worth a visit. The fish is incredibly fresh, caught on the spot, and the lemon sorbet is delicious. I highly recommend it.
