28/10/2025: The place was recommended for good, local sea food! It worthy to eat there! Menu is simple and every dish worth to order!
17/09/2025: The menu was very limited, with few dishes to choose from; the marinara risotto also required advance reservations. The seafood spaghetti consisted only of mussels and clams. At 9:30 PM on a Saturday, when we asked for spaghetti with clams, we were told they only had a few and it was better to choose the marinara spaghetti I mentioned above. The mixed fried fish was all fish; they didn't have scampi, calamari, or even shrimp or prawns. The prices for the few dishes available were also quite high; spaghetti with (a few) clams was €22!! Maybe we were unlucky, but we're unlikely to return.

14/02/2026: I arrive at 8:55 PM, and they come to the table to order at 9:45 PM after I've called them repeatedly. I order a pizzolo with chicken at 9:45 PM, but they arrive while the pizzas are being served at 11 PM, saying the chicken is out of stock. I quickly choose another one, which still hasn't arrived after half an hour. Everyone's finished eating, and I'm not even hungry anymore. Shame on you. Don't go.

The food was damn bad
I could have done better
Lousy mussels, filled with stones and sand
Pasta not al dente, but rock hard
Beef steak was impossible to chew, impossible to swallow, really badly made
Service as if they were robots
No idea about waiters
The chef has no idea about cooking
Simply terrible, never again and I advise everyone not to go there. Find something on the main street instead. You won't be happy in this place.

27/09/2025: Poor food. The ingredients used were likely freshly defrosted and poorly cooked. The seafood spaghetti was actually spaghetti with mussels. The excessive price and numerous other service deficiencies contributed to this negative experience.

10/08/2025: cibo buono, peccato per il servizio, abbiamo dovuto chiedere le cose piu e piu volte e alcune volte sono arrivate anche cose sbagliate. mi sono dovuto mangiare il pesce con i bordi della pizza perche il pane lo hanno portato quando avevo finito 2/3 di grigliata
09/08/2025: Accoglienza calorosa e piatti che raccontano la vera cucina mediterranea 🌺. Porzioni generose, prezzi onesti e un ambiente raffinato rendono il tutto ancora più piacevole. Servizi puliti e in ordine, cucina tipica e sapori che restano impressi. Da provare assolutamente!

30/05/2025: In una tranquilla strada nel dedalo di Ortigia, una fantastica esperienza da Kamel. Ottimo pesce servito, dall’antipasto ai secondi piatti, in porzioni generosissime e qualità eccellente.
L’offerta dei vini è adeguata (spicca il vino prodotto dal calciatore Barzagli) e la simpatia impareggiabile della proprietaria completa la riuscita della serata dopo teatro.
Da non perdere se venite a Siracusa

12/03/2025: We chose this restaurant based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, I don't understand it at all.
The service was bored and disinterested; Sicilian specialties were basically out of stock. A wet plate with wet salt packets arrived at the table without comment, along with bread and half a bottle of oil. I would have liked to order olives and a piece of pecorino, as the bread was fresh and delicious. The waiter didn't even look at us, even though we were the only guests, along with two others. A simple insalata mista for €10 consisted of a shallow dessert plate, just as shallowly filled. On top, some iceberg lettuce and some radiccio. The main course, touristy calamari fritti, was OK, but overpriced for its quantity and simplicity.
It's a shame; with more interest in the customer, some of these mistakes could have been overlooked. And we would have gladly paid extra for the dolce vita, if we had had the money!
