15/10/2023: The food was so delicious. I’m not sure why this restaurant doesn’t have better reviews. As an Italian, I really appreciated all the flavours and well cooked dishes. Everything I’ve tried here has been so good. And the view is a huge bonus, not to mention the extra friendly staff.

27/09/2023: Für das Wasser, Radler oder andere Kaltgetränke gab es Plastikbecher!!! Absolutes No Go in der heutigen Zeit. Weiterhin gab es nicht mal eine englische Speisekarte, sondern nur eine italienische. Da es kein WLAN oder Netz im Restaurant gab, mussten wir dann auf gut Glück was bestellen. Jetzt zum Essen: total lecker, frisch und auch das Preis Leistungsverhältnis hat gepasst. Ich hatte die Pizza mit Garnelen und Pesto und mein Mann die mit Rucola und Schinken. Also die Köche sind top, dafür der restliche Service ausbaufähig.

05/01/2024: Nous sommes venus dîner dans ce restaurant en comparant avec les cartes de quelques autres restaurants de la rue Cavour. Bien nous en a pris, nous sommes ressortis enthousiasmés de ce restaurant, à l’accueil fort chaleureux et au service avec rien à redire (notre serveur s’est lancé dans quelques mots de français et nous a montré les signatures et messages de personnes connues venues manger dans le restaurant dont VGE). Le top évidemment la cuisine : Excellente pizza 4 fromages pour ce qui me concerne, pour mon épouse gnocchi à la sauce au pesto de pistache avec des crevettes sublissimes et mémorables ou encore tagliolini alla siciliana savoureux. Excellent rapport qualité / prix.

23/11/2023: Nu har vi provat pizza på olika orter och nu har turen kommit till Syrakusa! Vi hittade denna restaurang i en av de små sidogatorna. Ingen satt vid borden som befanns sig på rad längs husväggen i den trånga gränden. Vanligtvis så brukar varningsklockan ringa men eftersom det är lågsäsong så tog vi en chans! Mitt sällskap ville på en av pizzorna byta ut bacon mot skinka på sin pizza. Diskussion uppstod men det gick vägen. Pizzorna var okey men tomatsåsen smakade som tomatpuré på tub! En syrlig smak som trängde sig igenom ingredienserna. Mozzarellan på pizzan var av första klass! Långa fina trådar vid lyft. När notan kom in så såg vi att bytet till skinka kostade 3 euro extra!!😏Högt pris och inga kunder?

02/11/2023: Prezzi alla portata, personale cordiale e gentilissimo, pesce fresco visto la frittura mista presa ma i primi spaghetti alla marinara e soprattutto il risotto alla pescatora orribili senza gusto tipo cibo da mensa aziendale riso bianco evidente che cotto a parte e condimenti messi di sopra tanto per dire. Roba da non credere...mai mangiato un primo così...

18/02/2024: Bellissima location con tavolini all'aperto in un angolo suggestivo di Ortigia. Ottimo cibo e personale molto cordiale. Ottime le busiate con spada e melanzane, cosi come il cannolo scomposto. Prezzo giusto

07/02/2024: Passeggiando per le vie di Ortigia ci siamo trovati davanti una location stupenda e molto signorile, il personale di sala ci ha accolti nel migliore dei modi (comportamento che non hanno tutti). Cibo di ottima qualità , iniziando dall'antipasto e finendo dal dolce. Conto onesto per tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato... Che dire torneremo presto!! ☺️

05/02/2024: Sono stato in questa "osteria con prezzi da ristorante" dopo aver letto le innumerevoli recensioni che ne parlavano bene. Una volta arrivati ci fanno accomodare al piano superiore che ospita 4 tavoli. Un silenzio spettrale, dove non puoi fare a meno di ascoltare le conversazioni degli altri tavoli, e la cosa è alquanto imbarazzante. Al momento di ordinare il vino mi viene cambiata 4 volte la scelta perché quello che sceglievo non era disponibile. Alla fine devo scendere e scegliere io direttamente dal frigo. Ordino un antipasto di mare crudo e cotto chiedendo alla cameriera in cosa consistesse, ma la professionalità non è per tutti, nessuna spiegazione del piatto e infatti alla fine mi arriva un piatto con un po' di polpo cotto, salmone marinaro e tutte verdure, peperoni, patate, un pesto che non so capisce di cosa sia, arance e finocchi, cipolla..... Di pesce praticamente NULLA. Ho lasciato praticamente il piatto senza aver toccato nulla e nessuno si è preoccupato di chiedere cosa fosse successo, se magari ci fosse stato qualcosa che non andava..... Nulla di tutto ciò. Dopo quasi un ora di attesa, finalmente arrivano i primi, una pasta con le sarde "alla palermitana" e un risotto alla pescatora. Ahimè anche qui la delusione è enorme. La pasta sa solo di finocchietto selvatico mentre delle sarde nemmeno l'ombra. Il risotto....lasciamo stare, praticamente in brodo con 5 cozze, 6 vongole, qualche mini gambero surgelato e tanto sentore di limone che rende il piatto immangiabile. Ogni qual volta devo chiedere qualcosa alla cameriera, mi tocca scendere al pian terreno e la cosa non è per niente piacevole. Arrivati alla fine, al momento di pagare, chiedo spiegazioni in merito all'antipasto e del fatto che di pesce non c'era nulla. Chiedo di parlare con un responsabile, visto che alla cassa non sanno darmi risposta. Vengo mandato in cucina per parlare con lo Chef che alla fine consapevole dello sbaglio mi detrae dal conto l'antipasto. Unica nota positiva e giusta di un pranzo da dimenticare.... MAI PIÙ

08/10/2023: We chose the restaurant based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, I can't understand it at all. The service was bored and disinterested, Sizlian specialties were basically out. A wet plate with wet packets of salt came to the table without comment with bread and half a bottle of oil. I would have liked to have ordered olives and a piece of pecorino as the bread was fresh and delicious. The waiter didn't look at us, even though we and two others were the only guests. A simple insalata mista for €10 consisted of a flat plate, also flat filled, consisting of some iceberg lettuce and some radiccio. The main course calamari fritti was OK, but overpriced for the quantity and simplicity. It's a shame, with more interest in the guest we could have overlooked such mistakes. And we would have liked to leave money for dolce vita!!
