20/03/2025: Small fishmonger/restaurant on the Catania seafront. The frenzy of a place/shop that offers excellent products with an incredible selection of products is pleasant. Don't be scared if the place is full, the food is worth the wait (they are very fast anyway). Absolutely recommended.

20/03/2025: I also visited after watching the meat-eating man's YouTube. I rented a car on my way back from Mount Etna, and the location is a bit ambiguous for public transportation in Catania city. For two people, 4 pieces of Gambero Rosso, uni pasta, squid sundae(?), and a glass of water/white wine came to 49 euros. The interior is a bit chaotic and noisy, but it has a local atmosphere. Gambero Rosso is worth a try, and uni pasta is also above average. The squid sundae(?) is too much and the inside is melted, so it's edible, but a bit ambiguous. It seems that locals often order a raw fish platter and mix it with olive oil and lemon juice. If you have the chance, it seems like the best way to eat a raw fish plate + Gambero Rosso with a bottle of white wine is the best. The staff is friendly, and after you order, they call your name and give you your food.

01/03/2025: Trattoria that made us happy and we returned twice. Palermo and the people of Palermo are extraordinary and even more so with carpaccio. It's worth going, we ate very well and the owner and staff were very kind.

Everything is accompanied by the professionalism of the staff as well as the courtesy and kindness of the managers (Massimo as far as I'm concerned 😉). 17/03/2025: Consigliatoci da un amico abbiamo raggiunto questo ristorante quasi ai piedi del Castello di Erice . Location accogliente, molto calda . Servizio ottimo, e Francesco /Ciccio ci ha deliziato con interessanti e generose spiegazioni di tecniche culinarie e tradizioni Ericine . Ottima la carne, Busiate con broccoli "arriminati" abbondanti e gustose! selezione di antipastini della casa non ci ha deluso ! Prezzo buono! ringraziamo il nostro amico che ci ha ben consigliato. alla prossima!

30/10/2024: abbiamo cenato in questo locale, distante solo poche decine di metri dalla centralissima Via Roma, apprezzando la curatissima gestione del cliente: traspare in modo evidente la competenza e la cortesia del servizio, sin nei dettagli. Menù curato, piatti molto interessanti, la presentazione dei quali regala subito una piacevole sensazione di qualità. I sapori sono genuini e gustosi: abbiamo apprezzato, tra le varie portate, un profumatissimo e gentile "tonno tonnato", l'ottima parmigiana e una caponata deliziosa sin dalla padellina in cui viene servito. Assolutamente da consigliare. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

18/02/2025: I ordered calamari from a place that looked like takeout. Freshly fried food from the store inside! It's heaven when you eat it with a sprinkle of lemon juice. It's only 10 euros! Buy and eat this with a Caseificio Borderi sandwich next to the Koreans💜And if you take turns buying gelato from Levante Gelato Artigianale, the course is perfect👍

22/02/2025: We had a great evening with good food, service and wine. We were welcomed with open arms. The food was carefully explained and so was the wine. The food was excellent including the bread and the desserts. This was the best food we had so far during our trip. You pay a bit more however not only the food but also the service is fantastic. I asked for an expresso martini and they just made it. Nothing was too much for them.

15/02/2025: Excellent cuisine and very warm and friendly atmosphere. All dishes are prepared with the freshest local ingredients. We have lived here for 3 years and have been to all the restaurants in the area, including the Michelin guide. Noka is truly one of the best experiences. My personal recommendation is gyoza, truffle pork, a delicious dessert made with baked ricotta and strawberries.

28/02/2025: From Palermo: A real emotion to eat here. In the photo you will see a plate of sea urchins and prawn tartare in abundance that leaves you speechless. It seems like a lot of pasta, but only by eating it will you understand what it means to eat everything for the good taste of food. Favorite place now for DOPPI RICCI pasta and DOUBLE PRAWN TARTARE!! 22/03/2025: Ottima cena, infatti ci siamo tornati anche la sera successiva! La prima sera abbiamo mangiato la zuppa di pesce e il pesce spada: entrambi ottimi e con solo il pesce fresco a disposizione. La seconda sera abbiamo scelto invece pesto alla trapanese e couscous di pesce in zuppa. Personale molto gentile e ambiente molto piacevole. Super consigliato!

07/03/2025: Disastrous experience, i had the Paccheri con tonno there a few days ago, and the pasta were totally hard = completely undercooked (not 'al dente', but undercooked). I asked the waiter to take back the dish and recook it, which he finally did after trying to convince me they were just 'al dente'. When he brought back the plate, he admitted the pasta were too hard indeed, but the 'new' ones were not much better. Instead of apologizing and making a commercial gesture for their missed dish, they counted 1 liter of water, although i asked for a small bottle, and additionally for the 'coperto'. Please go somewhere else, they are far better and cheaper restaurants around!

25/02/2025: Fantastic service, food, atmosphere- a wonderful team who not only shared their knowledge and experience of the cuisine but also went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. The cheese selection with honey and marmalade was sublime, the homemade agnolotti with shellfish sauce was unbelievably good and the steak excellent. It was my husband’s birthday and the staff brought out a slice of candle-topped chocolate cake, really a memorable evening- thanks - check out the offer on The Fork if you would like to experience this with other budget-friendly options - definitely worth it ☘️
