28/03/2025: We came for dinner a few weeks ago and were very satisfied. It was our first time and we were not disappointed. The sandwich we ordered was really delicious, although too big to finish. The service was excellent, a very kind and helpful boy served us, always ready to satisfy our every request. He also described the wines to us with great expertise. I highly recommend this place, both to enjoy an excellent meal and to feel welcomed at home, even if you aren't actually there.

10/04/2025: Ho mangiato al Ragno d'Oro sia a pranzo che a cena ed è una garanzia! Lo staff è meraviglioso, i proprietari sono disponibilissimi e molto attenti ad ogni dettaglio, i ragazzi di sala attenti ad ogni richiesta e super gentili. Abbiamo mangiato in gruppo: zuppa di cozze, spaghetto con le sarde, frittura mista e insalata di seppie all'arancia con crostini al curry, tutto spettacolare. A cena la pizza era buonissima: cotta in forno a legna, con ingredienti freschi e soprattutto impasto digeribilissimo. Consiglio assolutamente. Cenare con vista tramonto sul lungomare di Cefalù è incredibile e il Ragno d'Oro offre una vista pazzesca😍😍

27/10/2024: Este restaurante es uno de los muchos a lo largo de la bahía en Cefalu y tuvimos un almuerzo muy agradable aquí. Elegimos una variedad de 'contorni' y realmente disfrutamos de todos. A pesar de que tradicionalmente se trata de guarniciones, tener 4 o 5 para compartir hace una muy buena comida para dos. El servicio estaba bien y el ambiente animado y bueno.

26/10/2024: In a low season period (October 25th) we decide to sit in the renowned venue. The fact of finding another couple in the restaurant makes us console ourselves that perhaps given the very low turnout we would have enjoyed excellent service. Waiters quite helpful. While sitting at the table, the foot of the table was a bit wobbly but the problem was immediately remedied with a napkin to support it. Having ordered two pizzas, a 66 beer and a water at the end of dinner we head towards the cash register. Receipt? 3.50 per person cover charge (questionable in low season but still reported on the menu) we find ourselves asking for explanations for some additional items reported on the receipt. Then even reading carefully the water (750 bottle) which was marked at €3.50 we find it double spread on the receipt. Pointing out the fact to the cashier after some small squabbles where she almost claimed that if there were two bottles of water marked, we had certainly drank two bottles and despite the invitation to go and check on the table that we had actually only consumed one, she threw the 3.50 on the counter almost as if to say "let's be smart, here's the 3.50". The other couple also had some arguments with the staff during dinner and I can't imagine the moment they would arrive at the cash register. Sin. The place is worth it, but the staff and management are not.

13/10/2024: Beach front restaurant with prices closer to those of Milan than Sicily. Food was very good (seafood pasta dish). Service was correct but lacked emotion and a smile 😃

17/03/2025: Cibo veramente di bassa bassa qualità e prezzi ingiustificatamente alti, in tutto ciò nonostante l’orario non di punta, abbiamo aspettato 1 ora d’orologio per due semplici portate e l’acqua e una birra sono state portate dopo 15 minuti sotto sollecito. Servizio scadente è dir poco. Sconsigliato.

14/01/2025: Localino nel centro storico molto carino, ben tenuto e dal gusto personale, che propone piatti sia della tradizione, sia rivisitati; tempi di attesa contenuti, porzioni abbondanti. Conto finale, per esser a Ortigia, più che onesto! Unico neo: non fanno il caffè. Lo consigliamo

09/01/2025: Vine a este establecimiento con la mejor de las tensiones. La familia tuvo un gran día, experimentando vistas increíbles. Esperaba tener una gran comida y desterrar a los rincones oscuros de mi mente las noches anteriores experiencia de la cena en Acca Punto Bistro. El saludo fue amable y acogedor, la decoración estaba en su punto con la tradición de la comida. Nuestros aperitivos eran bastante agradables, nada excepcional. La mía era ensalada fría de pulpo con zanahoria picada y apio. Una obviedad, imposible de cagar, abrir un frasco de pulpo encurtido, picarlo, servirlo. Mi esposa pidió brócoli, vino como papilla, mal cocida pero estaba tan harta de pan, pan, pan que cualquier verdura verde era una vista bienvenida. Luego vino el siguiente plato. Pedí una pasta de gambas, mi esposa pasta de albóndigas de ternera. ¿Por dónde empiezo? El tagliatelle de mi esposa era pegamento, las albóndigas reensamblaban el núcleo interno de una pelota de golf y todo lo que podía saborear era langostino. Luego vino mi desastre. En toda mi etapa adulta de mi vida ( 62 ) siempre he conseguido limpiar mi paladar. ¡Esta noche no! Cabezas de gamba y gusanos de pasta (no sé cómo se llaman pero ya sabéis de lo que hablo). Dos bocados, fue todo lo que pude manejar. El rango es la única manera de describirlo. Cabe destacar que estaba claro que las mismas sartenes se usaron para el plato de mi esposa, lo que explica su regusto a langostino. El propietario debe haberse ido por la noche, ya que solo la camarera de habla italiana estaba de servicio. Su respuesta a mi comida virgen, ”non bueno”. Se llevó los platos y los oí rasparse en la basura. Sin hablar inglés para argumentar mi caso caminé hasta la registradora y pagué la cuenta, luego salí completamente decepcionado de la comida y de mí mismo por pagar. Aquí termina mi historia de aflicción.

08/09/2024: Location carina sul mare come da aspettativa. Servizio pessimo , la cameriera con aria stufa e di sufficienza ci chiede cosa vogliamo ordinare senza proporci i piatti del Giorno o il pesce della giornata che invece vengono proposti agli altri due tavoli che dopo scopriamo essere dei clienti abituali . Ordiniamo le sardine in agrodolce, molte buone e insalata verde . Quella Ci viene servito dell’olio della “casa” in un’oliera a differenza degli altri tavoli a cui viene portato l’olio “buono “ in bottiglietta. Che caduta di stile e maleducazione fare distinzioni tra i clienti !! Credo sia una delle prime regole della ristorazione ed educazione . Mi spiace per la proprietaria molto gentile che però sfortunatamente non ci ha servito !

08/09/2024: Nice location on the sea as expected. Terrible service, the waitress looking fed up and condescending asks us what we want to order without offering us the dishes Giorno or the fish of the day which are instead offered to the other two tables who we later discover are regular customers. We order the sweet and sour sardines, many of which are good, and a green salad. That We are served "house" oil in a cruet unlike the other tables where "good" oil is brought in a bottle. What a lack of style and rudeness to make distinctions between customers!! I believe it is one of the first rules of catering and education. I'm sorry for the very kind owner who unfortunately didn't serve us!

31/03/2025: Don't be fooled by the exterior appearance and the decoration...but rather by its simple, refined and exceptional cuisine...and the locals are not mistaken... The octopus is excellent.... and the spaghetti with sea urchins unforgettable

11/03/2025: This is an amazing place on Syracusa! Loved the atmosphere, great seafood, and the only place I have ever seen that you can by a whole octopus! Amazing!

06/02/2025: Locale in pieno centro città. Locale caldo ed accogliente, atmosfera familiare. Il proprietario simpatico e la moglie in cucina molto brava nella preparazione dei piatti. Cena d'affari con antipasto, primo, secondo frutta e dolce. Livello buono con portate abbondanti tutto a basa di pesce di ottima qualità. La busiata con crema di zucca pesce sanpietro e scampo da replicare. Carta dei vini limitata ma soddisfacente. Il personale di sala pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Veramente una bella serata.

16/03/2025: Absolutely disastrous experience! We arrive at the place, packed as expected on a Saturday evening, but the worst thing is that we ordered drinks and chips... There were 3 of us, and it took A LOT OF 50 MINUTES to get the second glass! Furthermore, there were few staff and the chips they brought us were practically fried for an hour, all cold and hard. They took them away and, incredibly, returned with a mix of some fresh and some still cold! Unacceptable! The pizzas arrived, and they were okay enough not to be bad, but after such service I really don't think I'll ever go back. Really a bad experience.

26/02/2025: Locale carino, pulito e accogliente; il personale è alla mano e fa sentire a proprio agio. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo? Ni! Da rivedere, io ritoccherei i prezzi; Considerato il costo, porzioni piccole e care, seppur la materia prima era di buona qualità. Non so se magari possa ritornare, opterei per visitare qualche altro locale.

15/04/2025: The pizzas are quite good on the other hand, if you want to have a pleasant time go your way, the servers are just friendly really. The bill is brought to you by what I assume is the boss? When she arrives you clearly put yourself in a mouse hole because she is so unpleasant… really a shame! We have visited other restaurants with a much warmer welcome right next door!!! see right across the street! We are only at the beginning of the season, I can’t imagine it’s peak season 😳
