07/10/2025: Well...my friends reading this, my expectations were high, in the sense that when they tell you about a gourmet restaurant, you don't just expect a beautiful plating but something more. Punta Lena is a charming restaurant, nothing extraordinary, right on the sea. Perhaps the downside was that when we went for dinner, it was already dark, and we couldn't tell we were right next to the sea. In any case, the dishes were well-cooked, but like pretty much everywhere else in Stromboli. It didn't stand out compared to the rest in terms of food quality. One flaw I absolutely didn't expect was the peppered mussels, which were so salty it tasted like seawater. And we Sicilians know how to cook mussels...when we pointed this out, we were simply told: oh...strange... Anyway, my calamari was good, but it was frozen. Maybe it's because I'm used to eating fresh fish; I can tell right away. The flavor was very good, anyway. That said, I can't give more stars because, guys, it's truly impossible to mess up a Pepata... The prices are truly outrageous for the type of food.

11/03/2026: Last night we celebrated my daughter's graduation. I can't thank you enough. You fulfilled my every wish and everything was impeccable. The food was plentiful and of unquestionable quality. Your courtesy is priceless and can never be taken for granted. Thank you, thank you, thank you. My guests have inundated me with phone calls to compliment the good food. We are a large family and luckily there is always something to celebrate. See you very soon and I swear it's not a threat. 😂😂😂

20/02/2026: Three of us had dinner, and we had some good hamburgers. It fell a bit short of my expectations; I expected a bit more quality. For example, the bacon was cold, and the hamburger wasn't hot enough, not even cooked thoroughly. The service was impeccable. I was a bit disappointed by the price of a glass of wine; €7 for an Etna red seems a bit excessive.

28/10/2025: The place was recommended for good, local sea food! It worthy to eat there! Menu is simple and every dish worth to order!

17/09/2025: The menu was very limited, with few dishes to choose from; the marinara risotto also required advance reservations. The seafood spaghetti consisted only of mussels and clams. At 9:30 PM on a Saturday, when we asked for spaghetti with clams, we were told they only had a few and it was better to choose the marinara spaghetti I mentioned above. The mixed fried fish was all fish; they didn't have scampi, calamari, or even shrimp or prawns. The prices for the few dishes available were also quite high; spaghetti with (a few) clams was €22!! Maybe we were unlucky, but we're unlikely to return.

07/03/2026: I used to go to Cantastorie often, but lately it's not the same. The price/quality ratio no longer meets our standards and palates. It's probably under new management, or a different chef, but the lobster fettuccine is very different from usual, as is the spaghetti with sea urchins. If you go there often, you'll notice the difference. The appetizer portions have also decreased. We asked for octopus salad, and it was served julienned. It was just enough for the number of people, but we didn't like the taste either. The mussels were served on a small platter for three people, and as for the rest, we were disappointed.

05/03/2026: A short stopover; the food was fresh and good. The staff took some getting used to.

21/12/2025: The waitress sat me down and stared at me while we read the menu. I ordered a peppered mussel dish and a quarter of red wine. The mussels (15 count, two of which were inedible and one closed) arrived after 15 minutes, and the wine was too cold and sour. I paid €17, including a €2 blanket (€2 to wash a plate and a fork?). I WON'T RETURN!!! Not even worth a star. Only the bread was delicious.

24/02/2026: JOAN'S FOOD REVIEW A group of friends from Torelló went. A very charming restaurant; we ate on the terrace, facing the sea. The €25 set menu included coffee, drinks were extra, and bread was also extra. First course: spaghetti with seafood, delicious, but a touch of pepper was a bit too much for me. Second course: mixed fried fish, very tasty.

La atención impecable, dedicada de todo el personal y los dueños acercándose a ver si todo estaba perfecto. Gracias!!!!!!
