27/06/2025: Trattoria of the past, now unobtainable nowadays. Quality, simplicity and modest prices that seem almost fictitious compared to what you find around. Family-run, with a kindness and a unique humility even with the many foreigners who are lucky enough to end up in this place. Go there if you want to eat in a gem of times gone by that I hope will resist the dynamics of the modern market. Congratulations!

06/12/2025: Even at night the location was beautiful as the windmills were lit up. The restaurant had lovely Christmas decorations, lit up outside. Staff were outside, we asked if they were open for food as it was advertised online. They said OK but I did feel as though it wasn't. Inside service was good. The food was delicious, I had the mushroom risotto which had lovely flavours. My partner had the white rabbit pasta and he said it was delicious. We both had a cocktail which were good. We were the only diners at 7.30pm until as we were leaving another family came in to eat. Overall delicious food.

30/11/2025: Beautiful view in a unique location... but the staff was unfriendly and the prices were well above average. We stopped for a snack on the way back from the island of Mozia with the kids. We asked for a scoop of ice cream for the kids, which arrived in a glass for the modest sum of €7 per portion. They also snorted when we asked for an extra glass to split the portions. Coffee served at the table was €2.50...

14/09/2025: A disappointment that hurts, especially when it comes to an institution like La Trizzera. The new management is slowly destroying a historic landmark for Agrigento. A real shame! Sincere praise goes to Mr. Diego and the wait staff, who with professionalism and courtesy tried in every way to apologize for the enormous delay. It's worth noting that many of those present were longtime customers who continue to frequent the restaurant only thanks to the trust placed in Mr. Diego, whom they knew and respected from the "old" and true Trizzera. But unfortunately, there are limits that not even good will can overcome. After waiting two hours without being served, we left without eating anything. The pizzeria is clearly not capable of handling over 400 covers in an acceptable time frame. In these cases, it would be more appropriate to limit entry rather than ruin the experience for everyone. Better to have fewer customers, but well served, than many and disappointed. The staff was visibly mortified. The management? Absent. In certain situations, we need to have the courage to stand up for ourselves, not pass the buck to those on the front lines. In time, I will give the new Trizzera a new chance, hoping that these suggestions will be heeded. Otherwise (unfortunately) I will have lost a point of reference.

09/09/2025: Overall, a terrible experience. The first courses were overcooked, flavorless, and late; the only good thing was the mussel soup. On a positive note, the waiters were there, especially Giulia, who was very kind and assisted us throughout the dinner. They pointed out several things we hadn't ordered without even apologizing for the incident. The owner (who was at the cash register) and (I presume) his wife immediately became annoyed with us because we wanted to split the bill Roman style. Not recommended.

15/09/2025: I paid 80 euros for 6 soles. An exorbitant price, to say the least, which made the experience completely negative. For me, it's not worth the expense, and I definitely won't be returning.

18/09/2025: Starting with the positives: fair price, perfect location with special mention for the partner beaches, impeccable cleanliness. The property is dated but well-maintained. The bikes available with child seats for children and infants are very useful. Breakfast is acceptable, but unfortunately very repetitive. Paid parking is available, although not mentioned when booking. Air conditioning is turned off from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm; information about this should have been provided in advance. A major downside is the food. Basic dishes, poorly cooked, and in limited quantities. The service could definitely be improved, with little attention paid to children, especially due to the timetable. One positive was our waiter, Pietro, who improved the service while being considerate of our son. The buffet consisted of only repetitive side dishes, including vegetables and fruit. The owners' communication style could be improved; they weren't always friendly. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel, except for its price and location.

12/11/2025: Last night we celebrated my nephew's 18th birthday. Saro outdid himself. Extraordinary menu. High-quality food, excellently cooked. Impeccable service. We were very, very happy. Congratulations to Saro and all the staff.

18/10/2025: Be careful of the old lady at the cash register (the others are honest) if she sees that you are tourists she will make up the price on the spot and make you pay more, shameful

16/10/2025: Went there with nine people Paid €181 bill The food was damn bad I could have done better Lousy mussels, filled with stones and sand Pasta not al dente, but rock hard Beef steak was impossible to chew, impossible to swallow, really badly made Service as if they were robots No idea about waiters The chef has no idea about cooking Simply terrible, never again and I advise everyone not to go there. Find something on the main street instead. You won't be happy in this place.

30/09/2025: A lovely, charming restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. Delicious pizza, just as it should be, well-leavened, and with delicious combinations, especially the gourmet ones. Try them all.

02/12/2025: We politely ordered our humble pizza, and it was 9:00 PM when we kindly received ours. I can wait an hour, and I understand, but goodness me, I've been waiting almost a day. Then there were five guys who broke the toilet.

01/12/2025: Quality fish. Reasonable prices and impeccable service. Definitely worth a try. I went out of season and it was crowded, so I recommend booking.

04/11/2025: A beautiful Sicilian trattoria with insanely delicious seafood and a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The owner is very helpful, serving, greeting, and bidding farewell to guests himself.

04/11/2025: Absolutely avoid this place, it's a tourist trap!!! What a rip-off at the end of our trip to Sicily! We were with friends and ordered four Spritz cocktails with a large plate of grilled fish as an appetizer! We had this dish several times during our week in Sicily (we usually budgeted 15 to 20 Euros each time). What a nasty surprise to find that this dish for four cost 80 Euros!! What a disgrace!! After this bad experience, we checked the reviews, which are all too common.
