Spaghetti with clams and bottarga became spaghetti with lupini beans and no bottarga! The rest was of poor quality. Reported it to the girl serving, who would then report it to the owner... no mention, no response! Never again!

12/03/2026: I have to be honest. I'll tell you... every time I decide to eat at the pool, I always order the same things... a selection of appetizers, excellent, and a couple of first courses to finish off with a flourish... tagliolini with lobster and paccheri with grouper ragù. Everything was well-served, but above all, excellent. Thanks to all the staff. Highly recommended!

22/09/2025: I returned after seven years and can only confirm the positive experience. Beautiful atmosphere, quiet location just outside the center of San Vito lo Capo. Excellent and beautifully presented dishes. Good service and friendly staff. Average prices. Recommended!

16/09/2025: Bad experience; the pasta dish was full of cream and not worth the asking price. Little attention to the non-smoking customer who prefers to be outside.

13/03/2026: An excellent seafood dining experience. This recently renovated trattoria, founded in the 1960s, offers hearty seafood dishes. The raw fish and grilled fish (now white sea bream and red mullet) are excellent. Fair prices.

03/02/2026: Good, but more could be done. I believe customers should always be treated the same, regardless of whether they park a Maserati or an Ape! Courtesy and respect are the foundation of a restaurant! Restaurateurs, be careful who you put at the counter! They reflect the restaurant... BE CAREFUL. The breakfast is good, a bit limited... but if it's true that the wine is good... It's fine!

01/11/2025: I just had a coffee and a coffee creamer... both were good except for the girl at the counter who, as soon as she served us, stood in front of us staring at us until she finished our drinks... is this normal? What manners she received!! Watching people while they eat... this is very serious!!!

05/05/2026: We stayed 1 night while visiting Erice. The hotel is in an excellent, very central location. We were welcomed by the very friendly staff. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. We will definitely be back.

02/05/2026: We had lunch with four adults and three children. Both the first and second courses were excellent. The staff was attentive and very kind. Recommended.

01/06/2026: Yesterday, May 31, 2026, we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at lunch. We had fun with Gabry and Frankie, we ate well and above all there was a girl who served our table, very sweet, nice and very kind, her name is Monica, always available, she did her job with love.

05/01/2026: First time at this place and also the last... The fixed menu was awful, to say the least. A relative of mine didn't eat dairy because he was intolerant. The sfincione had cheese on it, and the waiter assured me it wasn't there when you could clearly see it on top and the smell also said otherwise. The food was poor: the meat was full of fat, the potatoes were dry and not fresh, and the portions were small. I don't want to mention the hygiene in the bathrooms, which in a place must always be impeccable. Dirty bathrooms, dirty tiles, unqualified staff, and, most seriously, I don't know if it was the owner... he smoked inside even though there were small children. The only exceptional thing, but not thanks to them, is the spectacular view, which a place worthy of its view deserves.

05/10/2025: Total disgrace for home delivery. Poor service in every way. Ordered 2 pizzas and a hot mixed pizza. - The Diavola Pizza, which was supposed to contain (spicy salami, mozzarella, mushrooms, and black olives), arrived as a Margherita. - The Parma Pizza only came with arugula and mushrooms on top, which the menu supposedly contained (mozzarella, prosciutto, and parmesan). - The hot mixed pizza on the menu was a 1-portion pizza with: chips, panelle, croquettes, battered vegetables, Ascoli olives, and mozzarella balls. ** A small tray of chips arrived with exactly 2 potato croquettes and that was it. Ordered at 8:08 PM - the app gave me a preparation and delivery time of around 24-28 minutes, but obviously the time extended to 9:25 PM. Once it arrived...surprise! I found what I found. I called the restaurant, and the gentleman, very upset about the call, told me he'd come pick up everything within 10 minutes and refund me. It's been over an hour since I'm writing this review. Not so much about the money, but rather about the complete rip-off.

08/09/2025: The bill was overcharged, not in line with the menu prices! I paid without any fuss, and thank you, never again! My compliments! The only customer of the evening, perhaps he wanted to get even with me!

05/04/2026: IL Tamburino. THE pizzeria! The last remaining of its kind for quality and tradition. For over 30 years, it has impeccably welcomed generations of Messina residents and tourists. Edit 18-7-2023 Being the only remaining VALUE pizzeria near my house, I return occasionally with family or friends. My last visit was on July 18th with family and relatives. Leaving aside the slightly inflated prices, I was disappointed to find the service significantly worse. The courtesy is still the same as it once was, and the precision and speed of table service, even when there were fewer people, have deteriorated significantly. There must have been a change in the wait staff... Edit 5/4/2026. I returned with my family, my parents, and my brother's family. We sat down at 1:15 PM and ordered at 2:40 PM. The first courses arrived at 4 PM. The dining room seats less than 60 people. And we were practically the first to sit down. My brother was pissed off. My dad wanted to leave at 3:30. We didn't even have a drink.
