09/07/2026: Spectacular service, superb food. Aly, the manager, treated us wonderfully, and the waiters were polite and very professional. The food is exquisite and traditional. I've been on holiday in Sardinia for six days, and this is the best food I've had. Thank you so much!

04/07/2026: Nice place and good food, but be careful with the bill. Both we and the table next to us were charged extra for things we hadn't eaten! Coincidence? Who knows! If in doubt, check.

We wish we could find establishments like this more often. It's regrettable to have people at the next table who leave such a terrible review. It would be wise to sometimes rate customers!

17/07/2026: I've been there twice already, and I can definitely say I'll be back! The staff is fantastic: kind, helpful, and always smiling. The food? Simply delicious! Today, however, my stomach decided to play food critic for me. 😅 I was feeling a bit unwell, and the waiter, along with the kitchen staff, was kind enough to stop the preparation of my next course. A truly thoughtful and much appreciated gesture. My boyfriend, on the other hand, enjoyed every last bite! I can't wait for my day off so I can go back and finally eat that dish I chose... this time, I hope without any protests from my stomach! 😂 Thank you again for your kindness, and see you soon!

14/07/2026: We had some awesome little sweets here. Especially the dried candied orange and nut thingies won me over! Not much else to do in this small village, but this is worth stopping for.

12/07/2026: Fantastic concept, local, simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious products: in short, I highly recommend it! Note that some dishes require advance reservations, and I advise calling ahead to reserve a table as it was packed the evening we were there.

10/06/2026: Wow, super duper good local food with perfect service ✨

06/06/2026: We arrived relatively early, shortly before 7:30 pm, so we still had a good selection of tables for two. The service was quite quick; we received two business cards with QR codes, as well as a physical food and drink menu. Unfortunately, it was only in English and Italian. Since I speak Italian, it wasn't a problem for me to understand the menu. Unfortunately, only large bottles of water were served. The beer was served in an iced glass – a nice touch. The starter, a mixed salad for us, was prepared for two people upon request, meaning each of us received a separate plate with the salad. The main course, spaghettone con frutti di mare, was excellent, served with a small plate and a refreshing towel. Kudos! My partner's calzone was also excellent. The wines (Cannonau di Sardegna / Vermentino di Gallura) were served beautifully by the glass. The crema catalana pâté e riduzione al mirto was simply divine. I can personally highly recommend Ristorante La Sciumara. The service staff are attentive, courteous, polite, and very competent.

17/07/2026: Disappointed even though the location is fantastic, with a one-of-a-kind view. We booked for an aperitif, but at 7:30 pm only the restaurant service is available. When the dishes we ordered arrived (arrived in no particular order), we were attacked by 🐝 wasps, as happened at every table. So our aperitif turned into a dinner for around 40 euros (unfortunately they play on these misunderstandings) per person for a dish each, beers, and a glass of wine (9.50). Lastly, when we were at the café, they asked us to move so they could set the table for a table for 9 that they had booked (us too😜). Let's say an experience to be had by 7 pm with a simple aperitif and then leave after taking some fantastic photos.

27/07/2026: In fact, apart from the magnificent setting, this place is a money grab. No matter what cocktail you order, it will cost you €25 and a glass of water €10??? Really? Given the entrance fee, you can't even sit down. Keep walking, there are better things to see in Sardinia.

07/08/2026: The picture speaks for itself. The pizza was tasteless, drowning in cheese despite impeccable service. The price was reasonable.

09/08/2026: Tourist trap Based on the reviews, we expected better... First, the welcome: we were waiting for a table on the terrace, but a couple arrived after us and got the last available table. (If we had been Italian, perhaps we would have gotten that table.) Then, the food... €20 for a plate of fried calamari. With no sides whatsoever. Same for the swordfish. Not a single side dish except for two wilted lettuce leaves (what for?). The best part was the €6 plate of fries, which were frozen. At that price, I think making homemade fries wouldn't be that complicated! I'm giving it two stars because it wasn't that bad, but next time we'll go somewhere else.

07/08/2026: We returned to this restaurant after a few years, remembering it as a place where we'd eaten well and had a great time. Unfortunately, this time, the experience was completely different. The wait was truly excessive: for a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses, which was also very cheap for the asking price, and for two plates of grilled sausages, we waited way too long. We also had a two-year-old child, and despite having informed us of this when booking, we were assigned a table down the hill, decidedly uncomfortable and unsuitable for a small child, while there were other tables available. A little more attention would have been enough. The service also left much to be desired: after we collected the first cutlery, no one brought us clean ones, so much so that we had to ask for them ourselves. The same happened with the bread, which never arrived until we asked for it. Finally, the presentation of the dishes was truly disappointing: the meat was simply placed on two old lettuce leaves, giving the impression of lack of attention. On a positive note, we ordered pasta for our child: the portion was truly generous, which we appreciated. It's a real shame, because we had fond memories of this restaurant. Unfortunately, we felt that, over the years, the quality had significantly declined. We hope this review can inspire us to rediscover the standards that once distinguished it.

10/06/2026: On the way to San Teodoro, we stopped here based on the reviews. You choose the type and quantity of fish, and it's fried to order. Once it's ready, you pick it up and eat at one of the many outdoor tables. Excellent value! Ample free parking is available nearby.

08/06/2026: Quality, courtesy, and cleanliness! Truly superb. A place I recommend to all San Teodoro vacationers; it's definitely worth leaving town to enjoy a fried fish dish in a spotlessly clean and friendly atmosphere.
