On the way to San Teodoro, we stopped here based on the reviews. You choose the type and quantity of fish, and it's fried to order. Once it's ready, you pick it up and eat at one of the many outdoor tables. Excellent value! Ample free parking is available nearby.

Quality, courtesy, and cleanliness! Truly superb. A place I recommend to all San Teodoro vacationers; it's definitely worth leaving town to enjoy a fried fish dish in a spotlessly clean and friendly atmosphere.

It's truly the best fish fry for miles around!!! We're addicted to this fresh fish, and you can taste the sea. That's what makes it so different from the fish fry in town. The squid is always incredibly tender, and everything, absolutely everything, is fresh—pure vacation bliss. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality; we'll definitely be back.

Not worth the expensive price tag for some regular nothing special fried seafood. I would not recommend. For a small basket of mixed seafood we paid 30 euros. The staff were nice.

06/06/2026: We arrived relatively early, shortly before 7:30 pm, so we still had a good selection of tables for two. The service was quite quick; we received two business cards with QR codes, as well as a physical food and drink menu. Unfortunately, it was only in English and Italian. Since I speak Italian, it wasn't a problem for me to understand the menu. Unfortunately, only large bottles of water were served. The beer was served in an iced glass – a nice touch. The starter, a mixed salad for us, was prepared for two people upon request, meaning each of us received a separate plate with the salad. The main course, spaghettone con frutti di mare, was excellent, served with a small plate and a refreshing towel. Kudos! My partner's calzone was also excellent. The wines (Cannonau di Sardegna / Vermentino di Gallura) were served beautifully by the glass. The crema catalana pâté e riduzione al mirto was simply divine. I can personally highly recommend Ristorante La Sciumara. The service staff are attentive, courteous, polite, and very competent.
