02/11/2025: Beautiful location, excellent food, wonderful welcome.

08/10/2025: There were 9 of us: 4 adults, 5 teenagers/children. The food was okay (depending on what you ordered, it was also good), and the atmosphere in the restaurant was okay. The service - well... One child only wanted to order a side salad or a portion of fries (which is available on the menu). The staff then got rude and demanded that we order a set menu. This was despite the fact that we hadn't "just" ordered pizza, but entire menus with appetizers and expensive wine. The restaurant should be more accommodating... With a "Servizio & Coperto" charge of €2.50 per cover, you're already paying for the service.

01/02/2026: As was the case last year, the restaurant was rather quiet on this Sunday. At first, the staff seemed quite preoccupied with the "family table" (apparently the owners), which made us feel a bit neglected. However, the pizzas are quite good—the Buffalo, in particular, was delicious—and are baked in a wood-fired oven. It's precisely because of the good pizza that the restaurant earns just under 4 points from us. Less pleasant was the wait for dessert: we waited longer for the apple pie and cheesecake than for the main course. This reminded us that we had a similar problem last year—we even had to pay for dessert but couldn't eat it because it wasn't served on time due to an appointment. This time, the apple pie also seemed to have been served very cold, which detracted from the enjoyment. Overall, we've had significantly better desserts in Alghero. Conclusion: It's certainly worth going here for good wood-fired pizza—but there's definitely room for improvement in the service and desserts. ' ... Come this year, this year the local area was very popular in Dominica. All'initio il personale sembrava però molto occupato con il “tavolo di family” (probabilmente dei proprietari), per cui ci siamo sentiti un po’ trascurati. The pizza is so good: in the Buffalo part, it has convinto per il gusto, e il fatto che vengano cotte nel forno a legna è secured a punto a favore. Proprio grazie alla pizza il locale raggiunge per noi quasi 4 punti. Meno positiva è state l'attesa per i dolci: abbiamo aspettato più a lungo per la torta di mele e la cheesecake che per il piatto principale. This tornado in mente che another scorso avevamo avuto lo stesso problema — allora avevamo persino pagato il dolce senza poterlo mangiare perché non era arrivato tempo e avevamo un impegno. Questa volta la torta di mele sembrava inoltre essere stateta raffreddata eccessivamente in anticipo, il che ha un po’ rovinato il piacere. In Generale ad Alghero abbiamo già mangiato dessert decisamente migliori. Conclusion: for a good pizza cotta nel forno a legna si può tranquillamente venire qui — ma su servizio e dolci c’è ancora margine di miglioramento.

06/11/2025: We stayed for almost two weeks, and the service was very friendly and helpful. Parking is available on the premises, with a few additional spaces just outside. The grounds were well-maintained, but it was a shame there wasn't a circular path. The location right on a large lake sounds beautiful, but when full, it dries up and has a large rim lined with withered trees. Previously, you could drive around the lake, but now the road to the hotel is a dead end. Breakfast was really not good. Every day, the same two types of sausage and one type of sliced ​​cheese. The jams, as is so often the case in Italy, were simply sweet and tasteless. The boiled eggs were ice-cold, and the scrambled eggs were too runny. The "workout room" is a pavilion with two treadmills. Our room was at the lowest part of the complex, which was a bit of a challenge with large suitcases due to the steep slope. When it got dark, you had to use your phone's flashlight because parts of the path were very poorly lit. This was a bit dangerous, especially on the steps.

06/09/2025: Overall, this hotel is a lovely, peaceful place to unwind. The rooms consist of semi-detached "cottages" built into the hillside. Access is via a stepped path, making them immediately inaccessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. Breakfast is included, while lunch and dinner can be enjoyed à la carte or from a set menu, which is provided in writing at breakfast. A few caveats: one, as I mentioned earlier, is that the rooms (cottages) are generally quite noisy. Thirdly, the menu offered (via the breakfast menu) doesn't always meet expectations. For example, the salad is like antipasto, with chopped cabbage lacking in flavor. The same cabbage is used as a garnish/vegetable with a veal schnitzel. The price-quality/quantity ratio is not balanced, placing this hotel in the higher price range. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return, but perhaps for one or two nights.

28/09/2025: I'm giving it 3 stars only because it's the only place on the beach and if you want to have lunch there every day you'll spend a fortune, the offer should be wider and accessible to everyone... a salad with a few Brazilian lettuce leaves, smoked salmon (you could barely see it) and walnuts, €14..... good service anyway

02/11/2025: A very pleasant short vacation. The owners and staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was spacious, well-maintained, very clean, and well-soundproofed. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet with a good selection of sweet and savory dishes. The buffet was well-stocked and constantly replenished. The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. All meals, both fish and meat, were always excellent quality at a more than fair price. There is a beautiful beach nearby, within walking distance, but the hotel is also ideally located for reaching other more popular beaches. If the opportunity arises again, we will return. Highly recommended.

26/10/2025: Catastrophic! The only good thing was the wine, and it cost me 7 euros a glass. The pork with potatoes was inedible, and we didn't like the fish pasta we ordered at all. On top of that, they charged us for a 1-year-old's plate. NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED!

26/10/2025: A Big Disappointment at Mario & Pinela – Calasapone (Sant'Antioco) I've known Mario and Pinela for over 40 years, ever since they started at Coequaddus. Originally from Sant'Antioco, I come here several times a year to see my family, and I've always enjoyed stopping by their place. But this time, what a disappointment... We went to their Calasapone establishment two days ago: there was only one couple there, no menu displayed, and no prices listed. We ordered two Ichnusa Limone beers and asked for a snack. The result: a simple piece of melted grilled pecorino... and a bill of 25 euros. Frankly, at that price, it's understandable why the island's restaurants are gradually emptying out. If tourists are being charged the same amount, it's no wonder Sant'Antioco is losing its old-world charm. In other bars on the island, the prices are clear, posted, and remain the same for everyone. Honestly, it would be nice if the Finanza would come and take a look, because operating without posting prices is simply wrong and prohibited. To answer you, sir, you are dishonest!! And your numerous reviews attest to that 😥 I am not a tourist, and your actions are punishable. Yes, it was windy, and you charged us 25 euros. You can't verify this since you didn't give a "scontrino."

06/11/2025: I'm forced to post another review because I can't respond to the establishment's response. 1. The towel provided was exactly what I described. 2. Not only was my pants soaked (as pictured), but my back was soaked, too, with water that was definitely not clean, given its source. The fact that you downplayed it again in the comments makes it all the more embarrassing, because it would have been enough to simply show your apology and not downplay the inconvenience you caused (because yes, you know your establishment, and you should have anticipated it, given that the waitress herself said you had also emptied the gazebo cover several times). I would have expected more seriousness and empathy. She certainly can't determine what's causing my congestion, as she doesn't know my condition or have been concerned about it. A breath of wind is enough to cause it! Regardless, having someone soaked in dirty water from your gazebo wander through the crowded streets isn't nice. Please have the intellectual honesty to admit that you weren't up to the task of dealing with a potentially simple situation, because laughing in my face at the cash register certainly doesn't make me want to lighten the situation. Madam, people respond to you when they notice your response, not because you have any relevance in the world, but I'm very happy it happened, because by continuing to harp on about the downpour and the inappropriate manners, and by responding in this tone to all the negative reviews, you prove to those who read who's right. 07/11/2025: We went for lunch today, recommended by another restaurant owner. The atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and tidy, and the staff were friendly and cheerful. We ordered grilled pecorino, lobster linguine, malloreddus, octopus, and tiramisu. Everything was truly fresh, the fish was truly flavorful, and the octopus melted in our mouths! We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place!

I had the opportunity to taste dishes from times gone by, increasingly rare, and of exceptional quality. The care with which they were prepared was evident in every bite. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves traditional cuisine and wants a unique experience.

22/08/2025: The food is good, but the prices are out of proportion for what you get. A snapper tartare for €24 for two measly bites is simply absurd. There's no menu at the table: you order almost blind. The experience doesn't justify the final bill.
