17/04/2026: Located in the heart of the Marina district, the atmosphere is discreetly refined, and the food offers good value for money. A small flaw: a little more friendly service never hurts...sometimes a smile is all it takes.
12/04/2026: I have to admit, I didn't expect to eat so well in a place that's truly over-touristic! The pasta with clams was delicious (and not Pacific clams like I often see), the crab pasta was also delicious and well-seasoned, and the mixed fried fish was also excellent. It wasn't greasy and it was flavorful. I was prejudiced, but I changed my mind. Recommended.

26/03/2026: Magnificent restaurant perched on the cliffside with a breathtaking sea view! The large terrace is sunny all day long, and the setting is incredibly beautiful and chic. The dishes are very, very good and refined, and the presentation is superb. It was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The presentation is impeccable, and the service flawless! Reservations are essential to secure a table.
24/02/2026: Located in the heart of the city, yet perched on a secluded cliffside between the harbor and Poetto beach, La Paillote is no longer a hidden gem. On the site of a former military base, the owners have created a beautiful haven with a small pebble beach, terrace seating, and an excellent restaurant with a creative menu, though the quality can be inconsistent.
It's the perfect spot for a sundowner, and afterwards, you can enjoy cocktails and snacks or a full dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. In the evenings, the place often transforms into a restaurant-club with live music or a DJ.
Note: Parking can be limited in the evenings.

08/10/2025: There were 9 of us: 4 adults, 5 teenagers/children.
The food was okay (depending on what you ordered, it was also good), and the atmosphere in the restaurant was okay.
The service - well...
One child only wanted to order a side salad or a portion of fries (which is available on the menu).
The staff then got rude and demanded that we order a set menu.
This was despite the fact that we hadn't "just" ordered pizza, but entire menus with appetizers and expensive wine.
The restaurant should be more accommodating...
With a "Servizio & Coperto" charge of €2.50 per cover, you're already paying for the service.

The friendliness of the waiters and the owner was excellent.
We've never had such delicious lobster pasta.

He pampers his guests, making them feel truly at home. Thanks also to Liana, who carefully contributes to every dish in the kitchen... And thanks also to Alessandro, who completes the local offering. Highly recommended for all ages... Mr. Nino, thank you so much ❤️

We were excited about eating some seafood. The antipasto of cozze alla marinara was good. Then, we ordered 1 portion of fish ravioli to share. The dish lacked flavor entirely and the ravioli were definitely not fresh or cooked well. Not only that, they charged us for 2 portions when we asked for one. The grilled calamari was good.
