27/12/2025: We had a wonderful three hour lunch at Il Grottone. The fresh seafood platter and the prawn tartare were superb. We ordered two type of seafood pasta, both amazing. Followed by a seabream with grilled vegetables. We couldn't stop eating, so we also ordered a grilled octopus. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!!

17/07/2025: Abbiamo conosciuto questo posto su consiglio di amici, nei vicoli del centro storico.
Che dire: personale simpatico, professionale e garbato. Cibo eccellente. Abbiamo assaggiato due primi (linguine con i frutti di mare e gnocchi di patate con vongole e asparago verde) davvero deliziosi, seguiti da un'ottima frittura di calamari. Vino rosato di eccellente qualità.
Consigliatissimo!

09/11/2025: All it took was reading the reviews. I ate a takeout tray of seafood salad with a colleague of mine, who had fried food instead. He was fine, but I wasn't. I had food poisoning and am still very ill.
Still undecided whether to report the incident, but I'm thinking about it!

05/01/2026: 2-star hotel. Central location, but rooms and bathrooms are tiny and dated. Amenities are poor (drinking water is available for a fee, no kettle or anything else, almost no shower kit, blasting radiators with no humidifiers). The restaurant is not recommended.
This hotel is for those with modest expectations and who can adapt.
01/01/2026: The hotel is said to be 4 stars... It actually has one star due to its location and type of facility. Service is minimal, practically nonexistent. We ate dinner there and it was very disappointing. The dishes were raw or undercooked, and everything was too salty. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory.

01/12/2025: Welcoming and elegant atmosphere in a villa surrounded by greenery.
Impeccable service provided directly by the very kind owners—a true treat, I'd say.
The dishes are excellent in taste and presentation, seasoned and adorned with fresh, locally grown spices... incredible aromas. I also had the pizza....MAGISTRAL!
What can I say about the dessert? A work of art!
Villa Bacco is a restaurant you simply must visit, so I highly recommend it, and I will return every chance I get. The price is right! ☺️

14/10/2025: Dinner on a weekday evening. Homemade dishes are not available. The head waiter is in a hurry to see you leave. They don't ask if you'd like anything else to eat, and they don't offer dessert or coffee. The important thing is that you leave, and quickly, because there aren't many customers that evening.
AVOID. We've never been so poorly received in Salento!

26/09/2025: A beautiful, quiet place for dinner. Varied menu. We had two appetizers and two first courses, both delicious.
I especially enjoyed the tuna tartare, fresh and light. It was accompanied by two glasses of white wine.
The staff was truly kind and attentive. Even though there was someone missing that evening, they served us right away.
When we return to Alberobello, we'll definitely stop by.

18/12/2025: Honestly, I don't feel like recommending it since I went mainly for the raw seafood and after paying 25 euros and receiving only MUSSELS and CLAMS with two oysters I was very disappointed, the first courses were good, nothing to say but for the rest I was disappointed.

07/09/2025: We had lunch and dinner throughout our week-long vacation at La Lampara restaurant and were delighted with every dish! Many traditional Apulian dishes, made with authentic, well-prepared ingredients.
All accompanied by the warm hospitality of Mimma, Leonardo, and Carmela.
We felt like we were part of the family, which added value to our vacation!
28/08/2025: Inside a campsite, the stuffed mussels and the troccoli allo scoglio are delicious in the cool air, and the allorino digestive offered at the end of the meal is appreciated.

29/09/2025: Four of us went, and it was our first time. Unsure of the size of the dishes, we opted for the €50 seafood option. It was a generous menu, and everything was delicious. Next time, we know we can choose a smaller portion.

08/10/2025: The prices are high for the quality of the products. I'm also waiting, despite several calls and reassurances from the owners, for a refund for the August dinner, as I was charged twice. Based on personal experience, I strongly recommend another restaurant!
