08/10/2024: Posto molto bello a due passi dalle Maldive del Salento, ottima cucina, ma quello che fa la differenza é la gentilezza e professionalità del titolare (credo), davvero oltre ogni aspettativa.

06/10/2024: Auch Ende Saison ist der Service perfekt und das Essen sehr sehr gut - was man an dieser Lage nicht ganz erwartet. Der Preis ist auch eher höher als erwartet - aber eigentlich für die tolle Lage direkt am Meer (wir hatten Wind und peitschenden Wellengang) bzw. am Sandstrand von Pescoluse gerechtfertigt.

14/03/2025: Nice external location overlooking the sea, a little less so than the internal room. Decent food. Fast service and the owner was very nice and funny.

25/01/2025: This restaurant was a pleasant surprise on a day in December 2024 when we decided to have lunch outside by chance. The food is excellent, the fish very fresh and it is all cooked really well with a "homemade hand" and therefore very natural and of high quality. But the real "Plus" of the place is the welcome and the service and above all the Magnifico Piero, an expert prompter and salesman. We returned today, January 25th and I confirm: exceptional quality and superior to many renowned fish restaurants on the Savelletri Torre Canne seafront. Ad maiora and always keep it that way!

21/09/2024: Terrible, strongly not recommended. We started off well with the tasting of the appetizer for 2 people with only the burnt mussels au gratin and the fried wooden squid, after the mess of the second courses, an octopus with potatoes for only 18.00 euros, octopus not received, I took a squid with baked potatoes with two hairs on the side. We pointed out the problem to the staff and they replied that after the DNA test done in the kitchen on the hair, it was impossible that they were staff. We paid the bill with a 3.00 euro discount. Never again, scandalous!!!

20/08/2024: the food is good and the guys who work there are very kind. the location is nice being in a similar garden. the only flaw was that we expected to find much more fish on the menu, considering the photos found on the internet, but instead there were only two fish courses...

26/12/2024: Siamo clienti di questo locale giá da diverso tempo.Ed ogni volta che ci torniamo troviamo sempre la qualità ottima del prodotto e la sapienza con cui è lavorato e proposto.Fatevi consigliare dal titolare o dai suoi dipendenti tra l'altro gentilissimi perché sanno come poter esaltare quello che ti proporranno.Logicamente è un vero e puro ristorante di pesce.Se vuoi sentire il vero sapore del mare in un ambiente tipico nel cuore del centro storico di Gallipoli siete nel posto giusto.Lo consigliamo vivamente.

12/01/2025: volevo provare i sapori della cucina di Vieste, ma qui c'è tutto fuorchè i sapori.Piatti insipidi, location datata,la fa da padrone il pomodoro anche pessimo direi.Seppia ripiena, ripiena si,ma con un mare di sugo di pomodoro, zuppa di fave e cicoria che non sapeva di niente, per finire con il dolce allaricotta che oltre ad essere caro di prezzo era solo dolcissimo e basta, senza dubbio il peggior ristorante trovato a Vieste.Da evitare

29/01/2025: Locale semplice, molto alla buona, con una bella vista sulla darsena di Torre a Mare. L’ambiente è molto informale e i prezzi sono medio-bassi sia in generale sia rispetto agli altri locali circostanti. La proposta culinaria non spicca per fantasia o per particolari doti dello chef. Le portate sono tutte discrete senza lasciare a bocca aperta. Abbiamo preso un antipasto di crudi, seguito dai cavatelli alla pescatora e da una grigliata mista (questa davvero deludente visto che era composta da un piccolo dentice, una piccola seppia e un gamberone, come da foto) accompagnata da un piatto di verdurine, servite dal cameriere come “per sciacquare la bocca”, da noi non ordinata (quindi presumibilmente offerta) ma aggiunta poi al conto finale. I prezzi sono bassi ma forse vale la pena spendere qualcosa in più per avere una migliore qualità.

03/11/2024: Ristorante eccezionale per la qualità e la quantità. Frequento questo ristorante da tantissimi anni. Si mangia davvero bene pesce fresco di qualità. Un saluto a Nico a nonna Maria e tutto lo staff

13/03/2025: A Sunday waiting! Very slow and poorly managed service. We arrived at 1pm and left at 4.30pm. The tagliolini with sea urchins tasteless and poorly seasoned.

09/03/2025: 2 hours of waiting, there were only three of us covered and the dishes arrived at different times... moreover, the dishes were not up to par with either the cost or what was on the menu! I asked for some bread and the waiter brought us 3 pieces of broken bread (it was clear that they were leftovers) saying that he had only scraped together that. We paid 3 first courses, 6 very small croutons, 2 bottles of water, 1 small bottle of Coca-Cola and 3 pieces of leftover bread for 99.00 euros! I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! PLACE TO AVOID! THE WORST EXPERIENCE LIVED IN A RESTAURANT!

19/03/2025: I found myself passing by here by chance, I must say that from the welcome to the dessert, everything was excellent. The owners are very welcoming, the fish is all very fresh. I recommend everyone to stop by, you will be satisfied

21/08/2024: Per il compleanno e la laurea di mia figlia abbiamo scelto questa location. È stata una festa bellissima. Parto con la location... luogo confortevole e ben curato dalla signora Cecilia, servizio ottimo, qualità del cibo ottima, prezzo ottimo. Michele e Cecilia sono due padroni di casa gentilissimi, affettuosi, e hanno reso la festa indimenticabile. Consiglio a tutti di visitare questo luogo immerso nella natura.

13/03/2025: Vista incantevole, servizio discreto, prezzi troppo alti, visto che la materia prima pesce, da queste parti e fuori stagione, ha costi decisamente bassi. Nota : in Puglia, esiste questa ossessione della pasta al dente, quasi cruda... E, se osi chiederla più cotta, ti guardano male, e, talora, nelle recensioni, rispondono che ti piace "scotta". Tranquilli, semplicemente al nord, la preferiamo leggermente più cotta!

13/03/2025: Enchanting view, discreet service, prices too high, given that the raw material fish, in these parts and out of season, has decidedly low costs (just go to the marina to realize this...). For us from the north, pasta should normally be cooked a little more....

27/02/2025: Pessimo e sconsigliatissimo. Le cozze sapevano di detersivo, arrivate fredde ed unte..bicchieri arrivati con ritardo e su richiesta, l'acqua non è proprio arrivata..figuriamo il periodo estevo

19/01/2025: We celebrated my daughter Alessandra's 18th. Despite the rain, a wonderful place, the room set up and cared for down to the smallest detail, excellent food and quality punctual and attentive service. The owners are available and welcoming. Recommended location.

19/01/2025: The food was as good as the service but dead from the cold....an unheated room even though there was an unlit fireplace....just for embellishment....and after this day everyone was sick....

25/01/2025: Ogni volta che vado al Ruri è come andare a casa di amici. Lo Chef, il.Sig. Rino , oltre ad essere bravissimo è anche gentilissimo. L atmosfera è sempre calda e accogliente. Quasi lo preferisco fuori stagione balneare, d inverno con il.camino acceso è fantastico.
